Where do I start with the positive comments I have about this place? Everything has been amazing here since my little girl started one and a half years ago. The staff are very attentive, caring, the manager always deals with queries in a friendly way and I always receive such a fast response. My little girl is very well looked after, eats well and loves going. I have recently recommended the nursery to other mum's that I know and their children now attend and love it also. I would definitely recommend this nursery and you will not be disappointed. Much higher care than I received at another nursery for my son. The staff get to know the children on such a personal level and nothing is too much for them. I feel that they go above and beyond.

Our eldest daughter transferred from another nursery which closed. We were happy with the previous nursery but were pleasantly surprised to find Hopscotch Day Nursery Fareham is even better. We can't fault the setting or the staff. We are vegetarian and there is no trouble in providing our daughter with tasty and interesting food. Our daughter has a great time and is always happy to go nursery. We always enjoy seeing what she gets up to in the app updates and the range of activities seems to let her do the stuff she enjoys, while supporting her learning. We are very happy our daughter moved to Hopscotch Day Nursery Fareham and we've just reserved a place for our youngest daughter to follow her.

Would very much recommend. Our daughter is not only safe and looked after but is always learning and developing new skills. The staff are extremely friendly, professional and nothing is ever too much hassle.

Thank you to the manager and everyone at Hopscotch Fareham for caring for our daughter, I absolutely cannot fault you! Our daughter has had the best time with you all, anyone who is considering this setting for their child, do it! Genuine caring staff, great facilities, menus for the kids are brilliant and to top it all off, the things our daughter has learnt shocks me weekly, she loves to learn because of how fun it's been. We absolutely cannot thank you enough for everything you have done, excited for the school years but we will all miss you!

My son has attended Hopscotch Day Nursery, Fareham for nearly one month now. All of the staff have made us feel welcome from day one. My son will go to the ladies in the baby room with no fuss and this has made my return to work a lot easier knowing he has been left in safe hands and he is happy enough to stay with them. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Unfortunately, my son suffers badly with reflux and they have dealt with this really well, working with the ways I try to keep his reflux to a minimum at home. They are all so friendly and lovely, including the managers.

This nursery is amazing, from the staff to the equipment, to the activities, to the food provided. We moved our little girl from another nursery here (extremely appalled with the previous one) and were a tad nervous trying again, but from the very first contact with Hopscotch, we knew this was the right move for us.

I could not wish to send my little boy to a better nursery than Hopscotch in Fareham, the staff and management are amazing!
Me and my partner know that our son will be looked after and cared for like he has been over the last 6 months, our son is diary-free and the team have really gone the extra mile to ensure he has a variety of foods.
The staff really take their time to listen and understand and give advice when they feel it is needed and keeping us informed of our son's progress.

The feeling of knowing my son will be kept safe and happy with the amazing staff at Fareham is such a great feeling for a parent, and I know he loves seeing all the ladies each day too!

My daughter absolutely loves going to Hopscotch nursery. All the staff members are so friendly, always happy and nothing is ever too much trouble. My daughter has developed so much in her confidence towards others and has made so many lovely friends. I couldn’t have asked for a better stepping stone prior to her starting school.

What a wonderful preschool and nursery. My daughter really did not do too well at a previous nursery and has blossomed at Hopscotch. The staff are excellent and the management more than helpful with adjustments and requests. I would happily recommend Hopscotch to others. The soft play is a nice touch too.

Both my boys attend this nursery and I couldn't be happier with the care they are receiving. I have no worries about them whilst I'm at work. All the staff are incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming and I feel they make genuine connections will all the children in their care. I highly recommend Hopscotch Fareham.

Hopscotch Fareham is outstanding in every way.
The staff are so incredibly friendly and happy. The management are equally as amazing, friendly and helpful. I feel I have great communication with them all.
There is always such a personal experience on drop off/collection with interaction with older siblings, knowing their names etc
The facilities are so clean and fresh everything is brand new and looks amazing. The garden and indoor soft play are also fantastic.
The building and security is also great peace of mind with safeguarding our children.

I am so happy that we found Hopscotch.

Hello, my name is Dani Athersmith, and I am the Nursery Manager at Hopscotch Day Nursery Fareham.

I have been working in early years settings since 2011, starting as an apprentice before qualifying and gaining experience in various environments with children of all age groups. I joined the Hopscotch team in October 2018 at our Botley location, where I began as a practitioner in the toddler room before advancing to senior practitioner. In September 2019, I transferred to our lovely new Fareham setting, taking on the role of Room Leader for U2 and becoming the third in charge. In March 2022, I was promoted to Deputy Manager at Fareham.

At Fareham, our team of practitioners is dedicated to creating a stimulating environment where children feel safe and secure, enabling them to learn and develop the skills they need to thrive as they grow. I am particularly passionate about fostering strong partnerships with parents to build trust, ensuring that children feel comfortable and secure while in our care.

We understand how challenging it can be to send your child to nursery, and we strive to offer the best possible care, creating a home-from-home experience that aligns with each child's individual routine.

Hi, my name is Felicity, and I've been part of the Hopscotch Journey at Fareham since 2020. For five years, I had the privilege of managing our Preschool team while also enhancing my skills with a qualification in Special Educational Needs. I collaborate closely with our Manager, Dani, and we are both dedicated to providing outstanding childcare.
