Hydra is a fantastic nursery with staff who care and engage well with your children and parents. My daughter attended from 10 months old until she was 4 years old, and she loved going. The preschool room she enjoyed so much that she would ask when she was going everday so she could see her friends and her favourite teachers, Demi, Daisy, Bex, and Laurey. Right from the beginning, I felt satisfied that Hyrda Tots could be trusted to look after my little girl. They are always accommodating to your needs, and I feel I could rely on them to look after my daughter and watch her grow and learn. I would highly recommend this nursery, and although it is slightly more expensive than some others, it is worth every penny.

Excellent nursery! My Son attended age 1 until 4 when leaving for Primary School. He loved going every day, the staff are lovely. Lots of space and great facilities. The level of care and learning is such a high standard. Highly recommend Hydra Tots, could not fault them at all.

My little one has just finished up at Hydratots after being there since April 2022 and I couldn't recommend it enough. It is an incredible nursery with lovely caring management staff that actually know your children's names even though they aren't the ones spending every day with them which I find such a nice touch. My daughter was cared for by a multitude of staff over her years there but I have to give a special mention to two ladies in particular who had my daughter in butterfly room and moved up to preschool with her. They are soooo lovely and just friendly and I know how much they cared for my daughter and helped her nurture relationships. Pick ups and drop offs were my favourite time just because I would see how happy my daughter was to be going there and she made some incredible friends and learnt so much. She was quite a shy girl and her confidence came on leaps and bounds and I owe all of that to the girls at the nursery I know how much they built her up to make her come into her own!!

My child is at Hydratots for almost over a year now, and they are amazing! She loves so much to go there! She started on sunshine, then rainbow and now on butterfly, and we always feel so welcomed! Thank you so much for all the staff and management!

My daughter goes to this nursery once a week. She started attending at a young age and the staff have been absolutely amazing with her! They are so caring and interested in her, she loves going every week. All the activities that they do every week are great and she has really developed well. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. She eats a wide variety of healthy food and the communication between us as parents and staff is excellent.

Really wonderful nursery, would highly recommend. My son has been going here since September 2024 and absolutely loves it. He's made some wonderful friends and loves his key worker lots. Absolutely great Nursery.

My little one joined the nursery in January 2025 after we relocated to Sheffield. The management team was amazing helping securing him a place with the days we needed and the girls in the butterfly room have been absolutely fantastic settling him in and helping him feel at home here. Thank you so much.

Both my children have attended Hydra Tots and love it! The staff are brilliant and I have no issues or concerns leaving my children there. The indoor playframe is a great feature as they can still burn off lots of energy even when the weather is bad. Overall great nursery and I highly recommend.

I can't thank or recommend this nursery enough, the staff are absolutely amazing at their jobs, caring for my children with the best nurture, support and kindness with an amazing attitude to teaching and getting them ready for school, I specifically would love to state how impressed i am with the pre school room and their approach to getting children to be so school ready, it's incredible, when my daughter started school she definitely had all the tools to support her journey in school and it's you i have to thank for that, my son is in his last year here and already i feel like he is definitely school ready aswell, i would also love to point out and appreciate all the cultural and diverse lessons your are teaching to make everyone feel so welcome and seen, i would describe this nursery as outstanding and i recommend it to everyone whom is wanting a child to start their nursery journey Thankyou Hydratots

I couldn't praise Hydratots enough! Both of my children attend here. My son for nearly 3 years and is currently in Pre-School and my daughter since Jan, who has joined one of the baby rooms called the Ladybird room. My son has special needs and the SEND team are absolutely incredible!! I have been supported every step of the way and have just been granted an EHCP which I would not have been able to do without a particular member of staff's specialised and expert knowledge. My son has absolutely thrived since being at Hydratots and every single staff member has been so kind and gentle and adapted to his needs. My daughter is loving her time at hydra! I never have tears upon leaving her and I'm always greeted with big smiles upon picking her up. Her key worker has made my daughter feel so loved and welcomed and I feel safe and happy leaving her there. You can tell Hydra is family run and concentrates on the well-being of the children. I couldn't have picked a better nursery if I tried!

