Day Nurseries Owned by Happy Days Nurseries & Pre-Schools in Hertfordshire

The staff are always so friendly and make an effort with every child to make them feel welcome and provide them the best start in life.

Thank you for all you do and continue to do

Both my daughters went to this nursery from the age of 8 months old until they started school. Our youngest daughter had her last day at nursery today. Sending them to Watford Boys & Girls was the best decision we ever made as a family. The care and dedication the staff have shown to both our daughters has been incredible and we can't thank them enough for everything they have done and for always going above and beyond. I can't recommend the wonderful team highly enough and if we should ever have a third child, there is nowhere else we would dream of sending them to.

Communication with parents is excellent, and it is clear that the team truly cares about each child's wellbeing and progress. We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact Boys and Girls has had on our son and would wholeheartedly recommend the nursery to any parent. It has been a fantastic experience for our family.

The staff are very friendly and supportive, the app is a great way to see photos of him and what he eats everyday, he has learnt so much in his time there and made many friends. He looks forward to going to nursery and he will miss it very much when he goes to primary school! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Boys and Girls to any parent.

We've had all three of our children attend this nursery, and we've never had any complaints. The staff have always been caring and supportive, creating a lovely environment for the children. The nursery has also improved significantly over the last year, with noticeable positive changes. We're very happy with the care our children have received and would happily recommend it to other families.

Our boy is coming to the end of his time at boys and girls and our daughter went there too. We have had a lovely experience-they have both been very happy there. The food is great and the location is so handy right next to the station, but above all the staff are absolutely lovely-we have been so happy with the care and attention they have both received. A wonderful nursery.

We are truly grateful to the care our daughter has received, and continues to receive.

A special mention also has to go to the food - it is absolutely incredible! The on-site chef prepares delicious, healthy, freshly-cooked meals every day, we think this has definitely helped our daughter love her food and open to trying new meals!

Since joining, his confidence has soared and his speech is developing so fast! The team is always organising wonderful activities to keep the children developing. A special shout-out to Poppy, Grace, and Emily for being absolute superstars!

An exceptional nursery! Our daughter joined at 18 months when we moved to the area and we are always saying how amazing the nursery is & how lucky we are to get a space! The staff are all wonderful and they really care about her & her development- She's always so happy at drop off! We use the app and get all the updates of all the fun & thoughtful activities put on by the staff and the food she eats always sounds so good. We can't recommend more highly. Thanks so much!

Have nothing but total praise and admiration for the team at the nursery, looking after our little girl and helping her settle down. We are so pleased to have her at this nursery and fully commend the team for the wonderful job.

The staff are absolutely amazing - caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children's happiness and development. The care, patience, and warmth shown by everyone there goes above and beyond, and we will always be grateful for the role they played in her early years.

Our daughter is loving going there, built a strong relationship with the nursery staff and seem to be enjoying the food a lot. Fresh varied food is provided and she seems to be striving there.

Our overall experience at Boys& girls, Watford has been great, our daughter initially would be a little withdrawn while there but really settled in after a couple of months and bonded really well with the staff. They also have some nice activities to keep the children engaged while there and are always open to feedback/concerns from us as her parents. Would recommend.

I cannot fault this place. My son has been so happy here. They do a lot of great activities and the outdoor space is wonderful... I used to love watching him in the garden at pick-up before he spotted me! They have visiting music company for singing and do a lot of arts and crafts. The app keeps you very well informed throughout the day and always a detailed handover at pickup. The staff are all lovely and friendly and traffic and parking is not an issue.

Since starting at Boys and Girls Nursery Watford, my toddler's vocabulary has improved considerably. She has learnt new things about the weather, fruits etc. They might seem like little things but she was just babbling when she arrived the nursery and in 3 months she's already stringing sentences like "Mummy, it's raining. Umbrella?". She's always excited to be there. I really appreciate the efforts by the staff at the nursery.

Warmest Wishes.

My little boy has been flourishing at Boys & Girls Nursery Rickmansworth since joining in March 2025. This is due to the staff who really care for the children they look after. They create educational and interactive activities and gently work with my son as he develops verbally and physically. He really enjoys his day's at nursery and he comes home with a full belly, a huge smile on his face and plenty to talk about. We hope our positive journey with Boys & Girls Nursery Rickmansworth continues and would highly recommend this nursery to any of our friends and family.

Our little one loved his time at Boys & Girls nursery in Watford. It was his first time away from us and so was naturally hesitant at first but, with the care and guidance of his key person and all the other staff at B&G Watford he quickly settled in, made friends and looked forward to his days there. Her particularly enjoyed the various creative activities they do each day and he loved his time outside in their outdoor play area. The food is very good and and we appreciated the daily updates and photos the staff took time to share via the App.

We are happy to recommend this nursery, the children are well cared for and engaged in fun learning activities.

Thank you to all the team!
