I have been looking for a nursery for my daughter age 3 during the summer holidays, I've been looking around but I wanted a nursery that could change her experience of learning. I was pleased to meet the management team. They've been so helpful and they contacted me with so much kindness. I'm so satisfied with the nursery.

Bishop Challoner's nursery and preschool came highly recommended to us, even so, my husband and I have been amazed by the exceptionally high level of care, expertise and professionalism of the entire nursery team. Despite all the restrictions, the Nursery Leader and the Admissions Team were able to provide a reassuringly thorough transition for our daughter. Thanks to their fantastic remote communication tool, my daughter was able to know what to expect and who would be teaching and caring for her. The team have been incredibly welcoming and my daughter did not even look back on her first day! With regular progress and achievement updates including photos and videos, I am completely certain we could not have chosen a better place for our daughter. She is just so happy and always looks forward to going in each day. A huge thanks to the teachers for the peace of mind we have in the knowledge that our little one is in very good hands.

My son started this year September 2020 and within days he settled well. He is so much interested to go to nursery. Great nursery with excellent staff. I couldn't ask for better nursery for my daughter. All the staff are so caring, loving and kind and the small environment makes my daughter feel at home and secure. So pleased with Bishop Challoner School nursery, great place for little ones to learn and grow.

Bishop Challoner School nursery has been a very welcoming place and what better feedback than my child asking when she’s going back to nursery and telling me all about her friends and teachers! Also, there’s a well-framed communication system between the parents and the staff which makes us feel more supported. Staff members are very warm to children and one can feel they have years of experience with this very specific and demanding age. My child is happy, I am happy so I am sure the nursery staff are doing an amazing job!

My son has recently joined Bishop Challoner (September) and I am very pleased with how well he has settled in and how professional all the staff members are. Staff are always at hand to deal with any concerns and I find their response times very quick which is very much appreciated. I also like the fact that tapestry is very well utilized by the nursery to keep parents updated on their child's progress on a daily basis. This helps further nurture what they are being taught. The nursery staff focus attention on various skills and explains via tapestry what skills are enhanced by doing a particular activity.

My daughter has thrived at Bishop Challoner Nursery. She has enjoyed every minute of her time there as a result of the management achieving the perfect balance between a structured approach and being very caring. The staff really get to know and care for the children and encourage them to achieve their potential. Parents receive good quality and comprehensive written, verbal and online feedback and reports which demonstrate their expertise in understanding and developing the children. Throughout the pandemic, great quality activities were suggested for the children to complete every day. Following the initial lockdown, the nursery opened as soon as it was allowed and seemed to manage within the new constraints with ease, demonstrating their professionalism, planning and adaptability.

A very nurturing environment with dedicated staff members. My son was extremely happy here at Bishop Challoner nursery and it gave him an excellent start to his schooling journey. The manager does an excellent job with an energetic enthusiasm that my son responded too very well. A wonderful nursery! Would absolutely recommend!

I truly believe Bishops Challoner Nursery is the best in the area. It has surprised every single one of my expectations and is light years ahead of my daughter's previous day nursery. My daughter started at Bishop Challoner Nursery just before her third birthday, she attended full time for two years. She loved every one of the staff and they had a great rapport with her. There is a great family feel to the nursery and a seamless home-nursery working together attitude. Staff take time to learn about their charges and understand each child's personality and individual needs. There are daily and weekly routines as well as a wide variety of activities and learning opportunities. Older children enjoy the excitement of attending forest school weekly and spending time with the Reception class. Independence and a can-do attitude are encouraged from the start. I feel my daughter has been given all of the tools and support necessary to prepare her mentally and physically for Reception. The nursery embraced remote learning during lockdown; as a parent, I felt very supported and my child still felt very much part of Bishop Challoner and her learning continued. I highly recommend Bishop Challoner.

Unfortunately, my daughter was able to attend only for a few months because of covid-19. It's amazing how much she has learned in such a short time. The teachers were exceptional, considerating also the fact that my daughter when she started, spoke mainly Italian. Thank you so much for everything.
