Puddleducks Nursery North Finchley

When I first put my daughter at the daycare at the age of 10 months. It started well with the original staff taking good care of my child. After the takeover of the new managers in November of 2021, the care has been going downhill. She was often sent with dirty diapers, no communication on what she did or ate at the daycare, and no constant carer at all. Even though there are good directors and a few good staff, the communication was really poor from the current manager. We as parents were told that an assigned carer was sick and hence could not take care, but no alternative arrangements were made. None of the above was communicated. What started as a good experience, turned out to be bad, and never recommend it again.

On top of all of this, they sent me an extra invoice which wasn't due to my given notice, trying to get an advantage from me. I strongly believe that this management team should be more attentive to customers' needs. Very disappointed.

The quality of management has declined drastically once the new managers have taken over. They don’t respect parents and their difficulties, they are very argumentative and just want to prove they know everything. They say policies for everything and there have been numerous occasions where they have not adhered to them. They don’t even have a proper escalation process. After sending my daughter to this nursery for a long time I would not recommend it anymore after the new nursing managers have taken over. I hope directors take notice and act on it. After showing their mistakes they sent my daughter with dirty nappies and a soiled dress. I don’t feel safe to send my daughter anymore. I should say there are a couple of staff who are good as well but overall, not a very safe place.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for nine months. I’m very disappointed how they leave the children with my child with a dirty face and wet clothes. I will never recommend this nursery to parents. The staff are not helpful and very rude.

Very nice nursery. My son enjoyed his time there, learned a lot with fun and made friends. Very happy to see him always coming out with big smiles when I pick him up. Staff always communicated with the parents about the details of how the child was being. And parents can follow up the child's activities and developments on an app with vivid photos, videos and teachers' comments.

Great staff with loving relationships with the children. They have detailed knowledge of the children in the nursery. They have been so great and understanding during my daughter's settling in sessions.

I’m very happy with Puddleducks nursery, the staff is helpful and friendly, they’re helping me with my daughter settling. They take care of kids and all of their needs. The environment is excellent. Very appreciative of the communication between staff and parents with Tapestry.

I am very happy with the nursery I chose for my son. I have seen a huge development on my child since he started. The staff is very caring and passionate with what they do. I would definitely recommend it to all my friends and family.
