What We Are Learning - 26th August

Clever Cats and Clever Kittens

This week in Clever Cats we are going to be looking more at patterns and creating our own. We are also going to have a go at drawing the tricky shapes such as hearts, ovals and pentagons. As well as this we are going to be looking at our feelings and what this means! Our story of the week is the book of the week and our song of the week is I feel happy. This week in the Clever Kittens we are going to continue working on our shapes and going on a shape hunt on our daily mile! The Clever Kittens are also going to be looking at their emotions and copying expressions in the mirror. Our story of the week is I feel angry and our song of the week is if you are happy and you know it.

Ladybirds

This week the Ladybirds will be continuing to focus on emotions, they will be reading the colour monster book and looking at the different emotions while recognising the different facial expressions that are present when feeling these emotions.

Butterflies

Last week in Butterflies we have been looking at physical development, using the tyres to climb and increasing our finger strength using play dough. This week the Butterflies will be looking at developing their control and manipulation skills by painting with their hands, fingers and paintbrushes, they will be using shaving foam and paint to create these pictures.
