Maggie's Nursery

Maggie's Day Nursery and Forest School is a very special place. We have seen our son flourish at nursery; he genuinely loves his time there. He is very happy and confident at nursery and is making strong friendships with other children and has a great relationship with staff. Everyone in the team is passionate about ensuring children have the best and most enjoyable learning experience. They maintain strong communication with us as parents and create a welcoming environment for everyone. The nursery has an amazing range of toys and learning materials. Our son loves being outside and the nursery has large grounds for outdoor play. The Forest School is exceptional.

Our experience with Children's 1st has been really good from day 1. All the staff are friendly and have built positive relationships with our son. His development has come along leaps and bounds and I cannot thank the team enough for providing a safe space for him to learn and grow into his personality more whilst he is in their care.

Ever since our son started at Maggie's in July, we have had nothing but positive experiences. All staff truly care about the children and this is so evident through the way they look after them, the nursery itself and the provision they provide. Communication with parents is effective and clear. The staff have always been incredibly helpful and go above and beyond, every day. Our son settled in really quickly and loves going to nursery. We would recommend Maggie's to everyone!

My daughter has been at Maggie's since September 2023. I knew the moment I went to view the setting that it would be the one to support my daughter in flourishing into a little girl. As a teacher myself, when I saw the nursery in action and the activities and establishment that they had set up was second to none. My daughter has come on in leaps and bounds and to see her excel in her development, primarily thanks to those at Maggie's, is so wonderful. Her daily achievements and developmental milestones are continuously being achieved. The staff throughout the establishment are warm, welcoming and loving and seeing her grow as she has progressed through the different rooms is amazing. I honestly recommend the nursery to every mother and expectant mother I know and I will continue to use the establishment for my future children which I am hopeful for. Thank you all, you're worth your weight in gold.

Both of my boys attend Maggie's. They are so happy and so eager to arrive every morning. The eldest gets a real variety of activities from forest school to the creative and cookery rooms. The youngest is so confident, he just walks into the room and doesn't look back!

My 2 girls attend the nursery 2 days a week and they love it and always enjoy going. The facilities available to them are amazing and the setting is beautiful. The staff are outstanding, lovely and professional and they work so hard every day.

I haven't had any issues but I feel if I did I would be listened to.

Our child loves nursery and is always happy to arrive and this is due to the amazing staff you have, who always make my little one feel special and loved. Listening to staff talk about my child is great as it is clear they know them and have a lovely relationship with them, where my child feels safe, loved and cherished. Two members of staff, in particular, are incredible and have gone the extra mile to support our little one and are, as a family, always there to listen and to give advice and support where needed. We love it that much there that we booked our second child in and secured a place before she was born.

I feel very settled when I drop our daughter off here at the nursery. She is happy to attend and they communicate extremely well with us. It's a beautiful nursery with excellent and caring staff and I couldn't recommend it any higher than what I have. I only wish I had sent my other child here a few years ago.

My daughter has been at Children 1st since she was 9 months old and has really come on leaps and bounds since attending. The staff are all very friendly and highly trained and my daughter seems to come home learning something new every time she attends. The facilities are great and very secure and you get lots of information about their day when I pick my child up. Would highly recommend this nursery.

My son is eager to attend nursery and runs in happily daily. He talks about all the various activities he gets to do throughout the week which is impressive. He builds key skills such as phonics, fire safety in the forest and knife skills by cutting his own food. Accidents are recorded appropriately and staff are professional and understanding of you as a parent entrusting them with your children.

The facilities are amazing, which makes me feel less guilty for having to leave him while I work since I know he’s genuinely having so much fun learning and exploring.
