Little Wellies is a family owned and run nursery offering high quality childcare between Bradford and Leeds. Set in a beautiful detached stone building close to Idle village centre, it is easily accessible but set back from the main road.

Children have access to a wealth of resources, a vast amount of outside space and a wonderful interactive sensory room. They ensure that children are captivated and engrossed in their learning through beautiful, authentic resources and skilful interactions by practitioners. You will see few “toys” at Little Wellies, after all why use a plastic “play” tea set when a real ceramic one is much more enticing!

My daughter has been attending Little Wellies since August 2020. I have seen huge improvements with her development and can see how much she loves going to nursery. The staff at the Idle setting are fabulous. Any enquiries are always handled efficiently and promptly.
I am really impressed with the
setting as a whole, from the outdoor woodland space to the fantastic natural theme indoors. Little Wellies is a fantastic setting and I would recommend families in the local area. A very happy family feel setting.

We love Little Wellies! Our little boy runs in smiling every morning and comes home extremely happy and shattered from his fun day. The staff are so caring and have a genuine interest in his development and happiness. The activities that they plan and do daily with the children are fantastic and we
constantly receive artwork and models home for our fridge. The outside space and displays are very well thought through and child friendly. We have recently had our son’s learning journey home and it made me cry! The photos, attention to detail and the little things are so lovely. It is like the memory book I wish I had of made. The communication is excellent and we have daily updates on the closed Facebook group with photos and videos showing us snippets of daily life. If you are thinking about sending your child to this nursery - genuinely do it! We are so so glad we have chosen Little Wellies. They feel like our new family!

As a first time Foster family, we have been so pleased with all the accommodating Little Wellies and all staff have done for us. We love the layout of the nursery and all the outdoor play the children get to enjoy. Thank you for all your help and support over the last 9 months.

We have been really impressed with everyone at Little Wellies from the beginning. The activities and opportunities that are available are amazing. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and supportive. I have already recommended this nursery and will continue to do so.
