Godstone Farm Day Nursery & Pre-School

My daughter attends this nursery and it's a lovely place. Love the fact that it's next door to a farm too and my daughter regularly visits with staff and her friends. She has settled in very well and the staff are very attentive and caring. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

Our daughter loved it here. Since joining her confidence has grown and now runs into nursery full of excitement. The staff are so welcoming and make her feel safe. She has started to communicate with us and the nursery has really helped her develop this.

Lovely new nursery. A huge bonus for us is that they get to go to the farm multiple times per week and have a big garden to play in - far bigger than our son's previous nursery. Staff are always welcoming and our child is always very positive and talkative about his days here.

We can't recommend this nursery enough! We are so confident that she is so happy and the staff care so much, it is clear and we couldn't be happier! The individual focus on every child and the amazing, natural facilities are unbeatable! Thanks to the manager and everyone here.

Godstone Farm Day Nursery is everything you want from a nursery. My child is safe and happy and looks forward to coming every day. The facilities are exceptional and to be able to visit the farm during the week is such a pleasant experience.

Great all-round. My little one has made great progress and is very happy to run in at the beginning of the day. She has a great bond with many staff members and is well cared for in every respect. She has food allergies which was an initial concern of mine but I had no need to worry. The nursery has great outdoor space and the direct access to the farm is amazing.

My son has been attending the preschool since it opened and now is leaving for reception. He has had such a wonderful time here and it will be really missed. He has had such a lovely time visiting the farm daily, having fun in the huge garden and getting involved in all the fun activities provided. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and so approachable. I definitely recommend this nursery. The communication is great! We look forward to sending our daughter next year!

As a first-time mum, I was sceptical about sending my son to nursery but honestly had nothing to worry about. We have been welcomed as a family to the nursery, they have a great friendly atmosphere and the staff are amazing, it has been great to see our son flourish here and make friends. The trips to the farm and various outdoor activities really set the nursery steps above others. He is constantly learning new things and is on a great pathway to starting school. His little sister will be joining soon!

We truly love Godstone Farm Day Nursery, our son has thrived in the outdoor/indoor nature-inspired setting. The farm on-site is a huge bonus and they visit every week. The staff are wonderful and supportive, we would highly recommend to any parent.

Amazing nursery and setting. The staff and facilities are enriching for the children. Providing a happy and playful environment for any age. Regular visits to the farm excite them and teach them core values to take forward to school and beyond.

Do not hesitate to book your child in - my only regret is not finding Godstone Farm Nursery sooner.

Our daughter (3-years-old) started at Godstone Farm Day Nursery & Pre School in January 2022. We live a 15-20 minute drive from the nursery so looked at three others prior to visiting Godstone including a school nursery, an “Outstanding” (Ofsted) nursery and a private school, all much nearer to us but none of which compared. The uniqueness of the nursery is based on the farm and the fact the children get to visit the animals every day, the natural play resources and curriculum based on the Curiosity Approach and the deputy manager's professionalism and knowledge of Early Years were the main reasons we chose this nursery. Due to Covid restrictions, we have unfortunately not been able to see the nursery room in operation, however, the nursery seems very keen to build partnerships with parents and put on events such as inviting parents to stay for pancakes and putting on a family Easter event on a Saturday. We are very pleased we picked this nursery for our daughter and so glad we went to view it!

The staff are so welcoming and warm that it’s meant my daughter has felt at home from the minute she walked in. Like any parent, I was apprehensive, as she had attended a previous nursery in 2021 and up until Christmas. I was worried that it being somewhere new and unfamiliar would unsettle her but she has not been phased at all. The fact she gets to go to the farm every day is an absolute winner! The staff’s passion for the children's wellbeing shines through and the whole environment is a happy and healthy one - all a child and parent could wish for in a nursery!

My 3-year-old daughter joined this nursery last September. She'd had some big changes in her life the few months previous so I was concerned about how she'd handle a new setting but she settled really quickly and the staff were so helpful with this. She goes in every day without tears and comes out smiling. I love the fact they go to the farm at least once a day, and not just to see the animals, she always comes home telling me something different she has done at the farm. As a family, we've had a difficult few months and I cannot thank the nursery enough for making this transition to preschool as smooth as possible. She has learnt so much, tried new foods, made lots of friends and has grown up a lot and I'm so grateful for their support in this. Highly recommend.

My 10-month-old daughter has just started in the baby room at the nursery and the team have been amazing. My child suffers from multiple allergies and skin problems and they have gone out of their way to accommodate her needs and make me feel reassured and at ease. From day one the team have been friendly, approachable and always make you feel welcome. The manager makes a point of speaking to all the parents and getting to know them and their children. Every day the activities provided are exciting and new and I love that their ethos encourages natural and outdoor play, the fact they get a farm visit every day is just brilliant. I cannot thank the team enough for making my daughter so welcome and providing such amazing care. I highly recommend Godstone Farm Day Nursery and Pre-school and could not imagine choosing any other child care setting for my family.

We send our son to Godstone Farm Day Nursery and he absolutely loves it! We couldn’t be happier with our experience there. He has been there since just after it opened and was originally in the Baby Room, having recently moved to the Toddler Room. As soon as he started there he seemed to feel right at home and is always so happy to go there in the morning and beaming whenever we collect him. He has also developed a lot in the time he has been there and we feel the staff really take time to concentrate on developing the children in the best way possible. All the staff we have dealt with are lovely, friendly and professional. The rooms are amazing, especially the outdoor areas with so much for the children to do. They visit the farm most days (sometimes twice a day!) and our son loves seeing the animals and talks about his visits a lot. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery to others and are so pleased that we moved our son there.
