Hopscotch Day Nursery Fareham

This nursery is absolutely fantastic, if you’re considering sending your child here do it! I promise you won’t regret it. Both of my children have attended this nursery from toddlers up to pre school and they have never once been anything less than fantastic! To the point where my eldest who is now in year 1 still speaks of her time there fondly and loves getting to go back to collect my youngest and the youngest wants them all to come to her birthday party! If you send your child to this nursery you will never have to worry about whether they’re being cared for properly or educationally stimulated or fed well or emotionally engaged with, these guys are the bees knees!

Our daughter has been going to Hopscotch Day Nursery Fareham since January 2020 when she was 11 months old. She is now in pre-school and her development over the years has been amazing despite Covid. She has additional needs but the staff have been on hand to provide additional support where needed and have been so caring, I am sure she has them all wrapped around her little finger! We have had the support needed to get an Education, Health and Care Plan in place which, ensures the right levels of support are provided for her education and wellbeing. She has had an epileptic seizure while at the setting. The team were quick to deal with the situation by contacting my wife and getting an ambulance arranged as quickly as possible. The staff dealt with the matter in a very professional but caring way. Since this we have had a care plan put in place which the nursery have supported. We will all be very sad when she goes to Big school next September, Hopscotch Day Nursery Fareham have helped provide the best start to her education.

Excellent staff, can see the staff really care for the children, keeping them engaged in activities and safe at the same time. Well recommend to parents. Very happy with the service they provide to our baby daughter.

I honestly cannot rate this nursery highly enough, it is the one I suggest to anyone who asks.

My only 'good' point and not excellent is because the car park has horrible stones on instead of tarmac.

Along the way the nursery has helped with losing dummies, potty training, speech and made all of these transitions easy. Their current work in preschool for getting the children ready for the school start in September is fantastic. The staff really care about the children and give them such an exciting day, every day. We really couldn’t recommend them enough and with a second child on the way we are excited for the journey to start all over again with Hopscotch.

I have been with Hopscotch Day Nursery since it opened and cannot say a bad word towards it. All staff members are so welcoming and helpful at all stages of my children's development. The support given whether it's teething, potty training or speech, is exceptional, there is always someone that is able to help and guide us in the right direction. The facilities are great, especially having the area of soft play. My kids love coming into nursery, and I would 100% recommend

I can’t praise Hopscotch Fareham highly enough for how they have supported my daughter to grow and develop. Our daughter has SEN, which we didn’t know at the time of choosing a nursery so this didn’t really factor into our choice of nursery, however, they have gone above and beyond in this area. They’ve supported various therapies to visit within the nursery setting, continuously kept us updated with her progress and targets, supported her in areas of need but challenged her to excel in all areas she is able to. I’ve never been in doubt our daughter is safe and looked after at Hopscotch and this really is so important as a working family, to feel like the nursery is a home from home for our daughter and she has strong bonds with all the staff. The opportunities at Hopscotch for her to grow and develop are so varied and the biggest bonus of having a whole room dedicated to soft play, which during lockdowns this was invaluable for the children to still have access to!

The nursery staff are so friendly, and my son loves his sessions. He has already developed so much in the short space of time he has been attending. The management is helpful, and no question is too silly. I would definitely recommend it.

We always feel like we are being taken seriously and that our requests are being honoured. Responses to emails are swift and comprehensive.

My son attends preschool. He started when 14-months-old in Toddler, and I can’t fault anything. His development has come on in leaps and bounds, he looks forward to routine and structure and thrives with activities provided in preschool. He has become more adventurous with foods and trying things he wouldn’t touch at home. I viewed several nurseries and although Hopscotch Day Nursery Fareham isn’t local to my home, I wouldn’t have him anywhere else.

We have loved our time at Hopscotch Fareham, first with my daughter (preschool room) and now with my son (baby room). The staff are all wonderful and really work hard to make sure that the children feel loved and happy during their time at the nursery, as well as focusing on their social and cognitive development. The facilities are lovely, especially the soft play and sensory room.

Hopscotch has been amazing with both of my daughters! One who has ASD! They are such a supportive nursery! And I genuinely couldn’t ask for more from a nursery; they have so many activities they do with the children, anything you are struggling with or need advice with you can talk to the staff, I have built amazing relationships with all of the staff there they are all lovely! Would recommend this nursery to anyone who wants the best for their children and wants them to thrive and have the best education in their all-important pre-school years!

Hopscotch Fareham has by far been the best nursery I have had my girls attend. My youngest has been there for 12-months, and she is so happy and content, literally runs threw the door without a backward glance. They are great at enriching the learning of the children whether by painting or outdoor activities or even by having animals visit, so far, we have had chicks, tadpoles, and guinea pigs. My eldest attended preschool before starting mainstream education, and Hopscotch gave her the best start to succeed at school. I can not recommend this nursery enough.

We originally viewed Hopscotch when I was pregnant, and it felt “right” from the off. We hadn’t met our baby yet, but we knew we wanted him to go there, and we were so right. I had to return from maternity early, and Hopscotch went above and beyond to take our little boy on at only 4-months-old, and we still feel they care that way nearly -years later! The staff there are fantastic, and the genuine love and care ooze from the pores of all of them. Our little boy is happiest when he knows he is going to nursery, and we are safe in the knowledge he has the best time and the best care-Thank you, Hopscotch team!

My two little ones attend this nursery and they really enjoy it. It’s very well run. The food is made on-site. They have a soft play, and all of the staff are wonderful. Being open from 7:30-18:30 is perfect for my working needs, and I love that I can use the app to check on the care diary and see updates of what they’ve been up to.

I cannot express how much my son loves attending this nursery. He has been here since he was 8 months old, (when the nursery was in its early stages), is now in the preschool, and has flourished in their care. Kind, attentive staff, supportive management, good facilities, and a variety of learning activities and enrichment.

The best nursery in the area.

I remember looking round nurseries before Covid-19 and I came away with such a good feeling about Hopscotch Day Nursery Fareham, from its beautiful setting and most importantly the way staff interacted with children. As a nervous parent thinking about going back to work, it's important to feel like you have made the right decision. Seven months on and I cannot fault Hopscotch Day Nursery Fareham, such a wonderful nursery. My son is thriving, the staff are lovely and the facilities they have are fantastic. They are also excellent at communicating and keeping me updated. Would one hundred percent recommend.
