Finkley East Anton is a purpose-built nursery which opened in April 2021. Located just 15 minutes walk away from the award-winning Finkley Down Farm attraction which they visit regularly. They also have a large garden, this setting provides enriching outdoor experiences for the children to explore. Finkley East Anton also has its own mini bus which they use daily to go on exciting adventures.

Both the indoor and outdoor areas are set up to promote learning through a stimulating environment with engaging activities and experiences.

The setting which caters for children aged 3 months - 5 years has its very own sensory area and soft play.

The setting is very excited to announce that in April 2025 they will be opening a baby room which will cater for children aged from 3 months.

Funding & Fees

Our non funded daily rate is £78.45.
We also accept 15 and 30 hour funding from 9 months, 2, 3 and 4 year olds. Early Breakfast Club from 7.30am is £5 per session, payable in advance

We are approved providers of the early years educational grant for eligible 9-month-olds, 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds, and 4-year-olds. We will provide you with all the necessary information and parent declaration forms to complete as your child becomes eligible. However it is your responsibility to apply for your funding code from the government and renew this as required


Please note that this funding covers education only and does not include additional costs such as sundries, activities, visits, and hot meals. Therefore, an optional daily charge may apply for these extras. Details on this can be provided by the Nursery Manager.

My son has attended Finkley East Anton Nursery since September 2021 and his development has been amazing since he joined. He loves all the staff and has a great relationship with his key worker, all the staff always make you feel very welcome on pick up and collection. In 2023 my family experienced
a difficult time due to medical reasons and all the staff at Finkley were so kind and helpful always asking how things were and offering to help where they could with nursery sessions. All the activities are so creative and all the outings they get to go on are great for the kids.
My son has thrived at Finkley and I can't wait to watch my daughter do the same when she gets to join this great nursery.
Highly recommend.

Me and my daughter love this nursery. They are caring, attentive, patient, and friendly and my daughter couldn’t be happier or talk more highly of her nursery, the fantastic staff and all the amazing activities they get up to. Not to mention the days out they regularly have to places like the farm that
my daughter lives for. She comes home singing songs, telling me about her time with the staff, the yummy lunches she eats and on her days off, she’s always asking me if she can go to nursery.

Myself and my son absolutely love this nursery. My little girl started here from the first day that it opened and has since started school. My son now attends here and has done so for a year. The staff are all really lovely and welcoming, even when drop-offs were difficult at the beginning, they were
a massive help.
My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting here and is desperate to go to nursery every day now. He has so much fun and absolutely adores certain members of staff whom he talks about non-stop.
Well done guys on doing a fantastic job in caring for and teaching my children!

My son recently started at Finkley East Anton Nursery and Pre-School in September 2023 and he has settled in so unbelievably well. All the staff have made the transition so smooth for him and they’ve all taken the time to get to know him so that he feels comfortable.
My son always comes home happy
and can’t wait to tell me all the exciting things he’s done that day. You can tell that all the staff work their hardest to ensure all the children are safe, acknowledged and cared for. They also go out of their way to think of exciting day trips and fun learning activities to keep the children entertained.
For me, this is the best nursery/preschool in the country!

My son started here in January 2023. The staff have always been really lovely and welcoming and have really helped settle my son into the nursery environment. My son has a few favourites that he is always talking about at home! These staff members really do come across like they love being there and
show affection towards him! The activities set out are always engaging and exciting and relates to the children’s interests. They go on walks to the local parks and trips to the farm also, this was one of the main reasons why we chose this nursery in the first place. Very happy with the nursery and all of the fantastic staff for always being so loving towards my boy. The manager is friendly and professional and always on hand to talk to in person or by email, nothing is ever too much trouble for her or any of the staff there! Thank you!

The staff has been incredibly supportive and encouraging throughout the entire process. Given my initial concerns about my nervous child, who had previously struggled to settle, I was a bit apprehensive to start. However, we are gradually making significant progress. My little girl genuinely enjoys
her outings with the nursery and is building strong relationships with both the staff and other children.

