My daughter started toddlers in September and although she took a while to settle the staff were understanding and supportive. Lovely team in the toddlers room. She loves going now and has grown in confidence, drawing ability and song lyrics. Management very approachable, responsive and flexible. Great

Our son has been going to Wendover Day Nursery for 5 months now and we couldn’t be happier with how he’s getting on. His confidence has grown so much since he started thanks to the help of the brilliant staff. He has such a good time every day and we love seeing the daily update and photos of what he’s

Our son settled very quickly here, following our relocation as a family up from London, first into Baby Room 2 and now in the Toddler room. He swiftly built strong attachments with his teachers and is making close friendships. The Baby Room regularly go on outings in their big 6-seater buggies to the
garden centre over the road, to a nearby stream for paddling, and to a care home for the elderly towards Wendover. We love how much time the children all seem to spend playing and learning outside in their gardens (in almost all weathers).


The management are very friendly and hard-working and they are leading all the staff team to make enhancements to their early years curriculum, with various activities set up every day and engaging staff who want to tell you all about your child’s day on pick up. I’d recommend Wendover Day Nursery to any local parents.

Wendover Day Nursery is a superb nursery with amazing facilities and staff. The manager is exactly the type of person you’d want running a nursery, she is open and caring and always puts the children first. The member of staff who runs the preschool room finds a great balance between learning and fun.
Every day there are new activities and themes. My daughter comes home dishevelled and messy in the best possible way! They bake, paint and do loads of sensory play. They take turns leading the group, help tidy up and get dressed independently. The pre-school children often plan their own day, with autonomy over activities. They have been on trips to the park, garden centre and local care home. The children learn about road safety and kindness. We are really happy with our choice to send our daughter here.

We chose Wendover Day Nursery as it was brand new and the facilities are beautiful. The garden is a big hit with our daughter. The children get taken out to the park or to feed the ducks and always have plenty of fresh air. The staff are so lovely, friendly, fun and caring. Our daughter goes in every
morning happily and comes home having had a great day. Varied activities and Spanish lessons and football coaching have been an amazing addition. I love the partnership with the nursing home and can’t wait to hear how those visits go in the future.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. She is excited to get involved with all that is on offer. A range of creative and stimulating activities are available each day which she is keen to talk about at home. The staff really seem to know her and often adapt activities to suit her interests or

My little one loves coming here and playing with his friends and caregivers. We love that the food is fresh and cooked onsite, the staff are all very attentive and caring and the activities are great! From trips out to Spanish class! The garden is spectacular. The only downside is the unfortunate news
of the new neighbours. But overall I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

I absolutely loved my daughter going here and more importantly my daughter loved being there, we are absolutely gutted that we are no longer going to be using Wendover Day Nursery.
The teachers are so loving, caring and nurturing towards the children, which is my main priority when looking at nurseries
you will see once you read the Ofsted report, regardless of their rating the report reads differently. In my opinion, paperwork can wait if it means staff are interactive with the children.
They are always out playing, learning about new things and having trips to the garden centre and park.
My daughter has come far in the short 3 months she was there, from being a shy individual to growing confidence in not only the nursery setting but socially outside too. It's been so lovely to watch.
I would highly recommend Wendover Day Nursery to any parent looking for a great, happy environment for their child to be cared for.

A year ago this nursery was amazing. They have had a number of good teachers and managers leave and now it is absolutely horrible. I would not recommend sending your child here. My son comes home filthy and with scratches and injuries. They do not keep children safe and do not even abide by the basic
Ofsted requirements, as evidenced by the recent report.

Our daughter settled into nursery really quickly and is always excited to see the staff when she gets there in the mornings. All the staff know the children's names, even if they are from a different room, which adds to the friendly atmosphere of the nursery. They regularly take the children out of
the nursery for trips to the garden centre or park and have different activities to do with the children every day so they are never bored.

I could not recommend the teachers and environment highly enough. The staff are so welcoming to both parents and children and it is easy to address any questions or queries. The teachers recognise individual personalities and needs. The progress we have seen, especially with his determination to be

We visited quite a few nurseries before choosing one for our daughter. None of them compared to Wendover Day Nursery in terms of the facilities, the expansive outdoor space and welcoming nature of the staff. It was an easy choice.
When it came to her starting, it was a wrench for me as I'd never left
her for so long before and I found it tough. The staff were all so comforting during her settling in, answering all of my questions with kindness. They just made the whole process so much easier. Now she absolutely loves going to nursery, she often doesn't want to leave again in the evening. She's come on so much in all areas and I genuinely feel happy now when I drop her off as I know she's going to have a great day every time.

