The relationships he's built, both with his classmates and his teachers, have been so special to watch and have played such an important role in his development. He has grown in confidence so much and now has a genuine love of learning.
The variety of activities on offer is fantastic - from creative play to weekly football sessions and yoga - all of which he thoroughly enjoys. One of the highlights of our day is hearing him excitedly tell us everything he's learned and experienced.
We already know we'll feel a real sense of loss when it's time for him to move on to school. We are so grateful to everyone at Pump House for giving him such a positive and nurturing start.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Our child was never looked after anyone but me and my husband, so we were a bit worried how he would settle in the nursery. The separation process wasn't the easiest and it is still early days but the progress which our child made is huge. Thanks to professional nursery management and very caring and patient team, our child is gradually starting to feel more secure and relaxed. He definitely trusts his key workers because once he is dropped off, he immediately runs towards them! Developmentally we also noticed a huge growth, our kid is getting more and more independent, his speech is developing more rapidly. We look forward to seeing his further growth, with assistance of his warm and caring nursery team! In addition, receiving daily updates via special nursery app is very useful, it is great to see what children have been up to that day. Also, I think these extra activities which nursery offers (like Tiny Tunes) make children's day even more exciting. Thank you for all your hard work!

I have choose the pump house nursery for my 2 year old daughter I think that was the absolute right decision it's been just 1 month and I can see development in my child she start eating her self even she prefer she want to do everything by herself apart from that I have seen nursery facilities and all the teacher quite professional after all these things I have seen and thought my daughter in a right place.

My son has been in the baby room since just after his first birthday and we are really pleased with our experience at pump house. Staff are kind, caring, flexible and provide an engaging and stimulating environment. Staff are really good at communicating with parents and we love the daily updates. Our son does so many activities here that we would not have thought of otherwise and he comes home learning many new words all the time. The premises is modern and clean and the cost is good for London. They celebrate many events throughout the year and are so welcoming to children and parents.

The pump house day nursery has been so welcoming to my daughter and myself, she is so happy there and learns so much, she has great bonds with all of staff and they all take their time to get to know the children properly and it really shows. Their communication has been great, we receive regular updates and photos of the kids' day, something we never had with the previous nursery, and it has made such a difference in feeling connected to our daughter's day.

Even though the nursery manager changed just as we were joining, Lyn has been absolutely wonderful. She listens to every comment we make, takes action when needed, and keeps communication clear and supportive. The management team as a whole has been very helpful.
The nursery itself has a lovely garden and indoor space which my son adores because he loves running around and exploring. They also take the children out regularly to see the ducks and visit pets at home which is such a thoughtful touch. The staff in the baby room are genuinely caring and loving and it shows in how happy and comfortable my son is there.

It's also been amazing to watch how much he's come on with his development since starting. But the main thing for us is that he's just so happy to be there. He goes in with a big smile every morning and he's just as cheerful when we pick him up at the end of the day, which really says it all.
The building itself is a big plus too - it's modern, clean and a really beautiful space for the kids. We honestly can't recommend the team and the nursery enough.

My daughter joined The Pump House Nursery in January 2023. Throughout her time there, the entire team has gone above and beyond in providing exceptional care, attention, and love. I've worked closely with the team on her EHCP, and the process was handled with such professionalism and care, making me feel reassured every step of the way. The growth I've seen in my daughter-from her confidence to her communication skills-has been nothing short of remarkable. The communication between myself and the nursery has been seamless, and the support we both received has been unparalleled. I couldn't recommend the Nursery enough. They are a fabulous team and I am forever grateful for the incredible difference they've made in her life.
We love our child's development while she has been with The Pump House Day Nursery. Two staff members in particular are awesome. Our daughter joined the preschool and she has grown with all the staff, developed bonds and learnt social skills.
She is very well looked after, every time we go to pick her up you can tell that the children are happy.
All the staff is superb, super caring for the children and very supportive with their growth.
Another plus point for us was that the nursery is very open to parents and there is great communication between nursery and family.
Last but not least, they have a proper kitchen in house, and they have a lovely lady Chef who cooks delicious meals from scratch for the kids which my daughter really enjoys.

Hello, my name is Lyn Barallon-Hibbert, and I am the Manager at our wonderful Pump House Day Nursery and Preschool.
I am a dedicated and experienced childcare professional with over 20 years of experience in the Early Years sector. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of nursery settings, which has given me a broad and in-depth understanding of child development, learning styles, and best practices in early years education.
I am passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and stimulating environments where children feel confident, valued, and inspired to learn. Supporting children as they grow socially, emotionally, and educationally is something I find incredibly rewarding, and I take pride in helping every child reach their full potential during these important early years.
Over the years, I have worked with children from a wide range of backgrounds and with varying individual needs. These experiences have strengthened my belief that every child deserves the very best start in life. I am committed to ensuring that our environments and curriculum are inclusive, enabling, and tailored to support every child in our care.
My experience across different nursery settings has given me valuable insight into a variety of approaches and practices, allowing me to continuously reflect, adapt, and improve. I am committed to ongoing professional development and strive to keep up to date with changes and best practices within the sector.
I am currently working towards my Level 7 qualification, which is further strengthening my leadership and management skills, as well as deepening my knowledge of early years education.
