Little Wellies is a family owned and run nursery offering high quality childcare between Bradford and Leeds. Set in a beautiful detached stone building close to Idle village centre, it is easily accessible but set back from the main road.

Children have access to a wealth of resources, a vast amount of outside space and a wonderful interactive sensory room. They ensure that children are captivated and engrossed in their learning through beautiful, authentic resources and skilful interactions by practitioners. You will see few “toys” at Little Wellies, after all why use a plastic “play” tea set when a real ceramic one is much more enticing!

Our little one loves his days at Little Wellies and will leave us with a smile each day, excited to start the day ahead. Knowing how much fun he has helps so much when going to work and we thank everyone at Little Wellies for all the hard work they put in to make each day special.

Fantastic nursery, my daughter is thriving. The provision is always well organised and I love seeing pictures of my little one engaging and having fun. Our daughter has attended Little Wellies in Idle since she was 9 months old. Watching her develop into a 16-month-old who walks, talks and interacts with people is amazing and none of it would have happened so fast without the amazing team at Little Wellies. They are very supportive and look after her
so well, she knows all their names and buzzes with excitement at the mention of nursery. The staff are fantastic at communicating with me, they address any concerns and highlight my daughter's progress. I can't sing their praises highly enough.

Little Wellies is absolutely amazing, my little girl thrives so much from going, she loves it! It's such a warm, friendly environment and I believe that's one of the most important things for parents. The activities held at nursery are amazing and things you wouldn't always do at home, it gives them
so much opportunity to learn different things. So happy with our choice of nursery, the return to work felt smooth knowing my little girl was been looked after by the most amazing staff who always go above and beyond. I can't recommend Little Wellies enough. They're great.

Very happy with Little Wellies, the staff, and the environment are brilliant for my little boy. The staff are so reassuring and let me call multiple times a day to check on my son as I was a nervous parent leaving him for the first time. Since he started he has gained so much confidence, he no longer
cries at drop-offs and is always excited when he goes. Little Wellies was the first nursery I viewed and I knew from then that this nursery would be the one for my little boy. Can’t fault the nursery or the staff I’m very happy with my choice of nursery.

My son started here at the end of last year. The settling-in process was amazing. He really loves it here. Amazing facilities and outside space. The staff are always very welcoming, professional and caring.

Lovely place for my kids. Love the fact that parents can attend at any time and have access to the rooms. Always happy to see my kids playing, happy and carefree when I pick them up. Little Wellies Nursery is an amazing place for children to play, learn and have fun. My two children have been going here for almost three years, they have learnt a lot and their confidence has grown massively. The staff and management are fantastic and have got to know my children very well. My children
used to be very shy and would often get very upset leaving their parents (us) but the nursery has ensured they are welcomed each time they arrive and made them feel at ease. I especially like the outdoor facilities and the fact they get fresh air every day. The nursery are always exploring options to continuously improve in both facilities and learning, even taking the children on outdoor trips which my children have been very excited about. I would highly recommend this nursery to others, and have full confidence in the staff and care of my children here.

Little Wellies Day Nursery is an amazing nursery. Since my daughter started there a year ago, she has developed so much. The staff always go the extra mile for you and children are always happy. I always get a full handover when I collect my child and the staff are so approachable if I have any concerns.
I know my little girl will miss nursery when she leaves in September but I would highly recommend this nursery to friends and family as it is the best, in my opinion.

All the staff are so lovely and make even myself feel welcome. My son has multiple allergies and are always doing the best for him and catering to his needs. My son has come on so much since being at Little Wellies Day Nursery. I would recommend it to anyone!

All the staff have been amazing with both my daughter and my son. My son has additional needs and the management team has been extremely supportive and cooperative in working with us to strive for the best results for him. My daughter has attended Little Wellies in Idle for a number of years now, and we are extremely pleased that we chose this setting for her. Not only do they provide a safe, secure and caring environment for my child to thrive socially and emotionally, but they also plan and prepare a fantastic range
of fun and engaging play-based experiences which have enabled my child to develop academically too. The staff at Little Wellies are just wonderful. They show so much care for my daughter, and they all do their best to make her smile each and every day - what more could you possibly want?

All staff are super friendly and approachable. They make dropping off easier when one of the child is upset. Handovers are always informative. Lovely staff. Setting has lots of resources and challenges children daily as well as working on their strengths.

I currently have a child in Little Wellies Day Nursery Idle and he thoroughly enjoys his time at nursery. He takes part in a range of activities and particularly enjoys the outdoor area. He has a good relationship with the staff and they are extremely welcoming when he attends. I sometimes collect my
child with his older sibling who used to attend, the staff always chat with him and seem genuinely interested in how he’s getting on a school.
I would recommend this nursery to family and friends.

We have been blown away by this nursery. Our son loves being here - we have never had a day he hasn’t wanted to run through the door. I genuinely believe that this setting has helped him become such a confident, clever and independent little boy.
The staff have worked with us through difficult behaviour
phases and toilet training and I can’t thank them enough! I recommend Little Wellies to everyone who asks and we are still so happy that we chose this nursery.

My son loves going to nursery, they really care for the children. I would and have recommended this nursery.
They have football sessions, wood walks and days at the park.
I also like that they have a hairdresser that comes in every 6 weeks.

Amazing staff, go above and beyond for my little boy! He loves nursery so much, he does so many different activities and they get them outside as much as possible all year round! He loves the food, the menu is really varied and he eats everything! Highly recommend!
