Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Lyde Green

A really lovely nursery, friendly staff who are also so welcoming. My son always comes out happy and says he’s had a great day. The outdoor area has lots of play equipment to play with and a large open space. We have never had any issues and most importantly my son settled in quickly and always happy to go back.

Our daughter started at Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Lyde Green last year. She settled in very quickly and absolutely loves her time there. She has made new friends and loves seeing them. The staff are fantastic, nothing is ever too much trouble and they are always willing to help. I would definitely recommend Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Lyde Green. It’s such a lovely nursery.

I can’t fault Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Lyde Green, my daughter loves her time there and asks to go on her days at home! I was concerned about how well she would settle as she started during the pandemic and had previously been used to a smaller setting at a childminders but I needn’t have worried. The staff have settled her in brilliantly and my daughter often talks about them at home. The food is great and she eats so well whilst at nursery. As a parent everything is made easy and I don’t have to worry!

Our two year old daughter joined Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Lyde Green in July 2020 and has since absolutely thrived. She practically runs into the nursery in the mornings and skips out in the evenings, which is so nice to see as well as being very reassuring. Our daughter loves telling us all about her day and the friends she’s played with. Our daughters key worker is amazing and we couldn’t be happier with her. She always takes her time to tell us what our daughter has been doing during the day and seems to genuinely care for her which makes us incredibly happy. Love it, love, love it and so does my son. He always comes home so happy and loves arriving in the morning. He is learning so much every week. Everything is so clean and safe. The outside play area is his favourite place.

Our four year old son started at Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Lyde Green in 2020 after being with a childminder for three years. All of my worries and anxieties about transitioning to preschool were immediately settled when we walked into Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Lyde Green. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, my son adores going and has learnt so much since he has started. Pre-school is the highlight of his week. We are so happy with the care at Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Lyde Green that we have taken our nineteen month old out of childminding and put her into Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Lyde Green as well. She starts next week and we can’t wait. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and taking such good care of our children it makes going to work a lot easier when you know they are in good hands. Highly recommend this setting.

I have two children currently attending the nursery. A four-year-old and a one-year-old who attend four days a week, nine hours a day. I couldn't be happier with the setting. They both love the place and are excited to go there every morning, the moment the door opens they rush inside and don't look back. They both really needed some social interactions with other kids their age after the pandemic and this crazy year and they both are doing great, learning, playing, enjoying and making friends. The team is really caring and provide daily reports with the meals of the day and how much the kids have eaten, how many nappies were changed or accidents had and the activities and games that the kids have been involved with. They also do bi-monthly calls to discuss the children progress and raise any concern the parent may have. Overall, I'm absolutely delighted with the nursery and the staff. From the carers who my children are really fond of, the manager, who is an absolute star and the cook who prepares delicious meals that I couldn't make them eat at home.

We are very happy with how our son is looked after and cared for. He is always doing interesting things and you get a report card each day. It's kept very clean and is well organised. Our son really enjoys all the food and we feel that it is a great environment for him with great modern facilities. The staff are always welcoming and professional and caring.

We were nervous with our son starting nursery, especially given the circumstances around COVID. However, we have been really impressed with everything so far, and our son has loved it. Our son's key-carer is great, and is really approachable for any questions or queries. Since being at nursery we feel he has come on massively with how mobile he now is and his communication skills.

The staff are also lovely and friendly and my daughter especially talks about one member of staff in particular.

Happy Days has been absolutely fantastic for our child. Staff are always welcoming and friendly, from office to classroom to kitchen. All staff are interested in the children and pleased to see them. My son's keyworker has gone above and beyond to ensure he settled and greets him every day with a smile. Communication is great, we see photo's and have a record daily. The nursery is always clean and toys and resources are inspiring no cheap plastic.

My son bounds in every morning and comes out grinning proudly holding his latest creation. I couldn’t be happier with Happy Days. Great team who genuinely care about children and put them first always.

All of the staff, but her assigned carer, in particular, show such genuine affection for her and it makes the day so much easier knowing how happy she is there. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
