Little Wellies Day Nursery Idle

Fantastic nursery, my daughter is thriving. The provision is always well organised and I love seeing pictures of my little one engaging and having fun. The staff are lovely, my little one has a wonderful bond with her key workers. They always provide thorough feedback during pick-up. As a parent, it's comforting to have an overview of what their day has been like when they've been at nursery all day.

Our daughter has attended Little Wellies in Idle since she was 9 months old. Watching her develop into a 16-month-old who walks, talks and interacts with people is amazing and none of it would have happened so fast without the amazing team at Little Wellies. They are very supportive and look after her so well, she knows all their names and buzzes with excitement at the mention of nursery. The staff are fantastic at communicating with me, they address any concerns and highlight my daughter's progress. I can't sing their praises highly enough.

Very happy with Little Wellies, the staff, and the environment are brilliant for my little boy. The staff are so reassuring and let me call multiple times a day to check on my son as I was a nervous parent leaving him for the first time. Since he started he has gained so much confidence, he no longer cries at drop-offs and is always excited when he goes. Little Wellies was the first nursery I viewed and I knew from then that this nursery would be the one for my little boy. Can’t fault the nursery or the staff I’m very happy with my choice of nursery.

Lovely place for my kids. Love the fact that parents can attend at any time and have access to the rooms. Always happy to see my kids playing, happy and carefree when I pick them up. I appreciate the folder they keep on children, activities and their development. Gives me peace of mind that they have the right care.

Little Wellies Nursery is an amazing place for children to play, learn and have fun. My two children have been going here for almost three years, they have learnt a lot and their confidence has grown massively. The staff and management are fantastic and have got to know my children very well. My children used to be very shy and would often get very upset leaving their parents (us) but the nursery has ensured they are welcomed each time they arrive and made them feel at ease. I especially like the outdoor facilities and the fact they get fresh air every day. The nursery are always exploring options to continuously improve in both facilities and learning, even taking the children on outdoor trips which my children have been very excited about. I would highly recommend this nursery to others, and have full confidence in the staff and care of my children here.

Little Wellies Day Nursery is an amazing nursery. Since my daughter started there a year ago, she has developed so much. The staff always go the extra mile for you and children are always happy. I always get a full handover when I collect my child and the staff are so approachable if I have any concerns. I know my little girl will miss nursery when she leaves in September but I would highly recommend this nursery to friends and family as it is the best, in my opinion.

All the staff are so lovely and make even myself feel welcome. My son has multiple allergies and are always doing the best for him and catering to his needs. My son has come on so much since being at Little Wellies Day Nursery. I would recommend it to anyone!

My little one always has the best time at nursery, he always comes back so excited about what he's done that day and he loves all the staff there. They've worked wonders with him and he loves being there.

All the staff have been amazing with both my daughter and my son. My son has additional needs and the management team has been extremely supportive and cooperative in working with us to strive for the best results for him. Little Wellies Idle is a brilliant day nursery. Our son absolutely thrives there and I love to see his little face light up when he sees his one-to-one practitioner. Overall all the staff are brilliant and really helpful with anything you need. Thanks.

All staff are super friendly and approachable. They make dropping off easier when one of the child is upset. Handovers are always informative. Lovely staff. Setting has lots of resources and challenges children daily as well as working on their strengths.

My son started nursery in September and he has settled so well and his development has improved so much! He loves attending and always looks forward to going to nursery! The nursery staff have been brilliant with him! Couldn’t fault them one bit!

A lovely nursery with a family-friendly atmosphere. My son runs in every day excited to spend time with his friends and engage in different activities. We love how much outdoor provision there is, and that the staff make the effort to take the children out of the setting when feasible (local woods, idle park, etc.)

Little Wellies is fantastic. My son has been there just over a month now and he is enjoying every minute. The transition process was very child-focused and all staff members really took the time to get to know us as a family and what our little boy needed to settle. Staff really know him well and it makes me feel so assured as a parent that I am leaving him somewhere he feels happy. My little boy loves it. He does so many activities, I particularly love the focus on messy play and outdoor play. I would recommend to anyone in the local area.