My child has been going here since she was 18months old and it's been an amazing nursery not only for my child but for us parents too! She has developed so much over her time spent there and is becoming such a clever and independent child. I was worried when she first started and how she would settle but every week she really looks forward to going and enjoys telling us what she has been doing at nursery/preschool! Would like to mention 3 members of staff in particular who my child has bonded with so well and talks about them all the time! Special mention for one of the staff members and the efforts she put in with my child! To this day she still remembers her listening ears and still classes daisy as her best friend! Also want to mention how good another member of staff is as she has made my child feel comfortable and safe with her especially when she moved into her new preschool class! Overall a very good nursery!!!!

From a last-minute placement request to my child almost graduating this year, nothing has ever been too much trouble! The nursery goes above and beyond my expectations constantly. They are innovative, caring, with a clean, happy, educational, and fun environment. The staff show genuine care for the children and the employers really care for their staff. This shows with the limited high turn over resulting in consistency for the children. The staff are a pleasure to deal with. They learn about each child's individuality and needs. Management is open to ideas and responsive. They give great options for children with alternative needs such as dairy intolerance to additional learning needs and finding avenues to support parents. 5 members of staff are a few of the brilliant members of staff who have contributed to my little boy being who he is today. Happy, thriving, and clever. Thank you. I won't forget you or what you have done for my wonderful little boy.

Hydra Tots Nursery is amazing with wonderful staff, all my four boys have been to Hydra Tots and they have done so well and learnt everything they should have before starting school as well as making great friendships. I can't recommend this nursery enough Thank you once again for some great years.

Can't thank all the staff at Hydra Tots can't thank you all enough for the service you've provided for our kids, they've both come on so much over their 2 years with you. No issues at drop off and pick up because they feel so comfortable with you all. We will be bringing our third boy in September as well. It's been a positive and safe environment for our boys and would recommend anybody who's looking at nurseries to give Hydra Tots a look you'll only choose one place. Thanks.

Every member of staff is very pleasant and friendly. I have complete trust in them to care for my child and help him through his early years of learning and development. The facilities seem clean and in a suitable state. I feel that the nursery is a very safe place for my child.

The staff are all amazing- from the nursery workers to the office staff/ management, everyone really seems to care so much about the children/parents' wellbeing. The nursery is an exceptional and nurturing place for my 2 children. The eldest has grown so much, both emotionally and in her learning experience. The staff are incredibly polite, dedicated, focused and always have the child’s best interests at heart. I recommend Hydratots as a great place for learning.

I can't praise this nursery enough and I am so grateful my little girl goes here (and soon to be my son.) The nursery have been fantastic at settling my little girl in who was nervous at first but they really worked with her at her pace and she loves to go now! I get brilliant handovers, the staff are great and you can tell everyone that works there truly enjoys what they do! I can't wait for my little boy to start as well.

My little girl has been going here since March 2023, it's an amazing place, my little girl had to move from her previous nursery as they were closing and one of the directors showed us around and is so lovely. My little one found it difficult at first but two members of staff were amazing with her and really can't thank them enough, they have brought her on so much I will be sad when my little one has to leave. It's one big family everyone is great and friendly, make you feel at ease, nothing is a problem they will help in any way they can.

I think Hydra Tots is an outstanding nursery that prides themselves in focusing on each individual child’s needs. The staff are very welcoming and informative regarding what kind of day my child has had and what he has been up to etc. They have also helped my child develop in ways that I didn’t think were even possible, he is so comfortable and happy here. I am so glad that we chose Hydra Tots. I can’t thank them enough, I have and will always recommend this nursery to others. It’s a lovely, happy and clean nursery.
