Finkley East Anton is a purpose-built nursery which opened in April 2021. Located just 15 minutes walk away from the award-winning Finkley Down Farm attraction which they visit regularly. They also have a large garden, this setting provides enriching outdoor experiences for the children to explore. Finkley East Anton also has its own mini bus which they use daily to go on exciting adventures.

Both the indoor and outdoor areas are set up to promote learning through a stimulating environment with engaging activities and experiences.

The setting which caters for children aged 3 months - 5 years has its very own sensory area and soft play.

The setting is very excited to announce that in April 2025 they will be opening a baby room which will cater for children aged from 3 months.

  • We are approved providers of Hampshire County Council’s free early year’s educational grant for 2, 3 and 4-year olds. This funding is available for all children from the term after their third birthday regardless of family circumstances. We will supply you with all the required information and parent declaration forms for you to complete, as your child reaches the appropriate age.

Absolutely fabulous nursery with such friendly, enthusiastic, kind and caring staff. The nursery has enhanced our grandson's confidence and learning as they provide many stimulating experiences for young children to develop in their own individual way, whether that be within the nursery setting or out
on local trips visiting a variety of places. It's so nice to be able to visit and see our grandson happy, playing and learning when invited to the various activity days the nursery shares with parents, families and carers. I would definitely recommend this Nursery to any prospective parents/carers looking to enrol their child.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The enhanced provisions are excellent with great variation. My daughter has settled so well with the support provided and enjoys going on her assigned days.

This nursery is fantastic, my son absolutely loves going to nursery every day. Always pick him up with him beaming and letting me know the amazing things they have been up to for the day. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble for them. Would 100% recommend this nursery!

We were invited to an open hour for grandparents to see how our granddaughter was doing in her new nursery. We had to travel some distance and didn't know what to expect. Firstly what a fantastic idea to give grandparents an opportunity to see how there grandchildren are doing at school. I have 7 grandchildren
and this is the first time this opportunity has arisen. We had a very warm welcome and a tour of the the nursery and then had an hour to have fun with our granddaughter. There were several activity's to participate in like making Christmas cards, making tree decorations, and making Christmas biscuits along with several sensory tables to play with. We did all of these along with playing in the toy area and reading a book. There were also snacks for everyone. There was only one problem the hour went so quickly as there was so much to do but what a fantastic idea we loved it. The team lead by the Manager were excellent and made us so welcome. Well done to all the team.

I had the privilege of attending a sparkler evening with my daughter for bonfire night at the beginning of November. The nursery staff have always been friendly but it was so nice to see how caring and thoughtful they are towards the children and just how much fun they make it for them. My daughter
and I had a brilliant evening and it was obvious that lots of care and attention had gone into the planning of this event. I was very impressed with how all the children were catered for and included in some way, even if parents had not come to attend the event.
I am very grateful to a nursery where the staff cares for each individual and encourages exploration and learning.

My youngest currently attends Finkley East Anton Nursery and enjoys his day and is settled here. My eldest used to attend nursery with him and they have really helped him transition since she started school in September. Communication is good and I feel I can talk to the staff at any time. Love the
trips the children get to go on, I feel they learn so much from this. Would recommend.

My daughter is due to start in September. We have had nothing but an amazing response and interaction with the nursery. I have rang the nursery a few times and the Deputy Manager is always so happy to speak to me and sort anything out.

The staff are all friendly and I am regularly updated on my son's progress. The way they have supported my son to improve on his speech is laudable. I appreciate how outgoing they can be. Taking the kids to numerous sites like the museum, farm, market, etc. Overall I am very pleased with this nursery.

Finkley East Anton is such a wonderful nursery. The staff are so caring and form amazing bonds with the children. My daughter's confidence has increased massively and has been amazing to watch her grow. I couldn't think of a better nursery for my daughter and couldn't thank the staff enough for helping

We are very happy that our daughter goes to Finkley Down the Farm Nursery East Anton. Every day she goes to nursery happy, satisfied and wondering what the staff will come up with to play today. There is endless fun and learning through play! The staff are very helpful, committed and always provide
good help and care. Every day I bring our daughter to nursery with a clear conscience, knowing that she is safe and happy there. The staff are up to the task and often organize various trips, walks and important events for parents and family members, e.g. Mother's Day, children's Christmas performances. I don't have a favourite teacher. Each of them is wonderful, smiling and happy to talk about the day spent with our daughter. I have full confidence in them, you can see that they do their job with heart. I highly recommend Finkley Down The Farm East Anton Nursery! 5 Stars!

