Toddletown Day Nursery is a newly-refurbished, conveniently-located setting near Godalming Town Centre and Farncombe train station with an approach that lets children learn through play, follow their interests while using natural resources.

All staff are highly motivated and well qualified to create a stimulating environment for all children, ensuring they at all stages grow and develop to reach their potential.

The nursery works closely with parents to involve them as much as possible in their children's development. Open 51 weeks of the year, the nursery is committed to meet the needs of parents as well as their children.

In July 2024, Toddletown Day Nursery was acquired by Happy Days Nurseries & Pre-Schools—an exciting development that strengthens their shared commitment to delivering high-quality early years education.

Toddletown Nursery is a happy and nurturing space in which we feel confident our two children can thrive. The team have taken great care to get to know our daughter very well meaning they can instinctively respond to her likes and needs. We receive updates on her progress and activities that demonstrate
what a wonderful experience she has while she's at nursery. Feel very lucky to have both children enrolled in such a fantastic nursery nearby.

My son has been at Toddletown for 18 months now and is very happy there. The nursery offers a caring and nurturing environment in which the children can explore new skills through play. The team are exceptionally hard working; they have supported him through his developmental milestones and the result
is that we've seen his learning come on in leaps and bounds. The nursery uses an app to log meals, toilet visits and sleep, meaning we feel informed about what our son has been up to during the day. It is easy to communicate with the team via the app too; any issues we have raised with them have been swiftly addressed, so we feel confident that our son is being well looked after.
The nursery is quite small and given their long waiting list, could probably double in size and still not have enough places. The outdoor space is also quite restrictive, but they do their best to use this space effectively.

Our son has been in Toddletown since he was 12 months. The level of care, kindness and child-led philosophy from Toddletown has helped our son to grow in confidence and to learn how to be independent and resilient. Whenever we have concerns or queries, we will always get a listening ear and sound advice
on how to deal with a situation. They will work with the child's primary carers to ensure consistent support given at home and at nursery. I am grateful to Toddletown for the investment in the care they give to our son and his friends. I would highly recommend Toddletown.

Signing up to Toddletown has been one of the best decisions we have ever made! Our little girl started at just over 8 months old and is thriving. Mondays and Thursdays are clearly her favourite days of the week! The team work incredibly hard. Their posts on the app detailing the day's activities are
fantastic - something I look forward to looking at with my little girl, at the end of the day. She breezes in, in the morning and walks out with a smile on her face at the end of the day - what more could a parent ask for?

Our daughter, now nearly three, was at Toddletown since she was 11 months old and absolutely thrived there. We recently moved out of the area, which is our only reason for moving out of Toddletown. For us, the biggest factor is the incredible, warm, caring and loving staff who put their all into their
work every single day. Our daughter made amazing bonds with the staff and kids alike, which during a pandemic was a huge source of comfort. Our daughter grew in confidence from the second she started. Toddletown supported us through various transitions such as moving house and nursery with such thought and care. Due to this, she has made a confident start to her new nursery, but of course, speaks very highly of blue home. Thank you Toddletown, you are amazing!

We absolutely love Toddletown Day Nursery. Our little boy has been there since May 2021 and has loved every moment. He is so excited to go every morning and comes back a happy child that has been well looked after and enjoyed lots of amazing activities - truly a home away from home. The care provided
by the staff is phenomenal and we cannot fault them with anything. Definitely highly recommended!

Five stars for Toddletown! We could not be happier with our decision to send our daughter to Toddletown. She started at 2 years old after a year at another nursery and the difference in her confidence and happiness is incredible. We have seen our little toddler flourish into a settled and confident
preschooler with the excellent guidance and love from the staff at Toddletown. The other children all share in this joy as seen in the daily updates we receive via the app with a really thorough and interesting summary of their day including photos. As a parent, our interactions with all of the staff are positive and informative and they always go above and beyond to answer questions or talk through anything that arises.

We’ve been so pleased that we found Toddletown Nursery. Both our children attend and our eldest has been there since March 2020. They both really enjoy it and are excited to go in each morning, where they receive such a warm welcome from all the staff. We’ve been so impressed with the staff who seem
so motivated and really get to know the kids. There are always new activities and themes each day that seem varied and exciting. We like that they maximise the amount of time spent doing activities outdoors. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Our daughter has been loving Toddletown since she started in spring 2020 and the place has completely blown us away. When we were moving to the area we were looking for a place that was caring, inclusive and stimulated creativity and Toddletown has far exceeded our expectations on all those counts and
more. The staff have handled the covid situ so well and always communicate with us clearly and give lots of cuddles when she has been unwell there. I’ve also loved how much of our daughter’s personality the staff recognise and inject into updates on her progress. And now she is in preschool they are really conscious of encouraging her friendships, confidence and uniqueness. In terms of creativity, she’s v stimulated and looks forward to the nursery. The activities are out of this world. Really exploratory, and based on the kids’ interests. And as for inclusivity, the kids learn about all kinds of differences. No tick box stuff, it’s all based on the cultures etc of the kids. Just love it!