I'm so happy with the choice I made to put my little boy into Wendover Day Nursery. Every member of staff knows my little one as an individual and not just a number. I feel like they truly care about him and know his personality by the time they have spent caring for him. I've never been disappointed
in the care for him and every week he amazes me with something new he has been learning. He has come on leaps and bounds since being part of the nursery. My little boy is bilingual and everyone has made such an effort to learn greek words to make him feel more comfortable and have encouraged his learning of both languages. My 2 sons have attended Wendover Day Nursery full-time since March 2021 (aged 23 months and 4 years).
The staff are truly amazing and the activities for the children are planned with a huge amount of attention to detail and care including learning about different religious holidays and diversity all
presented in age-appropriate ways. The children learn through play and enjoy magnificent outdoor and indoor spaces across all the different rooms. The resources available to the children are amazing and the building is purpose-built creating the perfect environment.
The communication with parents is really good and the nursery make a huge effort to create events including parents which the kids really enjoy. It makes me feel part of their day even though I'm not there and it makes it easier for me to continue discussions about the days activities after nursery.

Our daughter has been going here since it opened, and we couldn't be happier with how she has come on in this time. In the last few months alone her speech and imagination has come on so much. The nursery provides so many opportunities for her to explore what she is comfortable with.
In recent months
she's been on a school trip to the zoo and loved all activities during space week. Thank you for another wonderful year, helping our daughter.

My 16-month-old son has been attending Wendover Day Nursery since March 2022 and I couldn’t be more impressed with the facilities, communication and most importantly, the staff. They are all genuinely so helpful, kind and enthusiastic and clearly love interacting with the children. My son is so happy
there and his development has also accelerated greatly. I would fully recommend it.

Never in a million years did I think my clingy lockdown baby would settle into nursery so easily! The nursery offered generous time for settling in and they have been incredibly welcoming and caring towards my daughter. She toddles in in the mornings, no problem. The rooms and outdoor space are lovely,
calm but stimulating environments, all created with the children in mind. I like the detail on the Famly app they use as I always know exactly how long she has slept for and what she has eaten. And speaking of food - I feel pretty jealous when I read her menu each day. Days are filled with messy activities and lots of outdoor time. My daughter has quickly warmed to the staff and I trust them entirely. I can go to work relaxed. It was a gamble choosing a brand new nursery with no reputation but I have only good things to say and feel we made the right decision.

We were slightly nervous about sending our son to a new nursery, especially when he was very happy and making good progress at his previous nursery, but the staff looking after him have been so warm and lovely that he formed very strong bonds with them very quickly and talks about them all the time
at home! The facilities are incredible – bright, spacious, interactive and with an amazing garden, which we knew our son would love. As parents, we find the app that keeps us updated throughout the day very informative and reassuring, and on the one occasion I phoned the nursery to check our son was ok, they added extra updates and photos to reassure me. Overall, we are very happy with the nursery and would recommend it.

My 3-year-old daughter attends the nursery 2 days a week and absolutely loves it. She has previously attended another nursery which we took her out of because we weren't happy with a few things. Wendover Day Nursery is so refreshing! Unbelievable building and facilities, inside - and out! Friendly and
welcoming staff, fantastic communication from dedicated room staff and management. Easy to use app for updates on my daughter, as well as upcoming activities, curriculum and invoicing. Clean, bright and secure. My wife and I are much more comfortable with Wendover and our daughter is excited to go every time!

Jodie Ahmet

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2023

My name is Jodie, and I am the Nursery Manager at Wendover Day Nursery.


I joined Wendover Day Nursery as Deputy Manager in September 2023 and was delighted to be promoted to Nursery Manager in March 2025.


In addition to my professional role, I am also a parent to a wonderful two-year-old who attends the nursery. This dual perspective allows me to truly understand and appreciate the needs and expectations of parents. It enables me to approach my role with empathy, ensuring that every decision we make is in the best interest of the children and their families.


Starting my career in early years education 8 years ago as an apprentice has given me a strong foundation and a deep, hands-on understanding of every aspect of nursery life, and I am so proud of my team's clear vision that we share for all of our children- to be happy, resilient and thrive every day, no matter their age, background or abilities.
