We could not be happier with Wendover Day Nursery, its been amazing for both my son and for my nephew (1 and 3).
I was so stressed about leaving my son at nursery, we haven't spent much time apart before and we ate very attached to eachother so I was nervous about how he (and I!) would adjust. The
girls were so kind and reassuring during his settling period and this hasn't changed. They are great at communicating throughout the day with photos and updates on the app, and are great at supporting us when there are routine changes or specific development areas we want to focus on (crawling, standing etc). The manager of babies room 1, is particularly amazing. We really feel she cares about our son and goes above and beyond to make sure him and all the other children are happy and well cared for

The nursery is a wonderful setting for all ages. We moved our little boy from another nursery and we are just so thrilled as parents how he has developed so well thanks to the nursery. The nursery is clean and the staff are lovely and handovers are brilliant with detailed info on how our son has been.
The app is always updated and keeps us informed with new information. I can't recommend this nursery enough, it's fantastic!

Both my sons attend Wendover Day Nursery and they have both enjoyed it from day one. They get involved in such a wide range of activities and the staff really put so much effort into planning their days and making special memories. The garden in particular is a real highlight. The team care for all
the children and it is lovely to see that they are equally as excited as me to see the boys achieve various milestones. My eldest is leaving to go to school in September, thanks to the team at Wendover Day Nursery he is ready for this transition and is super excited for big school.

My little one loves this nursery and always comes back so happy. As a first time mum it was daunting and stressful trying to find a nursery to accommodated to our needs and then we found Wendover day nursery. The settling in sessions were great and helped put my mind at ease seeing how the staff worked
and the room my little one was going to be in. They also talked through how she likes to be put to sleep, allergies and massively helped with her weaning journey.All the staff are very friendly and know my little one's name even those who don't work in the same room and always say hi when passing.
I can confidently express any concerns I have and staff are fantastic at finding solutions and always listen.
They take good care of my little one, does lots of activities and I am able to track her in the app. I also get daily photos which is special especially when I miss her. Could not fault, I highly recommend this nursery.

My son has attended Wendover Day Nursery for over a year and loves going in every morning. There's a strong sense that the whole staff team know him, even staff who are based in the older rooms and have not yet worked with him. It's priceless to be able to leave him in the care of a warm and welcoming
team who have his best interests at heart and with whom he's so settled and happy.
His interpersonal skills such as sharing and turn taking have developed amazingly well and his language development is coming on in leaps and bounds. As an outdoorsy little boy, we really appreciate the quality and space afforded to him in their outdoor area that backs onto expansive countryside views. It's a little gem.
Staff helped us to identify a dairy intolerance and were able to quickly address it by adjusting to dairy alternatives such as oat milk for him whilst we did the same at home.
Thanks to the team for all you continue to do for our wonderful little man.

We couldn't be happier with how well our son has settled into the nursery since April of this year. From the very beginning, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, and it's clear to see how much they genuinely care about the children.
There's such a great variety of activities on offer, keeping
the days fun, engaging, and full of learning opportunities. The room leaders show real passion and dedication, and that comes through in everything they do. Our son is happy to go to nursery and it's lovely to see how much he's thriving.
The management team are also clearly passionate and committed to continuous improvement, which gives us real confidence that the nursery is always evolving in the best interests of the children.
We're grateful to have found such a great place for our little boy.

We have a wonderful experience sending our little girl to Wendover Day Nursery, where she's been since she turned one. She looks forward to going and excitedly tells us about the friends she's played with and the activities she has done. The staff are all friendly and super caring and supportive to
the children.
The staff have been brilliant with supporting us through big milestones like potty training, dropping naps etc. It makes us very happy to know our daughter is safe, happy and in a fun and loving environment.

Honestly can't praise Wendover Day Nursery highly enough. My son had a bad previous experience elsewhere so I was so nervous to send him somewhere else. My child has been attending this nursery shortly after it first opened, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I was very apprehensive to leave my child for the first time, she was breastfed and we hadn't spent a day apart so it was a big adjustment for both me and my child and the nursery was
fantastic during the transition. The teachers are incredibly friendly and always put the children first, creating a nurturing and encouraging environment.
The staff go above and beyond to support both the children and parents. They have been a fantastic help with important milestones like potty training and teeth brushing, offering practical guidance and encouragement. It's clear that the team truly cares about each child's development and wellbeing. The chef cooks fantastic, nutritious meals and the menu changes regularly ensuring variety. I love the app and being able to see in real time what & when they've eaten/slept/toileted etc and what they've played & learnt each day.

