Next week we will be -

Clever Cats & Clever Kittens This week the Clever Cats and Clever Kittens have been learning about St. George being the patron Saint of England. Listening to the story about him being a Roman solider and also the legend of George and the dragon. We also recapped the different countries of the United Kingdom. We have also been learning about Earth day, saying what we need to do to keep our planet healthy. Next week we are thinking about our pets and how we can care for them in the vets role play. The children will be using their writing skills to write a letter to a local animal charity, also helping them to understand the role that they have in their local community. The Clever Kittens will be looking at differences between animals such as furry or not furry. Our book of the week is 'The Pets We Get’ and our song of the week is 'Tiny Turtle’.

Ladybirds Next week in the Ladybird room we will be getting ready for a fun and furry week as it’s Pets Week! We are going to be exploring different kinds of pets, being able to categorise these and create our own animal-themed craft.

Butterflies Next week in the Baby Room, we will be exploring Pets Week through gentle, sensory experiences. The babies will have the opportunity to engage with soft toy animals, listen to animal sounds and explore different textures such as fluffy, smooth and bumpy materials.
