Hopscotch Day Nursery Fareham

The girls working in toddler room have been amazing with an anxiety of leaving my boy. They have reassured me through great communication and team work. They truly make him bounce up and down when he's coming in. Which is amazing! I also I love the photos they post of him on famly makes my day.

The subjects my child has been learning have been fabulous for her development and growth.

Would highly recommend.

My child started hopscotch Fareham in November 24 due to me taking them out of a different nursery l. I was absolutely amazed at how wonderful and welcoming the staff were to help with a quick start date and settle my child in. I could not believe the complete change in my child from crying and not wanting to go in on their first session, to a few weeks later, so excited to go to. They now can not wait to go to nursery and are so happy to go in with the staff member, and I can feel confident that my child will be looked after like one of their own at the Fareham setting. All of the staff here are amazing, caring, happy and always available for anything. They really have turned my little girl around from the child she was at her old nursery, back to her happy self within such a short space of time. I wish I had sent her here from the start. The best nursery and staff around. Thank you for everything that you do for my child. She will continue to flourish in your loving care.

We have used Hopscotch Fareham now since 2022, both our children have attended and we believe they really do get the best start to their education. Our youngest started here in January 2025 and she loves it. All the staff are so friendly and caring, it's nice to see the same faces still working here 2 years on from when our son left. They involve the children in lots of activities from indoor to outdoor, they even have a soft play area which is an added bonus! Great communication with parents through the use of the app and we're given regular updates on what they've been up to during the day including pictures. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends and I can't speak highly enough about the setting.

They also have lovely well balanced meals, I wish I could eat with them!

All of the staff are lovely and really try to give the children a positive experience throughout the day. Couldn't recommend this nursery more.

We've had a wonderful experience with Hopscotch Fareham! My son attended for four years, and now my daughter is there as well. She started in the baby room and is now in the toddler room, where she's truly blossomed. Since joining, she has gained so much confidence and is steadily achieving milestones that were a little behind her age. The staff have been incredibly supportive and attentive, making sure each child's needs are met. It's a relief to know my children are in such caring and nurturing hands. My son has attended Hopscotch since he was 1 and is coming to the end of pre-school. He is on the sensitive side, so I was really worried about him going to nursery but he has absolutely thrived at Hopscotch. The staff are wonderful, so kind, patient and understanding. It's been such a weight off my shoulders to know he's happy and is being looked after by staff who genuinely care about him. My daughter is about to start in the baby room so we're about to start the journey all over again - we didn't even consider sending her anywhere else! Thank you Hopscotch Fareham team.

Since he has started to go to this nursery, we have observed significant improvements in many areas and these have also been picked up by his therapists. In particular, his eating has come on tremendously, meal times are calm and the meals look appetising and nutritious.

I am so happy and proud to send my son to Hopscotch Day Nursery. None of the other nurseries compared and as soon as I walked in, I knew Hopscotch was the place for us. The quality of care is second to none and I have complete trust in the staff. A special thank you to the manager, her personable approach makes us feel very welcomed there and I can see the good improvements she is making. She is so kind, passionate about her job and always takes time to say hello to me and my son. A wonderful manager, thank you!

My daughter attends Hopscotch Fareham in the baby room and has done for the last few months. Due to her being my first child, I was extremely nervous about her starting nursery but the team at Hopscotch went above and beyond to put my mind at ease. Everyone is so friendly and says hello when you enter the building and recognises your face. The baby room has made my daughter feel so welcome and she is such a confident, happy little girl thanks to the incredible team. There is a huge range of activities for the children to learn and develop their own preferences and personalities. Something that was super important to me when looking for a nursery setting was the quality of meals provided to the children, and Hopscotch goes above and beyond to give the children new tastes/cuisines that are amazing quality. The gardens are also lovely and spacious! I would always recommend this setting and can’t thank them enough for giving my little girl such a caring and fun environment to grow.

We could not be happier with our choice to send our son to Hopscotch Fareham. We looked around several settings but Hopscotch Fareham stood out by a long way. Staff are all super friendly, attentive, very knowledgeable and genuinely caring. Our son has a huge smile on his face each time we pull into the car park and again when he sees any of the staff, particularly his key workers who have been an incredible support. He settled very quickly and sometimes doesn’t want to leave in the evenings when I arrive to pick him up! Home/nursery contact is outstanding and I feel very relaxed and comfortable leaving our little one there each day as I know he will have a great time and above all else, be incredibly well looked after by the whole team. My child started in October/November time and all I can say is how great the staff have been. Especially a certain few who deal with my child more which has made him so confident and comfortable in the nursery.

I have two children at this nursery and they are amazing with both. My eldest has always loved going to nursery from 1 and is currently in preschool. He is always challenged and has engaging activities covering a variety of skills from language and counting to gross and fine motor skills. The staff are all very caring and have a genuine interest in my children. Our children's key workers are always on hand for advice. My youngest needs some additional support and the nursery has been amazing in understanding how they can support him and games and activities that will help. You're always given a detailed handover of their day. We absolutely love this nursery and the amazing staff. The soft play and sensory room is an amazing addition and a favourite of both the children.

A safe and happy place; the staff are exceptional and the rooms are full of brilliant resources and space for the children to be creative, physical and play. The online communication platform keeps parents in touch with their child's day including regular photo observations and the management staff are quick to resolve any issues. I am soon to send my daughter to Fareham too!

Hopscotch Day Nursery Fareham is a fantastic nursery where the staff go above and beyond to care for the children. My son is in the baby room and he absolutely loves his days at nursery. His key worker is fantastic and she ensures the opportunities he receives are supporting him to develop. I am so pleased we chose Hopscotch.

I have been extremely happy with my son’s experience in the baby room. He has been treated so well by the staff in the room and he has been so comfortable and happy. A special shout to his key worker who has always gone above and beyond for him and us and they have built a lovely relationship, which I am sad to see move on now he will be moving up. Thank you all.
