TicTots Day Nursery & Creche Bolton

Deborah has been running the TicTots Partnership since February 2008. Working across all three sites, she is a qualified teacher leading and supporting the Senior staff team in building their knowledge to ensure the provision of high-quality childcare and education through informed observation. It is Deborah's passion that assessment and planning take place for all children, ensuring they progress in an environment of fun learning with stretch and challenge.

I joined TicTots Bolton in December 2017 as a key carer. I have worked with babies, toddlers and preschool throughout the years. I love working in the early years as it makes me happy watching the children grow up. I love supporting them through the different age groups while they are learning new skills and meeting their goals and milestones.

One of my favourite things about TicTots is that we are key carers for the same group of children from the start of babies all the way to preschool.

I love working alongside families through the different transitions and supporting them to get their children school-ready.

Early years goal and aspiration: Achieve my Level Five qualification and deepen my safeguarding knowledge to support families.

I joined the TicTots team in 2021 as a key carer and started in the baby room.

I studied early years as I enjoy learning about child development and how to support babies and young children. I am fascinated by reading about theories and the reasons behind their studies, especially attachment.

Hi, my name is Aasiya & I am married and a mother to three little ones. That certainly keeps me busy.

In my spare time, I like to hike, exercise and go on family day trips. I have been working in childcare for over 10 years and joined the TicTots team in 2018.

From a young age, I had aspirations of working with children and that’s why I have been working hard to become a “Communication Champion” and completed an LQA in “relationship with children and the wider community”-this is so I can support you the parents and journey with you as your little ones hit their developmental milestones.

I have been working at TicTots for almost 5 years now, at both Bolton and Strand, enjoying working as part of the team at both sites.

I have been a nursery practitioner for up to 30 years in a selection of private and charity-run nurseries. I am eager to continually update my knowledge and understanding of how to provide the best possible start to the children in my care. At the moment, I am a level 5 in leadership in child care.

I have a love of bringing music and songs to the children due to the fact that they can bring so much enjoyment and learning into young lives. As well as my love of the outdoors, it lets me be the outdoor champion. I love the way that TicTots really care for the family by assigning a key worker to a child as they start their journey with us. Then both stay together all the way through, allowing such a stronger bond to form between the family and the setting.

Early Years goals and aspirations: I am now completing my Early Years Professional Development Program.

I joined the TicTots team in April 2022, ambitious to start my level 2 apprenticeship. I have taught toddlers and preschool.

I enjoy working in the early years because I love to support children in learning and growing, watching them grow into their own little characters and becoming independent as they transition through the years.

I love working with children with SEND, supporting them through difficult times and encouraging them to want to set and achieve goals for themselves whilst growing in confidence.

In my spare time, I love to meet up with family and friends, making new memories whilst having lots of fun and giggles.

I have been working at TicTots since 2023. I love encouraging the children’s development and getting them school-ready.

Early years goals and aspirations: Complete my Level 2.

Hi, my name is Sana. I enjoy working with children because I get to help each child discover their own strengths and talents. I have always wanted to work in childcare because working with babies and children can be an incredibly rewarding job.

My hobbies and interests are spending time with family and friends. I also like going out to eat and exploring different types of foods. I go to the gym every week as it makes me feel better and boosts my confidence.

My favourite book to read is Dear Zoo. My favourite song is Incy Winsy Spider. I aim to complete my Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship.

I joined the TicTots team in March 2024. From a young age, I have always dreamed of working with children. After 2 years studying at college, I managed to pass and complete my level 3. I have worked in the baby room and toddler room at TicTots and previous nurseries I’ve worked at. I love creating bonds with children as well as my key children.

In my own time, I enjoy spending time with my friends going out and about to different places we haven’t explored and trying different activities and foods instead of being at home. I also spend some time after work at the gym keeping fit!

Alex joined TicTots in November 2024.

I am Oluwafunmilola. I am a lover of children's growth and development. I joined the TicTots team in December 2024.

My goal is to be a good early practitioner that children will always love, trust and look up to.

Seun joined TicTots in December 2024.

I joined the TicTots team in December 2024. I enjoy reading stories and taking my dog out for walks.
