Meadowside Preschool

Both my Son and Daughter attend Meadowside Nursery and also attend the breakfast club. All the staff there are amazing and there are particularly 3 who stand out. They have all made both my son and daughter feel welcome and they put a lot of effort into creating fun activities, making cakes is one of my daughter's favourites! We are always welcomed with smiles when dropping the children off, which makes us as parents feel at ease and know our children are in safe, capable hands. Both my children have come on leaps and bounds from attending this nursery. A big thank you to all the staff. It is definitely a nursery I would recommend to any parents.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Great range of activities on offer. My children always look forward to attending. Would recommend Meadowside to other parents who are looking for a safe, secure, and happy environment for their children.

Honestly, where do I begin. This nursery is outstanding, from the moment my son started this nursery they have never failed to cater to his needs. Every single person who works in this nursery is so lovely and genuinely caring towards the children and parents. I've had worries about my son's abilities and the staff have listened to my concerns and done their own work themselves, helping me and my son progress with his support that he needs and will continue to need in the future. They really know how to do their job properly, every time I see them in action they are always doing fun educational activities with the children and it's so nice to see the children enjoying themselves whilst learning at the same time. Such a lovely little setting, my son enjoys every moment here and gets upset to leave! He has come a long way in a short amount of time! I couldn't recommend this nursery enough, to anyone considering Meadowside from one parent to another, go for it. You will not be disappointed!

My son is very happy at Meadowside. The staff are fantastic with him and arrange multiple activities to support his development each day. I'm particularly pleased with the communication about him and enjoy seeing what he's been up to in the daily photo updates. There's outdoor space during wet weather and the children have use of an expansive outdoor area when it's dry. Both my children have had positive experiences at Meadowside. It's inclusive and caring and I would strongly recommend it to others.

My child attended this nursery and the second child is due to start soon. Just wanted to take the time to leave a great review as the staff there are amazing. Very talented and suitable for their roles. I am not supposed to mention any names but I hope this is recorded just how pleased we were with their attitude and work in general. One very happy and lovely nursery worker stood out in particular. The staff made the transition to nursery and school environment for my son so much easier and he's had his challenges.

Both my daughters have attended Meadowside Preschool and I am so happy that we chose to send them there. It’s a lovely, friendly preschool. The team are wonderful and put so much effort into making the children’s time here special and fun. I really like how much time the children spend doing activities outside and exploring their local surroundings and community. This really makes Meadowside stand out. My daughter (and I) love Meadowside Preschool. The staff are so friendly and have really made her feel welcome and helped her blossom. The setting is really lovely, with free access to the playing field and loads of outdoor activities like mud kitchens and raised beds to grow things in. The children are involved in lots of activities such as football and baking. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Our twins currently attend Meadowside Preschool and really enjoy it. The team were really welcoming and they settled straight away, and have loved every day there. The outdoor space is lovely with large garden and countryside nearby. The team do a large variety of different activities with the children and post lots of pictures for the parents which is nice, and they also do football coaching sessions. Couldn’t recommend Meadowside highly enough.

She has made friends with children she wouldn't otherwise have met and the staff are incredible making sure my daughter is always happy and well cared for!

Our daughter loves going to Meadowside Preschool breakfast club. She wakes up most mornings asking if it is the day to go to breakfast club. The staff are amazing. Our daughter would love to go to the breakfast club every day if she could.

Staff are friendly and attentive and really show care and develop individual relationships with the children. The environment is gentle and relaxed and with brilliant facilities, including the playing field and lovely nearby countryside. They are very helpful and communicative to parents and all in all it is a delightful experience to send my daughter here. Thank you!

We could not be happier with Meadowside as a childcare setting. The whole team are warm and friendly, and our daughter loves going. The daily updates are informative, and the team are so quick to respond to any questions you might have. The indoor and outdoor space is great, and the additional activities like football are wonderful. The children are supported so well in their learning through play, and our daughter has thrived there.

My daughter loves Meadowside Preschool, and so do I. They have so much outdoor space, and they definitely make use of it. They have football coaches, who visit every week - taking advantage of the playing field. They go on walks through the village - across the field and to the shops, post office and bakery for real-life experiences. We get an update of what the children have been doing every day, with photos and how it relates to their education. They respond really quickly to messages sent via their app. The staff are really lovely and handle the kids brilliantly. I am so glad I moved my daughter here. We also use the after-school tea club for both our girls, one of which, has SEND needs, and they handle her brilliantly. I can't thank them enough.

We have a long relationship with Medowside having both our son and daughter there over the last few years. We could not be happier with the team, the building and just how happy our kids have been. The team have responded to the needs of our children brilliantly and have a keen child-centred focus, feedback is well formulated and regular and outcomes are strong. Our kids see Medowside as a safe and happy place to be and full credit to the team for making it so.

Meadowside Preschool is a brilliant and caring pre school where the staff really go above and beyond. Lots of child-led activities by the staff who really make the effort to understand and work with your child. Added bonus of having specialist run football and forest school each week. Can’t fault it. My children are very happy there.

We couldn't have chosen a better preschool for our daughter, the staff are caring and kind and they did everything to help our daughter settle in and make sure she was happy. The management is also excellent, with great communication with parents. They have lovely outdoor and indoor facilities and they always follow the interest of the children to enhance their curiosity and learning whilst making sure they have fun. We would definitely recommend it to any other parents. Thank you for the great work you do!

They spend time outside in the fresh air and go on walks regularly, really making use of the rural surroundings. They regularly update you on your child's progress and are nurturing if they need additional support. I've been really happy since she joined over a year ago.

Meadowside Preschool was recommended to me by a family friend and I couldn’t be more pleased with the support and guidance that they have provided my son. The incredible team at Meadowside Preschool are so hands on and I love hearing about all of the activities that they undertake. If I ever have any queries the team are very approachable. My son has been at Meadowside Preschool since he was two and a half and will go to the infant school attached in September. It is amazing to see the development and changes in the last two years. My son has recognised his name from an early age with thanks to one member of staff and her team. It still amazes me how high he can count at such a young age, plus the interpersonal skills taught and about the world around them have been priceless. We will miss you in September!
