My children's nursery places were terminated, and soon after I was reported to social services. The case was closed straight away as there were no concerns, but the whole experience was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. I had already made payment and am still waiting for my deposit to be returned.
I wouldn't want any parent to go through what I did.

All the staff at Wendover Day Nursery are incredibly welcoming and have really helped my daughter settle in this term. The children are always busy with a variety of activities to stimulate them, and the nursery's outside garden space is beautifully pieced together.

Staff are all so so lovely and fantastic with the babies, my baby hasn't long started but even at 10 months is happily going in and having the best time playing, weaning and learning new skills! Our son has attended Wendover Day Nursery for about 9 months now and as a family we've been really impressed. When selecting a nursery for our son I'd visited over ten different ones and a few days before making a decision, I bumped into a parent whose son already attended and they said I should come
for a visit. I was immediately welcomed in by the nursery manager, Jodie and within a few minutes I knew this was the right setting for our son. The staff are always welcoming and enthusiastic and the daily activities on offer are creative and enriching. Our son has struggled with transitions but the nursery has worked with us to support him to improve these. The nursery has the right balance between a warm, welcoming, homely environment but also the professionalism and high standards required to help keep the children safe. They have a great outside space too which is an added bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to other parents.

We've been really happy with the nursery. The setting is purpose built, light, spacious and even has air con, which made such a difference during the hot summer days.
Our eldest has just left the pre school, and we were so impressed with the wide range of activities on offer. Learning is play based,
and there are lots of extra curricular opportunities that kept her engaged and excited.
Our younger child is currently in the toddler room, and he absolutely loves his days there. He spends plenty of time in the garden, which he thrives on, and the team take excellent care to meet his dietary needs.
One of the real stand-out features for us is the communication. The nursery's app is by far the best we've experienced (and we can compare, as we've used a couple of other nurseries due to moving). Every day we get detailed updates about not only our child's routine, but also the activities always accompanied by lots of photos, which we love!

Our 8month old daughter Betsy has just started with Wendover Day Nursery part time after a recommendation from a friend and she absolutely loves it already.
She goes in with a smile and comes out with an even bigger one!
She's made a great bond with the staff already and we love the update photos
daily to see her doing all sorts of exciting things with her new friends.
Our first impression when we viewed the nursery was how clean and homely the environment was and the staff have also gone above and beyond to suit Betsy's dietary needs with her cow milk protein allergy and she seems to love all her meals there so far.
We couldn't recommend highly enough

My son has been going since he was 8months old and now will go to school in September! it was pretty much new when we joined and the sensory room was a major factor in selecting this nursery as was cooking from fresh on site!


we have always been happy with the staff, despite some movement there

are some consistent faces and everyone knows my son by name.


the days are structured, appropriate to the age and development needed. Great out door space, my child comes home muddy and half the sand from the sand pit is in his shoes, but to me that's a sign he has enjoyed his adventures!

I think every parent is concerned the first time they drop off their child at Nursery. But over the last few months we have realised just how amazing WDN is. The staff are caring, nurturing, and attentive. Any concern we have the staff have gone above and beyond to sort it. We feel very confident in
letting WDN look after our child. Who has enjoyed every day he has attended nursery. When it comes to safety, this nursery is the best we could find in Bucks. I don't think I could ever find a nursery to replace this one. 10/10 from us.

My children attend this nursery and I think it's fantastic. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely care about the children. There are so many brilliant activities and initiatives, and the facilities and outdoor space are excellent. I'm really impressed with the extras like Spanish lessons and
Hartbeeps, and there is a really well thought out, balanced menu to offer the children variety in their meals. Learning opportunities are varied and well planned, and I've really noticed my children developing since starting here. The nursery is clean, well resourced, and management are approachable and pragmatic. Some days do feel quite busy and a bit hectic, but I've never been concerned about staff ratios - the children are always happy and well cared for. There's always room for improvement in any setting, but the staff here are always striving to make things better and are extremely receptive to feedback. I highly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has attended the nursery since June 2021 as a 10 month old and is now preparing to graduate and go to school. We took a risk on Wendover Day Nursery as when we looked around there were no children and it hadn't even opened however the risk paid off. Our daughter has always loved it there
and I know she doesn't want to leave! The staff are fantastic, always friendly and always prepared to give advice if we need it. There is always a range of activities for them to do and they even bring in external activities such as hartbeeps and a spanish teacher so they never get bored. We would 100% recommend Wendover Day Nursery, it is everything we wanted for our daughter's childcare.

My son has attended this nursery for just over two years and has enjoyed every room he's progressed through. From day one, morning drop-offs have been smooth. He has never been reluctant to go inside, and I believe his eagerness is a sign of the quality of the nursery.
The staff deserve real credit.
All are friendly and caring, and whether or not they look after him directly, every member greets him by name. Their genuine warmth reassures us at drop-off time.
Our son is a picky eater, but the food is fresh with varied menus and he seems to enjoy what is served most days. Updates on the app are reassuring throughout the day.
The setting is very clean, yet still bright and fun. Over the two years we've seen continuous improvements and new ideas implemented to keep the environment engaging & refreshed which is a credit to the management.
The nursery combines consistent, traditional care with thoughtful modern touches. We're delighted our son attends and highly recommend it.

Our son has thrived at Wendover Day Nursery thanks to the supportive staff who have encouraged his curiosity and independence.
I was nervous at first sending my son to nursery but I was instantly reassured.
All the staff are incredibly passionate and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere
for all of the children.
The nursery's well-structured curriculum provides a diverse range of stimulating activities that promote holistic development across all areas of learning.
Our loves his Spanish and music classes on a Friday and his arts, crafts, water play and the sand pit which are fabulous to explore new skills and imaginative play.
The staff at Wendover Day Nursery consistently keep us informed about our child's progress through regular updates and open communication channels.

I cannot stress enough how happy we are with Wendover Day Nursery. As a military family we face a lot of turbulence and change in our lives, and we have been wholeheartedly supported by all the staff at the nursery. My daughter adores her time and nursery, and my son, who I was very concerned would
have severe separation anxiety, has settled in exceptionally well. I am also very jealous of the menu selections that the chef cooks fresh daily!

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2023

My name is Jodie, and I am the Nursery Manager at Wendover Day Nursery.


I joined Wendover Day Nursery as Deputy Manager in September 2023 and was delighted to be promoted to Nursery Manager in March 2025.


In addition to my professional role, I am also a parent to a wonderful two-year-old who attends the nursery. This dual perspective allows me to truly understand and appreciate the needs and expectations of parents. It enables me to approach my role with empathy, ensuring that every decision we make is in the best interest of the children and their families.


Starting my career in early years education 8 years ago as an apprentice has given me a strong foundation and a deep, hands-on understanding of every aspect of nursery life, and I am so proud of my team's clear vision that we share for all of our children- to be happy, resilient and thrive every day, no matter their age, background or abilities.
