The nursery operates from four rooms; a baby room, an infant room, a toddler room and a pre-school room. Each room consists of pathways for children to browse their environment at their own leisure. Rooms are carefully designed to ensure that when a child is browsing their environment, they are still learning within every area of the room.
The nursery adopt the Reggio Emilia approach in their practice. The Reggio Emilia belief is that all children are capable, creative and intelligent. At Blossoms, practitioners work with the child as an active collaborator, both adult and child learning together. They encourage children to investigate and explore their own questions, theories and ideas about what is happening in the world around them. They support their investigations into these questions through creativity, allowing children to lead and develop their own pieces of work.
Blossoms Day Nursery promote learning outdoors as it develops the children’s relationship with nature, and also include resources that are as natural as possible for learning whilst indoors. The children are supported in their creative ideas, and they believe no idea is wrong. Staff study and learn from the children and extend their ideas to see where it leads.

I have never had any issues in the 3 years he has been there and would highly recommend to others thinking of sending their children there.

My 2 children absolutely love going every week and have built some great relationships with staff members. In particular, the pre-school room has been the most enjoyable for my children; the staff work so hard to ensure the children have a great time whilst learning through play and learning life skills also. The setting as a whole is clean, staff well trained, polite and always there to speak with. I would definitely recommend Blossoms to others.

My son attends Blossoms Day Nursery and has done so since September. He has never once cried about attending and always comes out with a smile on his face. The app is an excellent way to track his day so we can manage his meals and sleep, as well as see photos of him completing activities and interacting with his friends. He is exposed to a wide variety of foods, which has really helped his eating at home. We love it there and would highly recommend.

My son absolutely loves going to the nursery; he has amazing bonds with the staff there and has developed into a lovely little boy, which I have to give a large amount of credit to his time at Blossoms. My little girl has been attending Blossoms Day Nursery since October 2020. As a new parent, I was apprehensive about leaving my daughter, but I honestly had nothing to worry about! She absolutely loves it here! She walks in every morning with a smile, which is obviously reassuring as a parent. She has come on leaps and bounds whilst attending Blossoms. They have been excellent throughout the pandemic, keeping parents informed and following the guidelines, even better they have managed to remain open throughout, meaning I haven’t missed work at all. They offer a well-balanced menu, and always have lots of activities happening. The app they have is great too, enabling you to see what your child is doing/eating/sleeping during the day. I would 100% recommend this nursery. The staff are great with my daughter, and her little face lights up when she sees them. The fees are in line with other local nurseries. However, I think this nursery is by far a better place to send your child!