I'm very happy with this nursery. The staff offer a friendly, caring approach to looking after my daughter. The daily activities help to develop my daughter's learning as well as lots of free playtime. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

My daughter has been attending since August 2022. The staff there and in particular her keyworker have developed great relationships with her which has helped her to settle. They go on lovely trips out to various places, which really help her to develop her life skills and understanding of the world
around her.

Finkley East Anton Nursery is the best nursery by far. The staff are fantastic, they take time to get to know the parents and communication with us is excellent. They provide so much support to parents with things like potty training etc. They adore my son and his key worker has put in so much effort
to help with his speech and development. My youngest is already registered to join the nursery when he turns two next year. I could not have asked for more from Finkley as they are brilliant, every single staff member including the kitchen staff.

My daughter absolutely loves nursery! This has been a great learning curve for her to become independent and have time away from mummy. The best nursery by far and we shall be sad to leave in august when she leaves to go to school.

My son started Finkley Nursery (East Anton) in September and in only a short space of time he has settled so well and made a bond with his key worker. The staff are all so friendly and supportive and set up great activities for the children to explore and learn. I would definitely recommend Finkley

My child started Finkley East Anton Nursery and Pre-School in September and was worried and quite upset going in but the staff are amazing with him and so patient. I love the updates on the app of what he gets up to during the day and how happy he is when I pick him up.
The staff are always friendly
at the door and are always willing to help.
The activities they put out provide the children with so many different learning experiences!
Cannot wait for him to grow and develop with Finkley.

My nephew has been going to Finkley East Anton Nursery since April 2022. Since then he has come on leaps and bounds, not only in his development but also his confidence. My son is at the stage where he is just about to leave East Anton to go into primary school. He has attended since the nursery opened. We couldn’t have asked for more. He has been to another nursery beforehand and that doesn’t compare to how well run East Anton is. The staff there are lovely and do
anything for my son and he always comes out happy after spending time at the farm, soft play and lovely food in his belly. His key worker has been brilliant and has really helped him enjoy going to nursery and comforts him on an occasional morning when he doesn’t want to leave his mummy. Overall it’s a really good nursery and they do a lot for the children. This year we’ve had a well organised sports day at the farm, graduation day, leavers party with bouncy castle, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day picnics and games. It has really been an entertaining year for my little boy and East Anton has prepared him well to step up into primary school. Thank you all so much!

Our twins were late starting nursery due to health concerns around covid, the nursery knew this and knew that we were all feeling anxious and therefore worked really hard to make us all feel comfortable and happy. It took a while, but with brilliant staff/key workers who are very attentive to the children’s
needs, our girls have grown in confidence, learnt so much and are making great progress! They absolutely love going to Finkley East Anton Nursery and I know they’ll really miss it when they leave! We will be forever grateful for all of the help and support we have received throughout their time there! I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Our son joined the nursery in September 2021 and we were super apprehensive after our daughter had had a bad experience with a different nursery. Our son settled so quickly and doesn’t even say goodbye to us when we drop him off and comes out with the biggest smile on his face at pick up time! The staff
are wonderful, you can tell they truly care about the children and they take the time to let us know all about what our son has been up to. It’ll be sad to say goodbye to them all before he goes to school this September but I’m glad he will have the amazing memories of his lovely time there!

Angela is level 6 qualified and has over 20 years experience working in childcare and has a passion for supporting children and their families.


Angela joined the Finkley family in August 2025. In her spare time she loves spending lots of time outside, growing vegetables and going on long muddy walks with her dog, Charley.

Dani is our SENCo Manager and supports all of our Finkley Nurseries in meeting the needs of all children within our care, Danielle joined the Finkley family in March 2021. Dani is currently working towards her degree in Special Education Needs and Inclusivity.

Jack is a level 3 qualified practitioner who has been working at Finkley since 2021. Jack loves creating amazing tuff trays and creating artistic masterpieces with all of the children.
Jack started with us as an apprentice and worked his way to being qualified, quickly showing everyone what an amazing Daily Lead he would make and started this journey in February 2024.
