Day Nurseries Owned by Toad Hall Nursery Group in Surrey

As a family, we will be forever grateful for the team at Toad Hall in Woking, for the care and support they have shown our beautiful girl on her journey at nursery. She has just started in Reception at Primary School and without a doubt the grounding she received from Toad Hall in Woking, has made a huge impact on her transition to school.

I am very pleased at how my little boy I developing, he really enjoys going to nursery and I couldn't recommend a better nursery for him. He understands what he learns in a day and knows who is around him, he really has excelled in this environment.

Our little girl has been at Toad Hall now nearly a year and a half and we couldn't recommend them enough. All the staff across the nursery are so kind and caring and knowledgeable. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and the management also really support the parents and genuinely care and listen.

The food our little girl is offered is excellent and they provide an amazing range of activities and toys for her to enjoy.

I was such a nervous parent sending my little one to nursery (especially as I used to work in a nursery setting) but Toad Hall very quickly gave me masses of confidence in their ability to care for her, just the same as I do at home.

Thank you Toad Hall for being a home from home for Ella.

A huge thank you to everyone at Toad Hall Horley for everything you do. We feel incredibly lucky that our children are part of such a wonderful nursery and would wholeheartedly recommend it to other parents.

Would highly recommend.

We honestly can't say enough good things about our daughter's nursery. When she first started, I was a really worried mum. She wouldn't take any food or milk while away from me other than breastmilk, and I was so anxious about how she would manage. The staff were amazing and put so much time, patience and effort into helping her at her own pace. Seeing how far she has come, happily eating and drinking at nursery, is honestly quite emotional and has taken such a huge worry off our shoulders.

We love how well they know her and understand her little personality, what she likes and what makes her happy. The daily app is brilliant, especially seeing what she's eaten and drunk, plus lovely photos of her enjoying activities.

Everyone is so friendly, supportive and always willing to help. We also love the family fun days and how included we feel. It genuinely feels like an extended family. We're so grateful for everything they do and couldn't recommend them enough!

Our second son goes to Toadhall and has been going for around 18 months. He absolutely loves his time at nursery and runs in all excited. We didn't even look around for our youngest as we knew we wanted him to go to Toadhall where his big Brother used to go and the fact many of the key staff were still there is a testament to the nursery.

It's such a warm and welcoming environment with lovely modern, bright spaces. The food is always yummy and freshly cooked.

We also love all of the events they do- charity family fun days, Halloween parties, Valentine's Day etc - all such lovely ways to get families involved.

I highly recommend Toadhall.

* I rated value for money lower as this is a wider UK issue where nurseries are so expensive. But Toadhall includes nappies/ suncream etc which is great.

I couldn't be happier with my son's experience at Toad Hall. He has been attending for the last year and a bit, and he honestly has the best time there. I was incredibly anxious to send him to nursery but was very quickly reassured. Every member of staff, whether they work directly with my son or not, is a joy. So friendly, caring and genuine. It really is an extension of our family at Toad Hall. Our son also has a couple of allergies which the staff are so understanding of and go above and beyond to adapt everything for him. I'm really impressed and its meant the world. I can't bear the thought of our time at Toad Hall ever coming to an end!! Thank you to all of the team who support and work with our child xx

Overall, we're happy with the nursery. The staff are caring and seem to know almost every child's name, which creates a lovely atmosphere. I would appreciate more frequent updates through the app so we can better support our child's development at home. I rated cleanliness as satisfactory because my child often comes back with a runny nose within a few days of returning after holidays. Despite this, our overall experience has been positive.

My daughter joined Toad Hall in September 2025, one year before starting school. On joining the nursery she rapidly improved in all areas, particularly her language skills which the team specifically focused on to help bring her up to speed. The facilities are excellent with a great outside space, and the staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. The team go above and beyond, organising days out, special dress up events, and a fantastic graduation ceremony at the end of nursery life. I would highly recommend Toad Hall, my daughter has thrived in their care and I'm grateful for all their support. Thank you Toad Hall!

Absolutely love Toadhall! Cannot recommend highly enough. All of the staff are incredibly kind & caring and are so attentive to all the children. We've got an 18m and a 3.5y who have both settled brilliantly - even my very shy and introverted 3yo. There is a wonderful range of activities from ballet to music classes, and the classrooms have so many toys, games, books etc to suit all personality types. And the children have a great amount of time outside.

The management made our registration and answering my millions of questions from the US very easy which we are eternally grateful for.

Truly cannot praise Toadhall highly enough

I have to say, as a grandma who collects my granddaughter I wanted to write a review as when I pick up my grandchild I have had such a good experience due to the staff and manager. Always so welcomed and security is so good. Lovely atmosphere l.

Overall we are thrilled with the nursery.

We viewed many nurseries whilst trying to find suitable childcare for our son and had nearly given up hope as we could not find anywhere that ticked all our boxes. Er then came across toad hall. Its not the newest or the cheapest but it is the warmest and friendliest that we have seen by far! We are so happy with our choice, the team snd the management make us feel very confident leaving our som on their care and he is settled and thriving.

I recently had to collect my grandson from Toad Hall, Walton on Thames. Having not collected him before i can honestly say that the security measures that were in place were thorough and made me feel that he was indeed in a safe, secure environment. The Nursery was lovely and clean and seemed to have a great atmosphere. The manager was extremely welcoming and i have to say that it was so nice to be greeted by such a lovely lady who took the time to say hello and have a quick chat with me. Well Done

I can't recommend Toad Hall in Haslemere enough. Our son, Hugo, has been at Toad Hall since around 11 months and an upcoming house move means he will be leaving at the age of 3 1/2 years. Hugo absolutely adores nursery and doesn't stop telling us about all the things he does during his day from playing in the mud kitchen, playing on the big tractor tyre to circle time, singing, ballet, yoga, reading and craft! We have absolute confidence that he is surrounded by a wonderful, caring team, that the children are having fun, playing and exploring as children should do and learning valuable life lessons of cooperation, kindness and friendship. In every class Hugo has been surrounded by kind, considerate and enthusiastic staff filling his day with fun and laughter. The thing which stands out the most is that at every pick up we are met by warm, smiling, friendly and enthusiastic nursery staff who take a genuine interest in the wellbeing of children in their care. Thank you to everyone!

I have no concerns at all with her being at this nursery and would highly recommend it

Toad Hall has been exceptional from the very beginning. My daughter has transitioned through three rooms, and in each one, the staff have been consistently warm, caring, and incredibly supportive. She used to feel quite anxious about going into nursery, but thanks to the nurturing environment and dedicated team, she now looks forward to every visit. Watching her grow and thrive has been truly remarkable, and I'm really grateful to everyone who's played a part in her journey.

Beautiful nursery. It's lovely and clean, with lots of toys and different areas for the children to play in. The staff are always friendly, supportive and happy to see my little boy. He loves all the activities he does each day and he has made some lovely friends here. The food menu is incredible and I wish my diet was half as good as the food they provide for the children! I'd highly recommend Toad Hall in Haslemere to anyone looking for a nursery.

Our daughter has been at the nursery for nearly three weeks now, and we are already seeing so much development in her. She absolutely loves her key workers, and the atmosphere in the room is always welcoming and cheerful. Every time we arrive, whether at drop-off or pick-up, there's a real sense of happiness and care. Thanks to the wonderful team, she is settling in so well and clearly feels very happy and secure there. We are really glad we chose this nursery and couldn't be more pleased with the start she has had.
