Today I visited the nursery for the stay and play with my grandson, fair to say I was very impressed. I was greeted at the door by the manager who gave me a very warm welcome and showed me down to the room. I was then greeted by the supervisor of the room who gave a tour of the room and took myself
and my grandson to the garden where they had some great activities set up. My grandson loves anything messy and they had planting out, he was in his element, and he loved it. All the staff came and said hello to my grandson which helped him feel at ease, they all had great big smiles on their faces and were happy to answer all my questions. The room itself was very clean and organised, which I loved. And my grandson loved looking at all the toys, he didn't want to go, which made me feel great about sending him to a setting.

Our daughter started at Happy Days a few months ago. She started off quite reserved and would often be upset when we left her in the mornings, though staff reassured us she settled quickly. We've seen such a lovely change in her since that, coming out of her shell and growing in confidence. She also
didn't eat much (if anything) for the first few weeks and now she's enjoying the balanced meals and snacks. The staff always make us feel at ease if our daughter is having an off day, and she speaks highly of them and the friends she's made when she's home. She talks about all the activities she's done, she particularly enjoys painting, playing outdoors, playing in the sand pit and reading books. It's been hugely reassuring for us and we're so glad we chose this nursery!

My daughter has attended this nursery since it opened and I can’t recommend it highly enough! My daughter’s development and speech has improved so much. The staff go above and beyond, and always around if you have any queries. Lots of communication and feedback.

Happy Days is a fantastic nursery. Staff are kind and attentive to the children and the level of care is exceptional. I have two attending (4 and 2) and both have settled well and continue to gain confidence. For older children, the prep towards school and programme of activities is perfect; balancing
fun with challenge and learning. Teachers from the local primary school visit regularly and meet children to help familiarise them in advance of school.
For little ones, the nursery spends time helping to get settled and familiar with their key worker, while ensuring they get accustomed to being with a range of adults so they become confident at all times. Children always seem happy whenever I drop off/pick up (for the most part, as expected!)
The nursery arranges visits in the local community, with recent trips to the local care home for a sing-song with residents, and the local library for story and song time.
The management team are available and approachable which makes sorting admin really easy.

I recommend happy days. The staff (senco manager, teacher) exceptional always caring and competent. They have gone above and beyond to integrate my son, especially considering his special needs, thanks to their efforts, he is now happy and thriving.
He feels truly comfortable there and is making great
progress thanks to the enriching activities offered. It's a place where I feel completely confident leaving my child. I highly recommend to all families looking for a safe and nurturing environment for their little ones.

My daughter is 2 years old she loves going to nursery on her days off, and she cannot wait to get back and play sing and dance with her teachers and friends.
The setting is so child-friendly, very clean and the staff are so welcoming, always smiling and eager to help with any concerns or issues I may
have.
My daughter has really settled in well, enjoys her meals and snacks and is overall very happy.
I am so glad she is attending this nursery.

The workers at Happy Days have been absolutely brilliant, we moved from another nursery to this nursery and they have done nothing but ensure that my child is comfortable settling in and given her all the attention she needs to ensure her settlement goes smoothly.

We have been so happy with Happy Days Charlton Heights. Our child was a little slow to settle in initially but the support given by the team to make sure she was happy here before starting her hours was way above and beyond what I ever expected. The staff at this nursery are the nicest, kindest people
you will meet. They genuinely care for our child and she has developed lovely relationships with the team, especially her key worker. As if this isn't enough, the facilities are great, she gets to participate in lots of interesting activities, the food menu makes me jealous every day and the nursery always looks spotless (somehow?!).
I would recommend this nursery to anyone, we are so happy we choose Happy Days. I can't imagine a better fit for our family.

The staff has been great in helping my 10-month-old to settle in the nursery, offering her as many settling sessions as needed.
Her key person is very nice, you can tell she worries about the children and is very sweet. Baby got on great with her

I visited this nursery recently intending to send my Granddaughter there once she is of an age.
I cannot fault this nursery. There was a warm welcome, lovely bright surroundings, the staff are very friendly and professional, and it is immaculately clean with plenty of toys.
I would be more than happy
to send my Granddaughter there.
The Manager was also exceptionally professional, I had a very informative chat with her.
None of the other nurseries in the area compared.

For the past 6 months, our 2 children (16 months and 3.5 years old) have been going to this nursery. We are very happy with the facilities, activities and food. Our children are thrilled to go there and as they are not English native, they picked up the language very quickly and can communicate as they
wish.
We want to thank all the staff for taking great care of them. We trust them with our children and we know that they will respond accordingly to anything happening. Every drop-off and pickup is friendly and informative.

I have been so impressed with all the staff at Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Charlton Heights. The staff looking after my 8-month-old daughter are incredibly attentive, supportive, caring and friendly and actively help her to develop all her skill sets. They have a genuine love for their roles in
looking after and nurturing the children there. Communication via the app and at handover is great. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our daughter started attending Charlton Heights from the first week it opened in September 2023.
Myself and my husband have nothing but praise for the nursery and the care they have given/are still giving our daughter.
Our daughter is 2 in March. When she first started she was nervous and didn’t
like us leaving her. The staff were fantastic and ensured she felt safe and cared for at all times. Those mornings of upset drop offs are firmly in the past and she walks in now with a smile on her face, demanding attention from the adults she knows and trusts.
The provision provided at Charlton Heights is excellent. Our daughter is learning to sign through sign and sing and she comes home with a whole variety of pieces of art she has created.
The handovers are great and the use of the app means we feel like we know what she has been up to and we have no concerns or worries for her at all.
Thank you to all the staff at Charlton Heights, especially the staff in the explorers room.

Hello! My name is Steph and I am the manager at Charlton Heights. I have worked with young children my entire career, starting by running children’s birthday parties! I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2014, specialising in children aged 3-7 years old.
