We have been taking our daughter to Toad hall for 2 years now and we have seen so many inconsistent changes to staff and routine.
This has been so much better since Nakita took over as maternity cover, she has made some fantastic progress and the room leaders are taking a really lovely and engaging
approach with updates.
Since Tracey took over in my daughters room, there has been so much more consistency and updates daily including regular observation for us to see.
Nakita is always so welcoming everyday and so engaging with every parent and child, which did take a drop during staff changes. I can't thank Taylor enough for being so lovely with my daughter either.
I have now signed my son up to start later in the year and I have every confidence that the new management and staff (new and old) will stick around while he moves through the nursery.
Their chef makes some fantastic meals and they have so many activities to keep them busy, my daughter is always so happy after nursery.

The last few months the Toad Hall environment has felt a happier and a more welcoming place to send my son to. Previously I was prepared to take my son out the school as the staff were extremely unhappy and the last two mangers were as friendly as a brick and useful as an old donkey.
It was always
a struggle to get any information out of them or having the Simplest invoicing completed correctly yet alone a simple smile or greeting.
The team are now happy, friendly and welcoming! Whatever or whoever has changed the environment, may it long continue.
My son's development is directly related to the happy staff.
I would now recommend Toad Hall to parents, if you had to ask me in October last year I would have laughed and not recommended Toad Hall.
Great job on the turn around. Keep it up.

My daughter has attended Toad Hall since she was 10 months old. She is now in her final year in the pre-school room, and I am so happy with the team. The nursery has a warm, friendly atmosphere, and I feel at ease when I go off to work, knowing my daughter will have a great day. Tracey and Taylor have
had a huge impact on my daughter's development, and I can see a real difference since she has been in their care. The management team, Nikita & Amy are fantastic, always greeting us and keeping us updated. I would definitely recommend Toad hall

The whole nurse team are so lovely and welcoming, my child genuinely seems happy to see them every day and look forward to nursery - she loves the food, loves the activities and it's so well looked after. The whole team the reassured me and made me feel comfortable leaving my baby there I truly believe
they care for the children. I want the best for them!
The nurse is very clean and the food is nutritious. She gets to try variety of things and gets along so well with other children there.

Fantastic smiley staff from management to individual key workers. Frequent and informative communication and updates on day to day/progress being made. Meals always look very tasty and nutritional, and the activities sound like great fun!
Very supportive with initial attachment issues, both to our
daughter and us as first time parents - happy to say she loves nursery now.

My two nieces have been going to toad-hall for several years now, I have been picking them up weekly ever since, I recently had my own child and was not going to send him to toad-hall as I felt there was to much change here over the years and it didn't feel me with much confidence , however, since meeting
the new manager Nikita, it has completed changed my mind.
The nursery has changed massively over the last few months, the staff all seem very happy now and there's a great atmosphere when you walk in. The changes to the building itself as-well make a huge difference. I'm so glad we met Nikita and now know my son Charlie will thrive at Toad-hall.

I love Toad Hall Chessington and so does my daughter, the team there lead by Nakita and Amy are wonderful. It's so reassuring that not only does my daughter gets to learn through play but she is so cared for. What I love about the Toad Hall team is the warmth and kindness they show not only to the children

The staff that work there clearly care about every child and it shows as my children are so happy when I drop them off. The newest additions to management, Amy and Nakita are wonderful and always willing to listen and help. My daughter recently moved up to pre-school and loves being with Tracey. I feel

Lovely nursery and lovely people managing and running it. My boy is familiar with most staff so is comfortable even when the shifts change during staff holiday times.
I have found them really flexible in terms of helping my child with potty training and sleep times and anything else that requires personal
approach so really pleased with that.
My boy has a lovely time there every day so it's always a pleasure picking him up happy.
The new app needs some work or getting used to so would be better utilised for consistent updates but it's early days so constantly improving.

Unable to provide pictures of my daughter as promised every month - I have to beg weeks for them.
They call me to came and take my daughter in emergency as she has temperature and they can not administer medicine as she was at the nursery for less than 4 hours - asked them to provide me with policy
of nursery I. Regards this matter and nothing was received by email as I was promised, they also stopped answering my calls.
They said my daughter had temperature of 38.6 and seems to increase. When I checked her temperature 15 min later when we arrived home was 37.2 the nursery was very hot no AC was functioning at that point and she was very sweaty.
I have explained to them that I am able to pick her up in 1 h as I have applied chemicals on my carpet and it needs to be vacuumed and is not safe for my daughter to stay in a contaminated environment and they said NO she needs to go home.
I am really disappointed and heartbroken as they have no compassion at all.

My daughter on 14 separate occasions has returned with excrement on her where the staff have continually failed to clean her properly. I have tried to resolve this multiple times, unsuccessfully. The last time we had to take my daughter to the GP as we noticed blood in her dirty knickers. The GP advised
it was probably where she was left sitting in it for so long. I had to demand a meeting with the regional manager who said some of their staff struggle with when the most basic of tasks; and despite assurances, it has happened again. I will be reporting them to Ofsted for failing to provide the most basic of care for my child and I will ensure inform all of this inadequate provision.

My boy has been at Toad Hall Nursery since he was 13 months old and we have nothing but good things to say about the nursery and staff. Our son has a tendency to be shy and nervous, but socialising with other kids at Toad Hall has really built his confidence. Everyone is so kind and patient with him,
all the staff know him and us, and he is always well fed and happy when we pick him up at the end of the day. We worried so much about sending him to a nursery, but Toad Hall in Chessington has been so good for him and he’s clearly fond of the staff and other children there. They play in the garden when possible and do lots of singing and dancing, sensory and craft activities.
The nursery is always clean and tidy, staff are friendly and professional, and most importantly the kids in all the classrooms seem like they’re having a really nice time. Classrooms and gardens are segregated by age and this works really well, as there’s no danger of little kids being knocked over by older children.

My son started in Butterflies in January 2023 and has gone from strength to strength. He absolutely loves being dropped off and the staff are so lovely with him. After some initial teething issues, I am now extremely happy he is settled in and well looked after. He is learning so many new skills and
I’m sure this is down to being encouraged every day by the staff at Toad Hall - in particular his key worker. I now feel happy dropping him off knowing he’s going to have a great day and learn lots of new skills whilst having the best time

I’ve been coming to this nursery for six years and I can’t fault it. It’s a lovely nursery with dedicated rooms and separate gardens.
It’s an old church so it has lovely high ceilings and is full of light. The rooms are spacious and there are dedicated toilets/baby changing areas away from the main
playing space. All food is cooked on-site with great variety. They are constantly updating the nursery, reinvesting to make it great for the children. The best thing about the nursery is the staff. Nursery workers don’t get paid enough. The staff here really care for each child, you can see they love their job and they love the children. Both my kids have loved coming to nursery. They love seeing their keyworker and talk about them all the time. As a working mum, I know I’m leaving my children in the best hands, who will look after them, make them laugh and give them cuddles when they’re sad. They also teach them and I see the progress every day.
