Little Wellies is a family owned and run nursery offering high quality childcare between Bradford and Leeds. Set in a beautiful detached stone building close to Idle village centre, it is easily accessible but set back from the main road.

Children have access to a wealth of resources, a vast amount of outside space and a wonderful interactive sensory room. They ensure that children are captivated and engrossed in their learning through beautiful, authentic resources and skilful interactions by practitioners. You will see few “toys” at Little Wellies, after all why use a plastic “play” tea set when a real ceramic one is much more enticing!

My little boy has been at little wellies now for almost a year and it was the best decision I made. As soon as we walked round to view the place, we just got the best feeling from all the staff. They really genuinely care about each child and that's all you want as a mum. My son feels safe, had loads
of fun and is learning each day. Thank you little wellies for all you have done so far.

I was really nervous sending my little boy to nursery as he has SEN needs and I was unfamiliar with the setting as I hadn't sent my older child there. Working in the teaching industry myself I have always been hyper-critical when it comes to choosing a setting for my children and for the families I
work with. I have been overwhelmed by the care, love, and support both my son and myself have received. My son has settled into Little Wellies better than I could ever have hoped.
We are greeted at every session with a smile and a welcome greeting by all the staff. The senior leadership team has gone above and beyond to ensure my son is getting the right care put in place for his needs and I am assured every day when I see the big smile on his face when I see him.
They have a holistic approach to the childcare they give and personalise the learning for each child in the setting. My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting and I am truly grateful for all their continued hard work.

We really couldn't think of anywhere else we'd rather send our child than Little Wellies. Our child loves going to nursery and is always excited to go to see his friends. The staff are really attentive to our child's needs and have helped to settle them in the big move out of the baby room into toddlers!

Our youngest little boy started in August and has settled so well. He loves going to nursery in a morning, and goes running straight in! He is benefitting so much from all the creative activities arranged by the wonderful staff that he'd never get to do at home. He has developed so much in a short space
of time, and they even get him to eat foods he won't touch at home! We know he is having a great time, and would definitely recommend.

My daughter joined and was very quiet and low in confidence. Now however she is completely different, oozing in confidence and coming on so much in terms of speech. Couldn't recommend enough, my daughter absolutely loves coming to nursery.

A great nursery, staff are amazing with the children. Grounds and facilities are very good. Regular updates via social media, email newsletters. Child handover at end of the day is very informative, always fully aware of my little one's amazing adventures throughout the day.

My daughter really enjoys going to Little Wellies. The staff are so caring - every time I drop my daughter off I know she is in safe hands. I am also always greeted with a smile on drop-offs and pickups. Since going to this nursery, my daughter has grown in confidence, and has started to be more adventurous
at meal times. She has made some lovely friendships with other children. Thank you to all the staff for being so caring and lovely!

The staff at Little Wellies have been amazing with my son; from baby room, to toddler room. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting there last year. He is growing in confidence every day. The sensory room is brilliant and enjoyed by my son. Thank you all at Little Wellies.

My little boy absolutely loves Little Wellies! The activities, environment and staff are wonderful. They often go on trips to explore the local area as well as exploring further afield on the bus to Saltaire and on a day trip to Shipley Glen. Which my little boy absolutely loved and always talks about.
He's very happy there and has formed lots of lovely relationships.

Absolutely amazing staff, my daughter absolutely loves it, now we both feel so welcome, very informative, kind and caring, glad I chose the nursery now - she was a bit touchy and wouldn't settle at first but after 2-3weeks she started going in alone. My daughter can relay every one of the staff's names
and her friends and can count up to 10, she's only 2, she's singing full nursery songs, she has progressed so much in the last 3 and a bit months she's been attending there, also the attention and changed they have made due to my daughter's suspected allergies have been amazing, so helpful understanding and caring, working together to form a better diet for my daughter to see what works best while at nursery, they have gone above and beyond in my eyes, thank you girls you are all amazing!

Little Wellies Idle is an absolutely fantastic nursery. My little one has been going since he was 7 months and is now 15 months. The staff are what makes the nursery and they have been absolutely outstanding when it comes to care, thoughtfulness and making sure that our little ones are happy. Our little
one has come along so much since joining and we genuinely believe it's down to the care and attention taken by all the staff involved. A brilliant care setting and would have no problems recommending it.

Our daughter has attended Little Wellies in Idle since she was 9 months old. Watching her develop into a 16-month-old who walks, talks and interacts with people is amazing and none of it would have happened so fast without the amazing team at Little Wellies. They are very supportive and look after her
so well, she knows all their names and buzzes with excitement at the mention of nursery. The staff are fantastic at communicating with me, they address any concerns and highlight my daughter's progress. I can't sing their praises highly enough.

Very happy with Little Wellies, the staff, and the environment are brilliant for my little boy. The staff are so reassuring and let me call multiple times a day to check on my son as I was a nervous parent leaving him for the first time. Since he started he has gained so much confidence, he no longer
cries at drop-offs and is always excited when he goes. Little Wellies was the first nursery I viewed and I knew from then that this nursery would be the one for my little boy. Can’t fault the nursery or the staff I’m very happy with my choice of nursery.

Little Wellies Nursery is an amazing place for children to play, learn and have fun. My two children have been going here for almost three years, they have learnt a lot and their confidence has grown massively. The staff and management are fantastic and have got to know my children very well. My children
used to be very shy and would often get very upset leaving their parents (us) but the nursery has ensured they are welcomed each time they arrive and made them feel at ease. I especially like the outdoor facilities and the fact they get fresh air every day. The nursery are always exploring options to continuously improve in both facilities and learning, even taking the children on outdoor trips which my children have been very excited about. I would highly recommend this nursery to others, and have full confidence in the staff and care of my children here.

Little Wellies Day Nursery is an amazing nursery. Since my daughter started there a year ago, she has developed so much. The staff always go the extra mile for you and children are always happy. I always get a full handover when I collect my child and the staff are so approachable if I have any concerns.
I know my little girl will miss nursery when she leaves in September but I would highly recommend this nursery to friends and family as it is the best, in my opinion.

All the staff are so lovely and make even myself feel welcome. My son has multiple allergies and are always doing the best for him and catering to his needs. My son has come on so much since being at Little Wellies Day Nursery. I would recommend it to anyone!
