After a bad experience, we had a good look around and found this amazing nursery. It is so clean and new, the garden has everything a child could use to explore, a big bonus as my 3-year-old boy is very active. All the playing activities were perfectly set up and ready for the next day.


This nursery

embraces different cultures and religions and my children were able to have Halal.


The children have learnt all different religions and enjoy different festivals, which I think is so important to learn and enjoy together.


We receive daily activity sheets and the children are always busy learning and exploring.


My son, since joining this nursery, has found the confidence to speak more and his vocabulary has improved so much since starting at this nursery.


What makes this nursery so different is they care about the family unit and especially for the children. They have supported my family when we have needed it and will always try to accommodate our childcare needs, even in emergencies.

Our boy has attended Monkey Puzzle since last September and we couldn't be happier - he loves it there. The staff are very friendly and they seem to really know the children, they have great relationships with them. They organise lots of creative activities and opportunities to learn about specific
holidays or events around the world which is great for educating in diversity, they also do lots of crafts and the children are so proud to take them home. They're very supportive and their bond with the children and families is real, I'm so happy we switched from another nursery where we felt the approach was more one size fits all.

Our daughter has attended Monkey Puzzle since January 2020 and absolutely loves it. The staff are all very friendly and seem to have great relationships with the children. Our daughter frequently comes home singing new songs, or playing a new game that she has learnt that day and loves talking about
her friends.
Nursery have always been supportive with naptimes and potty training.

Monkey Puzzle Watford staff has been very friendly and understanding of our needs all along. The close ties our kid has developed with all the nurses there speaks for itself really. We were very pleased to see that Monkey Puzzle don't have a one-size -fits-all approach with the kids and they really

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Always smiling and listening to what I have to say. They give me a little summary of how my child did at the nursery, which is good. Always answering my queries and the communication is very good. I will definitely recommend this nursery to all family and friends
as I have seen improvement in my child as he has developmental delay. So happy my child goes to this nursery.

The nursery staff are lovely and fully engaged with our children. They plan activities that they know the children will enjoy. They provide a caring and supportive environment in which our children learn new skills. The boys are always thrilled to be dropped off, the only problem is they don't want
to leave!
The pandemic has made it hard to comment properly on cleanliness recently, but it certainly seemed of a good standard the last time I was allowed in!

My son has been attending Monkey Puzzle since they first opened. They now have a strong team and my son has really warmed to all the staff - they are very caring and passionate about what they do.
The activities he takes part in are very varied. He learns something new every day and comes home tired!

My daughter is 1 year old and started at Monkey Puzzle 5 months ago. At first, I was a bit nervous as she is my first and with everything going on.
However, the manager completely reassured me about how safe she would be and put my mind at ease.
The staff are so caring and passionate about the care
they give her and it's like a second family for her. I feel so safe and reassured and I would recommend them to anyone.

Our son absolutely loves the staff and nursery. From starting as a one-year-old he has developed so much and I think a huge part of his confidence and curiosity has been encouraged by the nursery.
We've been extremely impressed with the staff's professionalism and the range of activities they do. Our
son thoroughly enjoys attending and talks about the days’ activities, staff and other children with excitement. The facilities are fantastic (lovely outdoor space), with a small group environment for children not to feel so overwhelmed, but more a home from home.
We receive regular updates from his key worker relating to his development and have been fully supported with development goals like toilet training.
The nursery have been very flexible in allowing us to bring him in for extra sessions recently to help juggle our working patterns.
I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

My daughter has been at Monkey Puzzle Watford since September 2020. She has absolutely loved going to nursery and looks forward to seeing the staff and kids. My daughter's development as come on so much with her talking and I love all the updates we receive. The building is all brand new, clean and
safe. The staff are great, friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond especially with the extra covid safety measures. We are so pleased we chose this nursery.

Both my children have attended Monkey Puzzle Watford since it opened in October 2019. The staff have always been friendly and the children love going, which as a parent is a massive plus! My eldest has some learning delays and the support we have received from the nursery manager and her staff over
the last couple of months has been amazing. They are very much working with us to ensure that we can try to access as much external support as we can, as well as internally supporting my child's development through learning and play.

My daughter really enjoys nursery, her words were 'nursery is fun' the other evening and she is always eager to see all her friends. My son has attended Monkey Puzzle Watford for nearly a year and he absolutely loved it. We have been impressed by the child-led learning and regular feedback we received on the progress of our child's development. The children learn through play and fun-based activities. We are provided with the theme
of the month which allows us to continue the learning at home. The food is quite healthy and nutritious.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, staff have gone above and beyond for the children. When they reopened they followed strict and easy guidelines to keep staff and children safe. The staff are friendly, approachable and really care about the children they look after with key person assigned to each child.
We are so happy that we found this nursery for our little one and would highly recommend!

My daughter attends nursery 2 days a week and really enjoys it. We are always greeted with a smile and, on the odd occasion my daughter doesn't want to go in, they are very good at talking her around. The staff are very nice and friendly and teach very well as we notice weekly changes in our daughter
in just a couple of days of nursery. The activities are very good and staff are always keen to make sure the children play outside where possible. The food is good, and always eaten by my daughter. The communication between the staff and parents is good and we kept updated with a dairy and monthly newsletter.

Monkey Puzzle Watford is the best choice for my son. The development of his speaking shows how much time and attention he gets. He learns new things every week, which makes me absolutely happy. I can follow his day through the daily reports. I know he has lots of fun because he happily goes there.

Ritika – Nursery Owner


My name is Ritika and I am the proud owner of Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Watford.Previous I worked in the insurance industry for 12 over years acquiring a strong financial and management background before taking a career break to raise our two children, Mahika and Maanvi. I am very much a hands on mother with a great passion for quality childcare and the drive to run a successful business.


The idea came to me around three years ago when my kids enter into my life.Then I realise that’s work I really enjoy. I love their energy, honesty and their total love of everything fun and exciting. I really enjoy sharing new ideas and experiences with them. My hope is that I can create a fun, exciting and caring learning environment. I have a lot of patience, enthusiasm, creativity and enjoy helping children (and adults) to discover new things. I want to create an environment that is exciting and fun for the children and my staff. As long as children are given, love, support and encouragement they will succeed. Job satisfaction was the most important factor in choosing a career, and working with children, I believe, is the ultimate choice.”


I feel my skillset from my previous experiences will help to make this nursery a success and I cannot wait to see many more children taking their first steps and learning life skills in preparation for ‘big school’ and beyond. A full time Nursery Manager with the appropriate qualifications will be recruited to manage the day to day business operations, whilst I look after growing the business and managing the relationship with staff and parents.
