Wildflower Brentford Day Nursery & Preschool

My daughter started the baby room at 13 months old and we are happy with how she has been handled and she has made good progress in her development. The staff is great and provides regular updates and is always ready to answer any questions that we have. Very happy with the nursery and am glad that it is near our home.

My son is going to The Pump House Day Nursery since June 2022 and we couldn't be happier with the nursery and his progress. The staff is amazing and the nursery is super organised and provides the kids with what they need to strive. Well done to everyone in Pump House Brentford.

Our daughter has been attending the Pump House Day Nursery (baby room) since she was only 3 months old, and we have been so impressed with how quickly she settled in. She has developed very strong bonds with her key worker as well as with other lovely staff in the baby's room. She always seems so happy to go in the morning! She has also become a really sociable child, and we love to see the regular baby's room updates throughout the week and detailed development updates about her every month. We cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful nursery!

A lovely welcoming environment, all the staff are friendly and great with the children! Our daughter is happy there and that is all we want when she is in someone else's care. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nursery for their child.

My twins have been attending this nursery since they turned two in September, and they love going here. The teachers help them settle in so well. After one of my twins would still cry when being dropped off after four weeks, he now runs in and leads me out the door! Before they went here, one of them wouldn't speak, and within four weeks he was speaking and every day they are both learning more and more. They have a chef that makes a variety of food with a new menu posted, and a handy app where they upload everything in real-time from nappy change, to how much they ate, and nap times and can message directly to the teachers in their room if needed. Highly recommend.

My little one has been at Pump House Nursery and it has been overall a great experience. There was a period of adjusting but all of the staff were so nice, and understanding and provided helpful and reasonable advice. I feel as though the staff have a connection with my daughter, which puts my mind more at ease as I work full time. My daughter has a smile on her face going in and usually seems to really enjoy going. I am happy with my experience so far at Pump House.

A very clean nursery, with very kind and caring staff. They are professional and empathetic, and I can notice substantial developmental and fine motor skills growth in my baby. Loved my child's experience there. Highly recommended.

I'm really impressed since placing our child here, it was a great decision having already tried a few nurseries in Brentford. There is a really high standard of care and most importantly, the staff are all conscientious, fun, attentive, vocal, caring, patient, great with the children and clearly happy at work and enjoying the job. There's a really good vibe and energy in this nursery, even though the staff must be tired with all those toddlers! The staff actively listen when taking on your concerns and follows through on these things well. The manager is always there, always available and clearly runs a good and tight ship. He seems to be coming up with innovative ways to improve things and also to make the place welcoming and fun for the children. Finally, their communications are fantastic, updates all day, good digital platform for access to information and feedback. Observations are regular and clearly thought through. The staff are awesome!

My little boy has recently joined the Pump House nursery and has settled in really well. It is a lovely setting and the staff are kind, friendly and nurturing. There are lots of activities, and the children get to explore the local area which they really enjoy. I highly recommend this nursery!

The baby room staff are brilliant. They make our baby feel safe and happy. They come up with different activities every day to keep the babies engaged and stimulated. Our baby has developed so much since being at The Pump House. The babies also have a really good space - it's big and there are various different areas and toys for them to explore.

My daughter joined this nursery when she was just 4 months old. I was anxious about it. The staff were supportive and they took on board all my asks without judging (feeding with expressed breast milk, changing her cloth nappies etc). As my daughter got bigger, I could see how much she enjoys being in her baby room. She laughs and giggles, she is definitely happy baby at the Pump House Nursery. The facilities are clean and modern, the staff are professional and friendly. There are opportunities to come to the nursery and meet other parents and children. I am so happy that we have decided to go with this nursery and would definitely recommend it.

I found the nursery very clean. Impressions from the staff was very good, very attentive and polite. I must say management was very clear and concise about what their nursery was about and not leaving anything to imagination.

Our daughter has only been with the nursery for a short time and during this period we have noticed a tremendous improvement in her development and engagement. Thanks to the staff members, she has become more independent and socially interactive. They are a true credit to the nursery. They have shown that they are always on the ball and are able to identify key areas that need attention. There is always a plan of action going forward, with all the highs and lows continuously communicated back to us. We are so proud of her accomplishments so far and eagerly await what happens next. We are also extremely happy that she has settled in so quickly. Everyday is a new adventure for her, she is always so excited to get in and go play, with the morning routine being such a breeze. She has created new bonds and always has a smile on her face when we pick her up. This nursery has a beautiful team and environment, its home to home with much more toys and activities. Its a blessing.

This place puts the dream work into teamwork. Every single team member at The Pump House was an absolute delight. My child settled in amazingly well, and his confidence in the language, art, songs, letters and numbers and making friends grew leaps and bounds. The days he attended, he literally couldn't wait to get out the door, and each time I'd go to collect him, he would have the biggest grin and wanted to tell me all about his day.

I really loved the fact that The Pump House recognised my child's interest immediately. This gave me confidence that the team there really took an active interest in getting to know my son as an individual. There definitely wasn't a 'one size fits all' approach, and I believe the team really nurtured his inquisitive mind and imagination.

It's such a shame that we had to move because I really think that The Pump House nursery was the shining star of the area.

My daughter started at Pump House when she was 11-months-old. She loves it at Pump House. She has bonded well with the caring teachers and staff. As a parent, I feel reassured knowing that my child is in the care of people who know how to nurture and engage with such young ones in a way that stimulates and develops them. The activities and outdoor play seem to be well thought out and enjoyable for the babies. Pump House also maintains good communication with parents. Would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter attends The Pump House Day Nursery. I find it to be an extremely warm and inclusive environment. Although starting nursery during Covid was not the experience I had originally imagined, (wearing a mask every day and keeping distance makes it harder to get a sense of things) the staff have been amazing at adapting to what I imagine has been an enormous challenge for them. From what I can tell, they are an amazingly kind bunch, and my daughter is making huge leaps in confidence and ability since going there. They always make an effort to have a bit of a chat, and I get the feeling they know all the children individually really well. My daughter is excited to go to the nursery, and that is the best review I can possibly give. Would definitely recommend.

We moved our daughter in August to The Pump House as her previous nursery was not opening again until much later in the year due to Covid. It wasn’t an easy decision to make as viewings were done virtually and settling in was also carried out a Covid safe manner, which may have made it harder for everyone involved, but our daughter quickly settled in, and she now loves it. The staff are all great, despite there being some changes recently, it has all gone smoothly and hasn’t affected anything negatively. Out of the nurseries in the area that we looked at, we are very happy with our choice.

We have 2 children at the nursery and are pleased with the care they receive. Thye always do fun and creative activities and come home smiling and tired. The app is great for communicating with staff and hearing about their day and it is lovely to see photos too.
