My child has attended Happy Days at Lyde Green for the last 2 years. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time there and is just beginning the transition to the school programme. He has a great relationship with his key worker and all the adults he sees. His favourite part is their outside space, forest school
and the water tray. He has learnt so much in the last 2 years, we couldn't be happier with the care and support he has received.

I have been blown away by the nursery. They have supported us fantastically right from the initial transition and continue to be amazing.
My child is always greeted with big smiles and open arms each morning, the team always make him feel welcome and excitedly encourage him into nursery. This makes
mornings so much easier and happier for both me and my child.
As a parent, it is invaluable to feel confident and trusting of the team caring for your child. The nursery has gone above and beyond in supporting our family and care so much about children's well-being. The manager is brilliant and cares deeply about ensuring children and families are happy and thriving.
The activities provided are exciting, engaging and creative! The team go the extra mile with providing fantastic experiences for the children! Including local walks!

Our daughter has been so happy at Happy Days (Lyde Green) since she joined in September when she was 10 months. She settled there very quickly and absolutely loves going. The staff have always been so supportive and positive, and take real trouble to do fun, interactive and creative activities with
the children. The rooms are very clean, with lots of space for the children to play. My daughter has been very happy here and loves the staff.

My son moved to this nursery as it was easier for me and his dad for work. The nursery made him so welcome on his visits and when he started his three full days a week. The adventurer's staff are so accommodating to my son through his transition and he is happier than ever. He settled really quickly
and made loads of new friends and even bonded with all the staff in both adventurer's rooms. He comes home all the time talking about nursery. If we visit over by the nursery his face lights up and he says "my nursery".

My daughter started at Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Lyde Green in October and has settled in amazingly thanks to the fantastic staff. Everyone has been wonderful in their approach, not only to my daughter but also myself and my husband. The feedback that we receive daily is lovely, and staff are

My daughter has such a special relationship with the wonderful staff at Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Lyde Green. She has been attending since the age of 9 months, now at just 2 she looks forward to going to nursery, the environment is safe, educating and loving for her. All the things I could wish
for whilst I am at work and she is in child care. I cannot fault the professionalism and friendliness of the team.
Both my children have attended happy days, my son and daughter, my son attended a different setting prior to happy days, often he was unsettled and unwilling to attend. Once he started happy days he was such a different child, confident and happy, I have no regrets taking him out of his first nursery and placing him with happy days, he flourished heaps and loved every moment at happy days.

My 1 year old recently started nursery and the staff was extremely welcoming and lovely throughout the settling in period. The room settings are very cosy with lovely educational toys and outside play area. Even though we are still at the very beginning of our nursery journey, my little one already
feels very comfortable around the nurses, and they even managed to put him down for decent amount of sleep.

My daughter has been going to the nursery for a few months now, she has settled in so well! I was anxious about how she would be and if she would like it but the staff were great, put my mind at ease and made my daughter very welcome. She is so excited to go to nursery now she beams every day when she

As with many other parents, we were nervous about our daughter starting nursery at a year old as she had spent most of her life in lockdown!
I was able to visit the nursery and stay for a 1-hour settling in session and it put my mind at ease. The children in Explorers seemed happy, the staff were friendly
and engaged and the facilities are great!
She has now been there for 4 months and she loves it! We get daily updates on her sleep, nappy changes, food and activities. We have already had a long phone call from her key person about her progress in nursery and how they are working on areas of her development.
It’s so lovely to see her becoming more confident, the staff are so lovely and they get her to go to sleep for naps (which is a miracle)!
The children get plenty of outside time if they want and the toys and games are really thoughtful and allow lots of open-ended play.

My daughter has loved her time at Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Lyde Green. In my opinion, the level of care they provide is second to none. You can tell each and every member of staff genuinely really care for the children like they were their own. You are given a written account daily of activities
your child has done as well as what they have eaten along with how much. The food menu is also amazing, so I know my daughter never goes hungry whilst there. Nothing is too much for the team and their compassion reflects in the children's happiness at the end of the day.

Upon moving my eldest child from another nursery setting he has become more confident in everything he does. He talks about his friends and about what he has done all the way home. He is so happy at Happy Days and looks forward to going when he wakes up in the morning!
My youngest at 9 months old
started in April and it is like he has been going much longer. He is so content there.
The nursery staff always wear a smile and the handover of the day is always so lovely to hear. They have always done so much, and often come back filthy! Which is great! Makes me happy that they are so happy.

I could not ask for more. I am so so pleased with everything, the staff are great, really supportive and my daughter is really happy here. I am also really pleased that the food they are offering is healthy which was really important to me, no junk or processed foods. Keep up the good work.

All the staff at Happy Days are amazing, they are so caring and all show such love towards childcare. I have every confidence when I leave my child for the day that they are going to have so much fun! The food is varied and all freshly cooked which I love. Definitely a 10/10 from me!

We took the very difficult decision to move our son from another setting to Happy Days Lyde Green. It has been quite possibly the best decision we ever made.
The nursery is new, fresh and has a social conscience (almost all wood toys, plastic kept to a minimum). The carers are professional and passionate
about what they do and you can tell they really know the children well as individuals. Their enthusiasm is visible in the diversity of activities the children are involved with. For example his first week they turned the nursery into a space station! The journeys home are regularly filled with stories of arts and crafts, books and songs. Our son loves nursery and has flourished at Happy Days socially, physically and academically.
A wonderful variety of food is prepared onsite by chef, our son eats almost everything and it's a daily battle to compete at home!
The caring and approachable office staff complete what is a truly amazing team.
I cannot recommend Happy Days Lyde Green highly enough.

A really lovely nursery, friendly staff who are also so welcoming. My son always comes out happy and says he’s had a great day. The outdoor area has lots of play equipment to play with and a large open space. We have never had any issues and most importantly my son settled in quickly and always happy
to go back.

I can’t fault Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Lyde Green, my daughter loves her time there and asks to go on her days at home! I was concerned about how well she would settle as she started during the pandemic and had previously been used to a smaller setting at a childminders but I needn’t have worried.
The staff have settled her in brilliantly and my daughter often talks about them at home. The food is great and she eats so well whilst at nursery. As a parent everything is made easy and I don’t have to worry!

Our two year old daughter joined Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Lyde Green in July 2020 and has since absolutely thrived. She practically runs into the nursery in the mornings and skips out in the evenings, which is so nice to see as well as being very reassuring. Our daughter loves telling us all
about her day and the friends she’s played with. Our daughters key worker is amazing and we couldn’t be happier with her. She always takes her time to tell us what our daughter has been doing during the day and seems to genuinely care for her which makes us incredibly happy. Hello, My name is Darlene, I am a super proud mum to two adult children and have worked with children and families for over 30 years. My action-packed career has given me the opportunity to work with many inspirational people. Ofsted has graded my leadership and management Outstanding at three different nurseries where I have directly managed. I am passionate about people and love working within teams to create beautiful spaces and meaningful, fun experiences where children can SHINE and achieve lifelong success.
