My 16-month-old son has been attending Wendover Day Nursery since March 2022 and I couldn’t be more impressed with the facilities, communication and most importantly, the staff. They are all genuinely so helpful, kind and enthusiastic and clearly love interacting with the children. My son is so happy
there and his development has also accelerated greatly. I would fully recommend it.

Never in a million years did I think my clingy lockdown baby would settle into nursery so easily! The nursery offered generous time for settling in and they have been incredibly welcoming and caring towards my daughter. She toddles in in the mornings, no problem. The rooms and outdoor space are lovely,
calm but stimulating environments, all created with the children in mind. I like the detail on the Famly app they use as I always know exactly how long she has slept for and what she has eaten. And speaking of food - I feel pretty jealous when I read her menu each day. Days are filled with messy activities and lots of outdoor time. My daughter has quickly warmed to the staff and I trust them entirely. I can go to work relaxed. It was a gamble choosing a brand new nursery with no reputation but I have only good things to say and feel we made the right decision.

We were slightly nervous about sending our son to a new nursery, especially when he was very happy and making good progress at his previous nursery, but the staff looking after him have been so warm and lovely that he formed very strong bonds with them very quickly and talks about them all the time
at home! The facilities are incredible – bright, spacious, interactive and with an amazing garden, which we knew our son would love. As parents, we find the app that keeps us updated throughout the day very informative and reassuring, and on the one occasion I phoned the nursery to check our son was ok, they added extra updates and photos to reassure me. Overall, we are very happy with the nursery and would recommend it.

My 3-year-old daughter attends the nursery 2 days a week and absolutely loves it. She has previously attended another nursery which we took her out of because we weren't happy with a few things. Wendover Day Nursery is so refreshing! Unbelievable building and facilities, inside - and out! Friendly and
welcoming staff, fantastic communication from dedicated room staff and management. Easy to use app for updates on my daughter, as well as upcoming activities, curriculum and invoicing. Clean, bright and secure. My wife and I are much more comfortable with Wendover and our daughter is excited to go every time!

Choosing a nursery for your child is such a big decision. We had looked around a few places and we loved the feel of Wendover Day Nursery, the big bright rooms, natural resources and most importantly the big garden! It was a bit of a leap of faith going to a brand new nursery, but we've been there since
the very beginning and not regretted it one bit. Being a lockdown baby, it took a while for my daughter to settle in but the staff have been brilliant and so caring, both to me and my daughter! I really struggled at the beginning, leaving my daughter with someone else as she'd never been left with anyone before, not even family. But the nursery team acknowledged this, sending me additional updates and photos of my happy little girl throughout the day. The activities have all been great, and the team really focus on the interests of each child. We also receive newsletters and different activity suggestions which are really helpful too. Would 100% recommend!

Jodie Ahmet

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2023

My name is Jodie, and I am the Nursery Manager at Wendover Day Nursery.


I joined Wendover Day Nursery as Deputy Manager in September 2023 and was delighted to be promoted to Nursery Manager in March 2025.


In addition to my professional role, I am also a parent to a wonderful two-year-old who attends the nursery. This dual perspective allows me to truly understand and appreciate the needs and expectations of parents. It enables me to approach my role with empathy, ensuring that every decision we make is in the best interest of the children and their families.


Starting my career in early years education 8 years ago as an apprentice has given me a strong foundation and a deep, hands-on understanding of every aspect of nursery life, and I am so proud of my team's clear vision that we share for all of our children- to be happy, resilient and thrive every day, no matter their age, background or abilities.