We are extremely happy that we chose Finkley East Anton Nursery. We have been impressed with the level of care, attention and support they have provided not only for our son, but for us as parents. During the past two years, there have been focuses on speech development, his communication skills and
how to support and comfort him, but not once have we felt things were an inconvenience. They provided our son with the tools to help him with certain situations and focused on areas which has helped his development. Using signs, visual boards and supplying us with visuals at home. He loves going to nursery and has bonded so well with his nursery friends, the staff and has a strong bond with his key staff member. We have regular updates via an app and weekly newsletters. They hold events throughout the year, like Play and Stay and hot chocolate for Bonfire’s night, where siblings can come along and feel a part of the community they have built.

From the day my child started at Finkley East Anton everyone has been really supportive and adapted to ensure my child settled in. My child has developed a huge amount since being at Finkley and has become more independent.
All the staff at Finkley have and continue to not only support and guide my
child but also provide guidance and support to us as a family.
My child always comes home happy and telling me about how fun his day has been and what he has learnt.
I couldn’t recommend a nursery anymore.

Finkley East Anton Nursery has been a fantastic setting for both my children. Sending your children here has so many advantages, such as lots of outings, including the farm. I also get regular updates and overall very good communication with all staff. Staff are friendly and responsive with an excellent
disposition to listen and help. I just feel that I am sending my children to a safe and purposeful environment and that means a lot at this early stage of their lives. I would recommend this nursery without any hesitation. If I had another baby they would attend this nursery, no doubt!

I am delighted to give our son's nursery a glowing 5-star review!
The staff is not only caring and supportive but also lovely. Our son is always happy, and we've noticed remarkable progress – he's talking more, singing more and gaining confidence.
He often brings up the nursery staff at home, expressing
how much fun he's having.

The best nursery, so many positive things to say about East Anton. Every member of staff whether you have met them lots of times or the first time are so lovely, so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They help in any way they can whether that be information about something, support at home or
at nursery, helping a child settle the list goes on. Leaving your child/children in a setting is always hard and trusting people with your little one but Finkley East Anton support you and your child, giving them a safe, happy and fun environment for them to grow and learn. They offer lots of exciting opportunities for the children. Lovely nursery and lovely staff.

Amazing nursery - they go above and beyond for our little lad and all the other kids, never had any problems at all, always smiley and friendly staff, we can see the progress and development in our boy when he comes home from nursery with all new words and phrases, his learning is incredible.

My son has attended Finkley East Anton Nursery since September 2021 and his development has been amazing since he joined. He loves all the staff and has a great relationship with his key worker, all the staff always make you feel very welcome on pick up and collection. In 2023 my family experienced
a difficult time due to medical reasons and all the staff at Finkley were so kind and helpful always asking how things were and offering to help where they could with nursery sessions. All the activities are so creative and all the outings they get to go on are great for the kids.
My son has thrived at Finkley and I can't wait to watch my daughter do the same when she gets to join this great nursery.
Highly recommend.

Me and my daughter love this nursery. They are caring, attentive, patient, and friendly and my daughter couldn’t be happier or talk more highly of her nursery, the fantastic staff and all the amazing activities they get up to. Not to mention the days out they regularly have to places like the farm that
my daughter lives for. She comes home singing songs, telling me about her time with the staff, the yummy lunches she eats and on her days off, she’s always asking me if she can go to nursery.

Dani is our SENCo Manager and supports all of our Finkley Nurseries in meeting the needs of all children within our care, Danielle joined the Finkley family in March 2021. Dani is currently working towards her degree in Special Education Needs and Inclusivity.


We asked Dani what her favourite part about working with children is and she said;


"I love seeing the impact that both myself and our wonderful staff have on the children and their future outcomes. I love to get involved and enjoy running both Bucket time and BLAST sessions within all of our settings."

Jack Snell Dunn

Job Title: Daily Lead Joined: 2021

Jack is a level 3 qualified practitioner who has been working at Finkley since 2021. Jack loves creating amazing tuff trays and creating artistic masterpieces with all of the children.
Jack started with us as an apprentice and worked his way to being qualified, quickly showing everyone what an amazing Daily Lead he would make and started this journey in February 2024.