My son started when the nursery first opened and I cannot sing their praises enough! Their support and care throughout the pandemic has been exemplary, going above and beyond in all aspects. My son loves his key worker and all the staff. He has flourished with his relationships and confidence in an
environment that challenges and supports him educationally and pastorally. The activities that the staff create for the children are tailored to individual interests and my son will always talk with respect, about what his friends love! They also ensure inclusivity and diversity, holding high values and morals. The staff ensure the children learn about all cultures and the world around them, it makes me so incredibly proud that my son is in a place giving him such a good start. As this was my first child I was quite anxious about her starting nursery. She has been attending since she was 16 months old and I have seen such a development in her now that she is nearly 3. She talks non stop about the children and staff and what she has done that day. She is happy when I got to
collect her and the staff take the time to tell me what she has been doing. The daily updates on the app have been great, especially during the pandemic and the staff always call me or message me if they have any concerns or listen to mine if I have any. They also take the time to understand each child and the stages they are going through, recommending books or things that could help. I am totally reassured when she is there and I can tell she is happy to be there too.

Our son has been at Toddletown for 18 months and he could not be happier. He walks into nursery each morning brimming with confidence and excitement for the day ahead and returns chatting away about the day's events, which are wide and diverse. We are thrilled by the progress he is making in pre-school
and he surprises us daily with his newly acquired knowledge and skills. The staff, other children and parents are all lovely too which is the icing on the cake. We chose to move him to Toddletown from another local nursery and it has been a fabulous decision. We highly recommend it.

The most incredible team that make you feel like you are part of a family. The staff are attentive, cheerful and kind. Although it’s smaller than most nurseries in the area, the facilities are amazing and have been incredibly well thought out. I couldn’t recommend this place enough for a baby/child.

We have been thrilled with the care our daughter has received at Toddletown. She is always so happy and excited to go to nursery in the morning and has built such a special relationship with her key person which is so lovely. We couldn't be happier with our experience of Toddletown. Our little girl started at 8 months old and from day one, the team have gone over and above to ensure she settled in well and enjoys her time there. Having just started a new nursery, I felt compelled to leave a review for Toddletown as we've noticed such a huge contrast between the level of care and interest shown to our son in the new nursery, compared to Toddletown. Thankfully his new nursery is child, rather than financially led. He is excited
to go to nursery now and tells us all about the things he has been doing. Management is open, flexible and friendly which could not be said about Toddletown.

My daughter started Toddletown in April 2021. Before she started, we didn’t get to look around, due to covid restrictions. As parents, we were very worried about sending our daughter to a nursery we hadn’t even seen, but the staff at Toddletown answered all our questions and quickly made us feel we
had made the right choice! Our daughter has thrived at Toddletown and is very excited each time she goes! She happily goes in the door (often forgetting to even say goodbye)! The staff are all very caring and friendly, my daughter often talks about the staff and her friends at Toddletown with great joy! The free flow system allowing children to choose between being inside or outside is great and I love that the children are outside in all weathers! The open-ended learning with natural and authentic materials is brilliant for imaginative play and something I encourage at home! The daily updates of what the children have done and the photos really makes my day!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, Toddletown is an amazing nursery. Safeguarding has been faultless and the entire team has been incredibly supportive of not just our child, but Mum and Dad as well. All of the staff are always happy and full of energy and they always know exactly how to handle
whatever mood our child decides they are in when they arrive. By home time, our child is always happy and full of fun and stories of the day. Communication with parents is brilliant, you know everything they are doing through the parents' app and there are regular update emails. They have also managed the challenges of covid amazingly well. The facilities for the children are excellent and every member of staff compliments the nursery. As you can tell, I highly recommend Toddletown to anyone, if you're lucky enough to get a place, you won't regret it for a second!

Our son has loved Toddletown from day one and so have we. This is our first experience with a nursery and from the moment I went for the nursery tour before we picked one, they stood out from the others by a mile. It feels homely and welcoming and not like a nursery at all and it is evident the staff
care a lot and put a lot of effort into everything. They allow the children to explore real-life objects, have a lot of natural material toys, do tons of messy play and have a lovely garden. Our son develops so many skills every week and clearly loves it there. We could not be happier.

I have worked in the early year sector since gaining my qualification 16 years ago and beginning my career in a local nursery. I wanted to see a little bit more of the world, so took off to explore some of Europe while working for the holiday company Mark Warner.


Having worked several seasons in Greece and finally, in Egypt, I met my husband and welcomed my first son. With my son starting school I joined another local nursery and progressed to Room Leader.


I love that in my job, no day is the same; one day you could be an explorer in the Amazon jungle, and the next you could be covered in gloop investigating the world of letters and numbers.
