Little Wellies Day Nursery Idle

Cannot be happier with Little Wellies Day Nursery and all they have done. My little boy has thrived and is continuing to do so. The staff are lovely and approachable. Management are great. Cannot fault it. My son loves going and has done from day dot! Can’t wait for him to continue going over the years and see how much he comes on.

Such a lovely nursery! The team and facilities are amazing! My daughter loves it and always has the best time. I know she is in the best hands. The staff are friendly and caring. It’s lovely to see pictures of what they have been doing.

What an absolutely amazing group of people who welcomed my little girl for just one term when her first nursery closed after summer. Every member of the team are so friendly and helpful and heartwarming. My little girl was difficult to leave at first but has settled amazing thanks to the support and overwhelming support from everyone at Little Wellies. They communicate with excellence and I'm proud my little girl has been a part of this wonderful nursery even if she's leaving soon.

My daughter has been attending Little Wellies for almost a year now. There are days when she's so excited to go, and days when she's apprehensive. Regardless the staff are always on hand to help settle her or share in her excitement. I love how they encourage independence here, from hanging up their coats etc to serving their own meals and clearing away. The only thing I would like to see would be some kind of app or interactive communication for updates throughout the nursery day.

Our daughter has attended Little Wellies for a year now and we couldn't be happier with it. She comes back every day full of stories about what she has done and all the friends she is making along the way.

Our child is coming to the end of his first full term at Little Wellies and we are so happy with the term he has had. He is looked after by a great team of ladies who always have his best interests at heart and do all they can to help him feel settled and safe. The team are so caring and even though he struggles to say goodbye, we know he will settle quickly enough to enjoy his breakfast and have a great day ahead. We love seeing pictures of our son's day and hearing about the lovely things he has done at pick-up time. Having tried a different nursery previously, we cannot recommend Little Wellies enough and are so pleased we chose Little Wellies for our child's nursery education.

The progress our two-year-old has made since joining Little Wellies in September is amazing. After a few weeks, he had a bit of a 'wobble' and became quite anxious about attending. The support that both he and we, as parents, received from the staff at the time was fantastic, and he has now come through it and now he bounds in and out of the door with a huge smile on his face. He lights up when he talks about the staff at home, and I don't think you can ask for much more than that.

An absolutely delightful nursery. After relocating my 2-year-old daughter (to a nursery closer to home), it was an easy pick. From the first look around, Little Wellies was warm and welcoming. The manager is knowledgeable and it is clear he has a passion and a real interest in the education of the children at Little Wellies. The care and attention to ensuring my daughter felt comfortable and settled, allowed for a smooth transition. Little Wellies has a great outdoor space, which was a real positive for me and my family. Activities and provisions are varied, child-centred and age-appropriate. Key workers are friendly, caring and enthusiastic. They show a genuine interest in your child and their progression.

I could not fault Little Wellies, I won't leave my daughter with many people but I wholeheartedly trust everyone at Little Wellies. You can genuinely see how much they love, respect and care for every child. The enthusiasm at the end of the day when they give you an update as to what they've been up to, what they've done new/accomplished is so lovely to see. I would always recommend Little Wellies to anyone who wants a loving space for their child.

I can't recommend Little Wellies enough! My daughter had a hard time separating, to begin with, and all of the staff were amazing welcoming her in each morning and settling her. She has learnt and developed so much since joining Little wellies. She has built friendships and so much confidence both socially and physically. Each member of staff has taken the time to get to know her and they are great at letting you know what she has done at the end of each day! She absolutely loves the outdoor space in which they spend a lot of time. Oh and the food is a hit too, she loves mushrooms and veg sticks now! From a parent's perspective, I have been really impressed with the communication and with how prompt they are with responding to emails etc too!

Our daughter settled in straight away, is super happy to attend Little Wellies and tells us all the amazing things she has been doing. The staff make it feel like you are part of the family. They are warm, chatty and welcoming. They take time to get to know each of the children and spend quality time developing skills all whilst having lots of fun. The activities are fun, enabling and engaging. We would recommend Little Wellies to everyone.

There are so many opportunities for growth and development and these are documented beautifully in their record books.

Little Wellies Idle are absolutely amazing, they are so attentive and they treat the children like it’s their own which is exactly what I wanted. It’s got a lovely family feel to it, they are so accommodating and nothing is ever too much to ask.

Wonderful staff. Very supportive. Happy to send my child there. Initially, my son was not settling there but everyone helped me. Now he is very happy there. I get feedback on daily basis. The nursery also has social media page to upload pictures, which is amazing to see what children are doing there.

Little Wellies Idle is a fantastic nursery. The staff are professional, friendly and accommodating and go above and beyond for the children in their care. Our daughter absolutely loves nursery and speaks about the staff like they are an extension of her family. She has certainly grown in confidence and independence during her time and we can see how much she learns there. The admin team and managers are also brilliant, dealing with queries and concerns with professionalism and care. We cannot recommend the team at Little Wellies highly enough!

Little Wellies Day Nursery - is absolutely fantastic. They have given and are still giving so much support and help for me and my child with special needs I could not recommend and thank them enough for what they have done!

My daughter has attended for a year now and we are looking forward to another year with Little Wellies, I cannot recommend them enough. 5 star!

The outdoor space and time the children spend there is great. Playing, learning and using their imagination. They even have some guinea pigs and involve the children in taking care of them. The food is lovely and home-cooked, some with their own grown fruit and vegetables. We love seeing daily updates and pictures on the closed Facebook group and the app with development updates and notes from the staff is so lovely too. Our little boy absolutely loves Little Wellies Day Nursery Idle and so do we.

The amount of outings they go on is amazing and always lovely to see.

Little Wellies has proven to be an excellent nursery, both for our child and us as parents. The staff are welcoming and professional; communication is always clear and consistent; there is a genuine warmth and fondness shown to the children. We have looked around at other providers and spent some time elsewhere. However, Little Wellies feels like a perfect fit for us!
