Wildflower Wendover Day Nursery & Preschool

We absolutely love Wendover Day Nursery. My son has made huge progress since joining in May. The staff are so caring and supportive, and I've been so impressed with the variety of activities and learning opportunities on offer for the children. The nursery is reflective and always keen to improve which is something I regard highly in any educational setting. The extra touches such as, a grab breakfast at reception for parents and special day events like Fathers Day afternoon, are heart warming. It highlights the nurturing culture they have. Keep up the fabulous work.

A fantastic, extremely well managed and supportive nursery.

I would like to give a positive review of the nursery. The staff is truly excellent-you can tell they are very qualified and have a fantastic approach to the children, both as a group and individually. Each child's unique needs are really well addressed. You can see how quickly the children are picking up new skills and how well they are supported. I highly recommend this nursery!

My daughter has been at Wendover Day since June last year, when I went back to work, in all honesty the idea of nursery gave me the ick, snotty noses, germs and she's not with me! But after she enrolled those feelings quickly turned to her making little friends, having experiences I can't give her at home and having food variety, benefitting from all the interactions that nursery offers her! I can see how happy she is there and the care they have for her, ensuring she's wrapped up warm when she's outside and noticing when she's not herself and managing those situations while communicating with me! I look forward to the pictures at the end of everyday and love reading their assessment of her progress! Thank you for making me comfortable with having to leave my baby with someone, we wouldn't want her to go anywhere else now!

My children have been at the nursery since they were 10 months old and are about to go to school in September. They have had the best experience going through all the different rooms at the nursery. They thoroughly enjoy themselves when they go and have developed and progressed so much. The staff are brilliant and really care about the children, I've always found them wanting to work with me as a parent whenever something has cropped up. I honestly recommend here as a great childcare setting.

The activities they do with the children are fantastic and things I simply couldn't offer at home, like messy play, painting and themed days. The regular updates and lovely photos are such a comfort and always show how happy and engaged Hana is. Since starting here, Hana's confidence in social settings has grown tenfold, which has been incredible to see. Vicky, Mel and the rest of the team are all wonderful, warm and supportive. We feel incredibly lucky to have found them!

My children's nursery places were terminated, and soon after I was reported to social services. The case was closed straight away as there were no concerns, but the whole experience was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. I had already made payment and am still waiting for my deposit to be returned. I wouldn't want any parent to go through what I did.

All the staff at Wendover Day Nursery are incredibly welcoming and have really helped my daughter settle in this term. The children are always busy with a variety of activities to stimulate them, and the nursery's outside garden space is beautifully pieced together.

Staff are all so so lovely and fantastic with the babies, my baby hasn't long started but even at 10 months is happily going in and having the best time playing, weaning and learning new skills! Nursery is super clean, communication is great, I really feel comfortable leaving her here as I know I don't have to worry!

Our son has attended Wendover Day Nursery for about 9 months now and as a family we've been really impressed. When selecting a nursery for our son I'd visited over ten different ones and a few days before making a decision, I bumped into a parent whose son already attended and they said I should come for a visit. I was immediately welcomed in by the nursery manager, Jodie and within a few minutes I knew this was the right setting for our son. The staff are always welcoming and enthusiastic and the daily activities on offer are creative and enriching. Our son has struggled with transitions but the nursery has worked with us to support him to improve these. The nursery has the right balance between a warm, welcoming, homely environment but also the professionalism and high standards required to help keep the children safe. They have a great outside space too which is an added bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to other parents.

One of the real stand-out features for us is the communication. The nursery's app is by far the best we've experienced (and we can compare, as we've used a couple of other nurseries due to moving). Every day we get detailed updates about not only our child's routine, but also the activities always accompanied by lots of photos, which we love!

Our child started nursery in January and they have been supported so well, as have we! They love going in which makes it easier for us as parents. The activities and communication from the nursery is great.

My son has been going since he was 8months old and now will go to school in September! it was pretty much new when we joined and the sensory room was a major factor in selecting this nursery as was cooking from fresh on site!

we have always been happy with the staff, despite some movement there are some consistent faces and everyone knows my son by name.

the days are structured, appropriate to the age and development needed. Great out door space, my child comes home muddy and half the sand from the sand pit is in his shoes, but to me that's a sign he has enjoyed his adventures!

I think every parent is concerned the first time they drop off their child at Nursery. But over the last few months we have realised just how amazing WDN is. The staff are caring, nurturing, and attentive. Any concern we have the staff have gone above and beyond to sort it. We feel very confident in letting WDN look after our child. Who has enjoyed every day he has attended nursery. When it comes to safety, this nursery is the best we could find in Bucks. I don't think I could ever find a nursery to replace this one. 10/10 from us.

My children attend this nursery and I think it's fantastic. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely care about the children. There are so many brilliant activities and initiatives, and the facilities and outdoor space are excellent. I'm really impressed with the extras like Spanish lessons and Hartbeeps, and there is a really well thought out, balanced menu to offer the children variety in their meals. Learning opportunities are varied and well planned, and I've really noticed my children developing since starting here. The nursery is clean, well resourced, and management are approachable and pragmatic. Some days do feel quite busy and a bit hectic, but I've never been concerned about staff ratios - the children are always happy and well cared for. There's always room for improvement in any setting, but the staff here are always striving to make things better and are extremely receptive to feedback. I highly recommend this nursery.

When I came to view the nursery, I was so impressed by how well thought out each room was and how clean, bright and homely it felt. My Daughter has been attending for almost 6 months and she loves it. The staff were so supportive when she first transitioned and have been great with easing her into each new room and routine.

Since day one, the manager and all her team were so helpful and friendly. My little boy settled really quickly, and now he enjoys every day going there, and I enjoy seeing the daily updates with photos. I highly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has attended the nursery since June 2021 as a 10 month old and is now preparing to graduate and go to school. We took a risk on Wendover Day Nursery as when we looked around there were no children and it hadn't even opened however the risk paid off. Our daughter has always loved it there and I know she doesn't want to leave! The staff are fantastic, always friendly and always prepared to give advice if we need it. There is always a range of activities for them to do and they even bring in external activities such as hartbeeps and a spanish teacher so they never get bored. We would 100% recommend Wendover Day Nursery, it is everything we wanted for our daughter's childcare.
