MTO Nursery

For the past two weeks, my son has been attending MTO Nursery and has really been enjoying it. We are loving the app and the emails updating us about his day - sharing them with his grandparents too! Looking forward to seeing how he develops further over the rest of the year!

Our son has attended MTO since he was 8-months-old, he is now 3. They are a fantastic nursery; very well managed, very warm and welcoming to the children, every day they have many different activities planned, they go on daily outings, and the meals provided are very healthy with lots of fruit and veg (this in house cook is brilliant). I cannot thank MTO enough for looking after our son and making him so happy.

We have been particularly impressed with how they have handled the pandemic, keeping patents well informed of all developments and changes in the nursery as well as slowing flexibility in returning our child to work. The hygiene standards and health and safety guidelines they have implemented were excellent and informative, they have managed to keep our children safe, whilst still allowing them to thrive and enjoy their time at nursery.

My daughter has been going to MTO for a few years now - from the baby room - and loves her days at MTO. It is a small nursery and the staff are so personable, attentive and genuinely caring for the children. The beauty of a small nursery is that genuine connection between children and staff, but also the parents, and they host special family days around Christmas, mother’s days etc which are a lovely time to spend at the nursery and also demonstrate how much the staff care. Our priority was staff who were interested and care for the children and that’s exactly what we got. We are very happy here and will be sad when it’s time for our daughter to say goodbye and go to school.

MTO helped our family immensely by taking on our children to provide childcare at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and nursery closures as their last nursery had to close. Both my partner and I are key workers and could not have continued in our jobs without this support. That our twin daughters have continued to learn, develop and started potty training in this time is testament to how supportive and well run the nursery is. The only small drawback of the nursery is the lack of outside space. However, the girls do get regular varied opportunities at different play settings and activities (including cooking with the nursery’s chef) and hopefully once the lockdown eases they will get more opportunity to be outside on excursions.

My son is very happy there, the meals are nutritious and tasty. He’s made a lot of progress since he started going into the nursery and I could go to work being confident my son will be looked after with love and care from the staff at nursery.

My grandson has been at nursery from one and a half. He has always been happy and very well looked after. If I’ve had a problem it’s been sorted straight away. I could not recommend this nursery enough, the food is very good, my little one eats anything; vegetables, fruit. I am saying this is because he’s had such a good start with food at nursery, he is very happy. You can't go wrong sending your child here.

I would recommend MTO to anyone looking for a nursery in the Crouch End area.

My 23-month-old twins have attended MTO since they were 16 months. They really love it here. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. They go the extra mile to ensure the parent and child are comfortable and all concerns are listened to. My two now run into the nursery and don’t look back (a clear sign they love going there). The environment is always clean and safe. My twins have come along leaps and bounds since being there... the amount they have learnt is incredible. I would recommend MTO to all my family and friends.

My little daughter loves going to MTO Nursery. I believe the main reason is the staff who are extremely kind and caring. They take her out every day to get fresh air, which makes her very happy. She is a fussy eater, but she likes the nursery's food and eats more than she does at home. She does a lot of paintings and drawings and shows them to me proudly. She has got some new friends and looks forward to seeing them. She enjoys her time at MTO Nursery, so we are happy to recommend it to other parents.

This nursery is fabulous. Great communication, very kind and loving carers. Organised, fun. Great nutritious food for the kids. Really interesting ways to help kids learn. My daughter loves it here. After two years I can't think of a single negative thing to say!

The manager and her team are professional, caring and friendly in the way they run MTO nursery. They are always ready to help and accommodate requests. They have become an essential part of our local support network and never failed us. Our daughter loved spending time there from day one and has created strong bonds with the nursery staff. Their long opening hours and not closing for school holidays is of great help also. As a first time mother, I was really anxious about nursery choices and could not be happier having chosen MTO.

Staff go above and beyond the role of the educator. My son loves being at nursery, it's always difficult to get him to leave after his session there! A true home away from home!
