Welcome to Bright Horizons' Nursery in the centre of Purley.

When children join the nursery at Bright Horizons Purley, ideally situated by Purley train station and a short walk from the high-street, they join a friendly and welcoming family of staff, parents and children, quickly settling into the routines and fun of the day.

The dedicated team provides personalised care and education tailored to each child's unique needs and interests. With spacious and inviting classrooms, equipped with state-of-the-art learning materials, the nursery fosters a love for exploration and discovery. From the baby room, where the team prioritises mirroring home routines for a smooth transition, to the toddler spaces designed to encourage independence and curiosity, every corner of the nursery is crafted with your child's growth and development in mind.

The team loves to get outside and enjoy the small garden or roof terrace, so learning is often taken outside into the garden; and while your child is busy exploring and having fun, the team can keep you updated via the Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with the nursery.

We have been so happy with our move to Bright Horizons Purley Day Nursery and Preschool. We had to leave a previous setting and were nervous about finding somewhere where our little one could settle again as they can struggle in new places and with new people. I was shocked and so pleased at how quickly
they settled in and connected with staff and key workers. The breadth of activities and ways to support the development of children is so dynamic and wide-ranging. Each week our little one grows and is chuffed to have had a great time. We couldn’t been more happy here.
The staff take their time for handover, even at busy times and all questions are always answered quickly by management or other members of room staff. They’re all a pleasure to talk to making it more comforting to drop our little one off each day.

Really welcoming and helpful staff - particularly helpful for new starters and first-time parents. Great activities for the children and feel they are in very safe hands. Really enjoy the updates on the app too.

We have been beyond impressed with Bright Horizons Purley Day Nursery and Preschool, after moving our son from a former nursery. Almost all of the staff greet him by name and he has made strong bonds with two staff members in particular. The nursery is very clean, big and we particularly like that there
is a separate downstairs play area. Staff are extremely responsive to messages (often answering in under an hour) and we get several updates a day on the activities of the children. Not only do we get to see what our son is up to but we can also pair this at home (e.g. if he’s doing colours, we can read a book or ask him about it). The activities are laid out and there is a theme per week. I really cannot speak highly enough about the organisation of this nursery - we are very glad you opened in Purley!

My little girl really enjoys coming in each day. Runs off happily to the staff in the room. She has brought home some beautiful pictures and drawings. Really enjoys the food and has begun to eat so much more at home because of this.

My daughter has been coming here for over a year now and absolutely loves it. She has learnt so much and grows every day soaking it all up coming home and telling me all about her day recreating activities she's done at nursery. She loves the staff and all the friends she's made.

We were considering moving our child due to price increases at our current nursery so we checked out Bright Horizons Purley Day Nursery and Preschool.
The communication from staff was fantastic from day one, throughout the tour, getting our son on the waiting list and then getting him enrolled.
In
the end, we decided to keep him where he was as it was much more convenient for where we live but I would have had no hesitation starting him at this nursery if it hadn't been for its location in relation to our home.
The nursery is brand new and all nappies and wipes are included. They have different meals every week and the staff were all super friendly on our visit. There's a nice garden for playtime as well as a cool sensory area and toys in the downstairs playroom.
We also liked that Bright Horizons has a clear learning pathway and a really cool interactive app.

We moved my daughter here from another nursery that we were not happy with. We really had lost faith in the nursery system and when we met the manager, we took a punt, as the nursery hadn't opened yet. The manager came across as competent, trustworthy and experienced. Something that we didn't feel the
management at our previous nursery was and she proved us right! She has done a great job in recruiting mature and caring staff that really look after the children. The difference in my daughter's happiness, behaviour and attitude is like night and day since moving her. She likes everyone, she has lots of fun, we get plenty of updates (which is so reassuring), she has developed her eating and the staff are all great and some real stand-out team members, that I hope are retained!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I started my career here at Bright Horizons Epsom, beginning my journey in our Preschool unit. Over the years, I have gained experience in all the rooms. I gained my Level 3 in Child Care and Early Years in 2010, Leadership and Management Level 3 in 2016 and currently studying Level 2 in Autism. Part of my role is Health and Safety Officer, which means I make sure the nursery is safe for all children, parents, visitors and staff.


I enjoy every minute of working at Epsom and am very proud to be managing our newest nursery at Purley.
