Godstone Farm Day Nursery & Pre-School

My children absolutely love nursery and everything they have to offer. We've all created great relationships with the staff and the management are always very helpful. We get such a warm welcome and thorough handover after every visit, everything is tailored to be personal as much as possible to each child who can we love. I worked here before having my children and I'd never considered anywhere else for my babies to be taken care of. The trips to the farm are the highlight of my children's time there and the staff work so hard to ensure every need is met. Excited to join in the extra events the nursery run through the rest of this year!

It is such a great opportunity to be able to send my child to Godstone Farm nursery. She is on the farm, feeding, looking after and learning about the animals every week. Not only that but she also gets to play on the farm play area and go on the dinosaur trail. Without fail she goes to play outside every day which she loves, especially riding the bikes and playing in the sand. In addition to all of these physical and extra curricular activities, my daughter is being taught numeracy and literacy skills, learning about themed topics each week and always being read to. The only niggle I have is that staff handovers aren't always great. It's either rushed, or from a staff member who wasn't with my child that day. There has also been a noticeable lack of photos and updates on the parents group which is a shame because it's lovely to see what they're up to. Despite this, staff are all so welcoming and my daughter is pleased to see them all when I drop her off which is lovely

Thank you all! Our nearly 3 year old daughter has been attending Godstone Farm Day Nursery since we moved home around 8 months ago and my husband, daughter and I all couldn't be more pleased! It is not the closest nursery to us but we chose it following visiting several around our local area, and feeling that Godstone stood out as a place which focused on developing curious and creative toddlers, who enjoy being outdoors (with a very large garden and farm visits), getting messy, having fun and nurturing independence. We felt this was where she would thrive. Over the past year, my daughter has developed wonderfully. She is eager to attend and comes home proud to show us the artwork she has created or the newborn piglets she has seen or friends she has played with. The staff are skilled, friendly and warm with both children and parents. Her key worker and room leader are both brilliant at their jobs and caring and we feel blessed to have them. A lovely nursery with staff who my daughter has developed genuine bonds with, she runs to press the button at drop-offs and excitedly tells me about her day at pick-ups. With the unique aspect of farm visits and a huge outdoor area, I feel this is a special place, which gives her the kind of experience of a home-from-home. She has allergies and the staff are always on top of her well-being, thank you Godstone Farm Day Nursery!

The staff are great and approachable, and are accommodating to parents as well as the children which includes dietary and medical needs. Management is amazing and on the ball. I can see developments with my toddler in the way he speaks and acts so I know the interactions and engagement are positive and consistent with the staff. Highly recommend.

We're so pleased she is at Godstone Farm and confident it's the best nursery we could have found for her. And for those days when working parent guilt creeps in, knowing she is so happy, cared for and developing so well makes it so much easier!

My son has attended Godstone Farm Day Nursery since he was 9 months old he is now 2 and a half. I have not one single complaint all the staff are friendly welcome and always willing to help. They know every child so well and generally really care about each one! My son loves going to the nursery, the range of activities arts and crafts, going to the farm outdoor play and many more all aid child development so well and are always new things that my son loves doing.

Our daughter has been attending Godstone Farm Day Nursery for the past 18 months and has developed wonderfully. She runs to the door every morning and loves being able to get messy and creative with hands-on play and has made lots of wonderful friends. The daily farm visits are a real highlight and we are delighted with the variety of meals offered and the team are always on hand to help with enquiries with a swift response. A special highlight to the care of the team when our daughter developed RSV earlier this year. The team spotted the signs, acted fast and cared for our daughter until we could arrive. We will always be thankful to the team for this. I would recommend any parent looking for a great team and their child to thrive in a safe and creative environment to choose Godstone Farm Day Nursery.

My eldest has been with the nursery since she was just about 1 year old and my youngest joined when 6 months old. Throughout the years the nursery has gone from strength to strength and is amazing at looking after little people. The staff are always happy to go the extra mile, conscious of my children's continued development and also great for tips on behaviours in and outside of their nursery time. I personally would recommend placing your little ones here as they blossom in the environment around them. From great meals, playtimes, activities and events - both my children are thriving under the care of this nursery.

All in all, an excellent Nursery where children get to play, make friends, develop relationships and start their learning journey. Highly Recommended.

The nursery's support during my daughter's autism diagnosis proved invaluable. Unlike previous experiences, the deputy manager played a crucial role in navigating this challenging process. Her professionalism and guidance significantly smoothed the journey. I appreciate the nursery's commitment to understanding and addressing the unique needs of my child. Given their excellence, we decided to enrol our boy as well, and since six months ago, he has been in the baby room. He is progressing magnificently, thanks to the baby room staff, especially the nursery lady.

A fantastic team. There’s a wide range of experience levels at Godstone Farm Day Nursery. Some staff have their own children, others have great experience over the years and some new staff with less experience are all eager to learn. All of them contribute so much overall. The staff have been so kind to our little one, providing closer care and cuddles when those days arrive. Equally encouraging them to become more independent too. They follow a fixed protocol when little ones are unwell to look after their well-being. The staff are patient with us as parents and provide a level of support I didn't expect. They have supported our decisions with nap changes, learning objectives and our baby's milk needs etc. A really lovely group of people who make time for handovers even when they have busier days. The facilities are good and going to the Farm is a special bonus. The arts and crafts they do is brilliant. We like the variety of food served and it's helped our baby's appetite.

My son started the nursery in October 2022, the nursery put me at ease as a first-time Mum and I found the updates on the app really reassuring. The staff are friendly and have genuine care for my son.

Our little girl has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Godstone Farm Nursery. She has food allergies plus some other health needs and they take excellent care of her. All the staff seem happy and genuinely interested in our daughter.

Our daughter has the best time at Godstone Farm Nursery and has developed so much even from coming just two days a week. All of the staff are amazing and genuinely care for the kids. Our daughter's key worker puts so much time and effort into her care it's so reassuring and lovely to see. Thank you to you all!

Our eighteen-month-old goes to Godstone Farm Day Nursery and loves it. The staff are caring and the children seem really happy. We are so pleased to have found somewhere that encourages the children to be outside and that offers them the opportunity to go to the farm regularly. We have recommended the nursery to all our friends.

Great environment for babies. My fifteen-month twins love coming to nursery. They get so excited when they see the entrance. They have developed and learnt so much since they started attending. Best decision to have them come to this nursery.

Our daughter has flourished since joining Godstone Farm Day Nursery. She tells me all about her day and is so happy to get to nursery each morning. Since joining her speech has improved so much and her confidence has grown. Cannot recommend more to any new parents looking for the best care for their child.

Both of our children have settled in so quickly and happily, they are happy to be held and comforted by staff and they seem very happy and well cared for at collection time. They love the regular visits to the farm and the open access to the garden to play outside when they choose to.