I could not fault our experience with Wendover Day Nursery, my son happily goes into nursery and is always greeted by one of the wonderful smiley members of staff. The updates are great throughout the day and I love the end of day recaps seeing what he has been up to! His confidence and independence
is always commented on by others and I largely put this down to Wendover day nursery and the skills they have taught him. I have full trust in the nursery and their care and would recommend to those looking for a nursery they can trust and their child loves.

My daughter has been at Wendover for over a year and absolutely loves it. We did try a different nursery before coming to Wendover, the difference is huge. New, clean, engaging environment for the children. Management are excellent, staff are great.. can't fault anything. My daughter has come on leaps
and bounds since joining, 10/10 from me!

Wendover Day nursery is a loving nurturing and inclusive environment. I am so happy I found this nursery. My son has suspected autism and we had a really bad experience at the previous nursery so I was quite nervous putting him into another nursery however the team was so lovely and we really had a
great experience on the tour that we went ahead and enrolled. The SENDco was so patient and understanding when it came to settling my son into nursery herself and the team was so understanding and supportive they helped with showing him around and settling him into his new environment and really took the time to understand things from a neurodiverse lens, he settled in better than we could ever have imagined, he absolutely loves nursery and can't wait to go every day. He is absolutely thriving and doing so well thanks to the wonderful team thank you to his key worker, the SENDco and the nursery manager for all the amazing work. Would highly recommend this nursery.

My son started attending Wendover Day Nursery in September 2024. He attends three days a week currently and thoroughly enjoys his time. The staff are all wonderful and attentive. The daily updates with his schedule and photos are really enjoyable to receive. I highly recommend this nursery.

My son has a rare condition, and I was worried about how a nursery would be able to deal with it. From day 1, walking around Wendover Nursery has been great with him. They have treated him the same and have not let anything be an issue. I love the updates from the whole group in baby 1 room and also
the personal updates with things that my son has learnt or shown he can now understand, it eases the worker's guilt a lot. I love watching my son interact with the other children in real-time.
His main 2 ladies that look after him are amazing with him. You can tell they really enjoy playing with him and watching him grow as much as we do at home. During the summer, they were outside as much as possible and have a lovely area under shade that the small babies can play in.

My son first started attending Wendover Day Nursery in early April (2024). He thoroughly enjoys the two days a week he spends with them. The staff are lovely and really attentive. I really enjoy seeing the daily updates with photos. I highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter joined Wendover Day Nursery at 9 months in May, we were very apprehensive around anyone other than us taking care of her, especially as she has a dairy allergy and was breastfed, however, the doubts were quickly erased when she took to her teachers and all the staff very quickly! They cater
to her needs and even got her drinking out of a bottle each day! Management and the team are great and lead the nursery so well. My daughter is growing and learning every day and they are encouraging her speech and development with such visible success. At 14 months she is so settled with everyone there and is even transitioning into the next room with ease. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who asked and have done so! As well as knowing that if we have another child, they will definitely be joining the nursery too.

Jodie Ahmet

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2023

My name is Jodie, and I am the Nursery Manager at Wendover Day Nursery.


I joined Wendover Day Nursery as Deputy Manager in September 2023 and was delighted to be promoted to Nursery Manager in March 2025.


In addition to my professional role, I am also a parent to a wonderful two-year-old who attends the nursery. This dual perspective allows me to truly understand and appreciate the needs and expectations of parents. It enables me to approach my role with empathy, ensuring that every decision we make is in the best interest of the children and their families.


Starting my career in early years education 8 years ago as an apprentice has given me a strong foundation and a deep, hands-on understanding of every aspect of nursery life, and I am so proud of my team's clear vision that we share for all of our children- to be happy, resilient and thrive every day, no matter their age, background or abilities.
