Toddletown Day Nursery is a newly-refurbished, conveniently-located setting near Godalming Town Centre and Farncombe train station with an approach that lets children learn through play, follow their interests while using natural resources.

All staff are highly motivated and well qualified to create a stimulating environment for all children, ensuring they at all stages grow and develop to reach their potential.

The nursery works closely with parents to involve them as much as possible in their children's development. Open 51 weeks of the year, the nursery is committed to meet the needs of parents as well as their children.

In July 2024, Toddletown Day Nursery was acquired by Happy Days Nurseries & Pre-Schools—an exciting development that strengthens their shared commitment to delivering high-quality early years education.

Such a lovely caring nursery with great staff who are always doing fun and educational activities with the children. The facilities they have are great especially the garden. Every evening we get an update via the app of what the children have been doing along with photos, as well as regular individual
updates in line with EYFS. Unlike other nurseries we have experienced, the nursery is managed extremely well, very well organised and they have handled everything around covid very well. Would highly recommend Toddletown!

Since starting in September, both my children settled in straight away. Friendly and inviting staff across the rooms. Great communication at the end of each day and both children's development has come on further than I thought possible in such a short period of time, with great 1:1 attention from their
carers to nurture their individual interests.

Our two sons (3 & 1) started at Toddletown in early 2020 and we are very happy with our choice of nursery. It's clear that they both enjoy their days at nursery and are given a varied range of experiences. The staff are all extremely friendly and professional and the personal touches show they genuinely
care about their jobs and the children they look after. We would certainly recommend the nursery without hesitation!

My son started at Toddletown in January and has loved it from the very beginning. The care he is shown by the staff at Toddletown has been second to none. The staff develop fantastic relationships with the children in their care, and this is evident in the few minutes I spend there dropping off and
picking up. The environment that has been created is one of familiarity and yet open to discovery too. There is a very creative, imaginative flow to the nursery, where each child has the chance to discover more about the wider world with the different types of 'play' items that are available for them to play with. The food has been great and my son's special diet is managed very well - he is given the same food as the other, but with different ingredients, which goes a long way to making him feel as though he isn't missing out on anything! The use of the parent app is fantastic too - simple, informative and gives me an excellent insight into my son's day. Could not recommend Toddletown enough!

The first week at Toddletown for my 2 boys after moving from another nursery and I have 2 very excited happy little boys (who were happy before but this is another level!). The warmth and family feel of Toddletown has made them settle incredibly well. Like they have been going for years. The staff are
super helpful especially when I am juggling with coats/bags and I am really impressed with the nursery. The fun, care and contentment is felt as soon as you walk through the door. Highly recommend!

We are absolutely delighted with Toddletown. Our son has been attending since it opened and has settled amazingly well.
The team are incredibly attentive, compassionate and enthusiastic. We cannot fault them.
The setting is superb, with a brilliant garden and loads of creative and fun opportunities
to play and learn.
Thank you Toddletown, we know this is the start of an amazing adventure and are so pleased to be part of it.

Toddletown is a great nursery. When my son first started he was 9 months old. The welcoming process was fantastic and I felt at ease leaving him at Toddletown, knowing he would have a great time with the friendly staff. It already feels like a family!

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2019

I have worked in the early year sector since gaining my qualification 16 years ago and beginning my career in a local nursery. I wanted to see a little bit more of the world, so took off to explore some of Europe while working for the holiday company Mark Warner.


Having worked several seasons in Greece and finally, in Egypt, I met my husband and welcomed my first son. With my son starting school I joined another local nursery and progressed to Room Leader.


I love that in my job, no day is the same; one day you could be an explorer in the Amazon jungle, and the next you could be covered in gloop investigating the world of letters and numbers.
