Our two sons (3 and 1) absolutely love Pippas! We recently moved them and were amazed at how quickly both settled in.
The staff are so warm and welcoming. At drop-off, my youngest stretches out his arms as wide as he can to be cuddled by the wonderful ladies in the baby room and my eldest, runs into
preschoolers, full of cheery kids happy to see him and a friend putting his arm around his shoulder as he sits down next to him for breakfast and a giggle. Every day they do fun activities like pizza making, planting flowers, messy play and playing ball (to name just a few). Since joining we've seen huge stretches in my eldest development in vocab, counting, the new songs he sings at home and the friends he's making. My youngest is also learning new words and growing in confidence.
They take the time to find out what languages are spoken at home and encourage speaking in the setting and have taken great care in giving my youngest delicious meals that are suitable for his intolerances.

My daughter has attended Pippa's since she was 8 months old and loves it there. She has progressed from baby room to boppers and now in explorers and in each room she has met staff who are warm, friendly, caring and eager to help her develop as an individual. The staff very quickly got to know her in
each room and when we pick up in the evenings there is always a thorough debrief on her day, always including the highlights. Importantly, this also includes incidents when she has not been that well behaved but staff have been caring in their approach to manage that behaviour and help her (and us) learn to improve it for next time.
Our daughter starts her day earlier due to our work commitments but thanks to the manager and the staff a little pre 8m group has developed which means she is keen to start her day and get playing and learning.
I have particularly enjoyed the progression of activities that she has enjoyed as she has got older and am amazed at the variety of things to do.

My granddaughter has attended Pippa's House Nursery since September 2021, when she was 9 months old and has progressed through the Baby Class, Boppers, Explorers and now Pre-School. She has made friends with lots of children, in a very happy, positive and safe environment, that has contributed considerably
to her growing self-confidence and has made good progress, particularly in terms of communication, and teamwork. I collect her regularly, and during our journey home, she loves to tell me about her day, and what they have done under the expert guidance of a wonderful group of professional, kind, and patient group of staff, who themselves always take time to explain how her day has gone, including what she had for lunch. This is a wonderful example of a 'happy place' for a child, and every time I collect my granddaughter every child I see has a smile on their face. The staff are all attentive, professional, kind and genuinely interested in witnessing the progress a young child is making.

Pippa's House in Reigate is an outstanding nursery. My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was just 9 months old, and I have been overwhelmed with care, support and dedication that she has received. All of the staff at Pippa's are warm and welcoming, and are hugely dedicated to their
role, ensuring my daughter feels safe, secure and very well cared for, and I have been blown away with the progress she has made. The management team at Pippa's are outstanding, and they are always very approachable, going above and beyond. I regularly receive updates of my daughter's development, and I really enjoy seeing all of the wonderful activities that she has been taking part in. I can honestly say that my little girl starts each day at Pippa's with a huge smile, and when I pick her up at the end of the day, she is beaming with excitement, desperate to tell me what she has been up to. I’d highly recommend this nursery and I feel incredibly lucky that my daughter attends here.

My son has been attending Pippa's since June 2023. My son has a rare health condition that requires some specialist care. Pippa's has been great at accommodating his additional requirements.
I feel they have really gone over and above to help. They have made the process of dealing with his health issue
really bearable.
They have also had his development at the forefront of their minds. Great work.

From the moment we took our tour our minds were made up that this was the perfect place. Our little boy started nursery in the babies room at Pippa's House. He was 10 months old and I was really anxious leaving him but after his setting in days and his first few full days we received excellent feedback
about how well he settled. He has since progressed through other rooms and has made outstanding progress in all areas. The staff go above and beyond to welcome all children into their nursery family. Despite being busy taking exceptional care of their children, there is always time to give great feedback about our little boy's day. The staff know him inside out and know exactly what he loves doing each day. He genuinely looks forward to going every day and loves telling us what he’s been up to. We could not have chosen a better nursery for our little boy and can’t wait for our daughter to join him there too.

We love Pippa’s House. All of the staff are so kind and caring, my son is so happy to go there every day and he doesn’t want to leave. The rooms are always clean and tidy, the garden is wonderful and safe and the food looks (and smells!) lovely and is all cooked by the lovely chef. The manager is always
super helpful and arranges really nice things for the children, they’ve just recently had some eggs that hatched and all the children have been so excited about seeing the chicks grow. What was so lovely is that siblings were also allowed to go and visit. The nursery is always clean and you never go in to that ‘nursery smell’ you get in other nurseries. We will be truly sad when we have to leave Pippa’s and if we ever had any more children I wouldn’t hesitate to come straight back.

Fantastic nursery and amazing staff! My son joined Pippa's House from 6 months old and he's now close to 4 years, going on 14!
I can’t put into words how happy we are with this nursey and the wonderful staff who take care of our son 3 days a week. They put a lot of time into personal child development,
activities and build relationships with the children so they are excited about going to nursery.
Our son speaks to us about the staff and his friends like they are family. It's lovely to hear and makes us feel at ease knowing that when we leave, he is taken care of. The nursery manager is always so helpful and greets us with a smile in the mornings.
The building is internally and externally spotless. It's a very clean environment for the children, plenty of toys, books. The garden is lovely, especially in the spring and summer months. They grow plants, herbs and vegetables with the children.
I highly recommend this nursery. Feel lucky to have secured a place for our son.

Pippa’s House feels like a second home to our daughter. She started in the Babies room and is now in Explorers and attends 2 days a week. She has made new friends and learnt so much in her 2 years there. The team are amazing, friendly and always supportive!

My daughter attends Pippa's House and I think it caters our needs, my child is happy and always excited to go there. I would recommend Pippa's House Nursery to others as well. Staff are polite. Lot of opportunities for kids to be creative, variety of food choices as per culture.

My daughter has been going to Pippa's House for almost a year, and she is a child who doesn’t take separation from me very lightly, but since she has been in boppers, I have seen a huge improvement, she seems to have gotten really close with the ladies, and even when she is upset to leave me, she is
always reassured with a cuddle and gets over it very quickly. I feel comfortable that she is well looked after, and I can see her confidence has grown. She has a special bond with one of the ladies who is normally in the kitchen but she helps in the rooms too; it’s lovely to know that everyone at the nursery plays their part to make the children feel happy and looked after.

My daughter has been at Pippa’s since the beginning of 2021 and it has been a wonderful experience for her. She looks forward to going every week which is just what you want from a nursery. The staff are great - very caring and helpful. The garden is a great space for the children, and the nursery is
always coming up with new activities which my daughter has really enjoyed (such as having a Spanish teacher come in, and various experiences with animals being brought in). My second child will be joining soon. I would highly recommend Pippa’s to other parents.

The staff at Pippa's House Nursery are all very lovely and professional, my son loves attending nursery, he always has so much fun and does loads of activities indoors and outdoors. The food is also great, with a wide variety each week. Management always go above and beyond to make sure my son is okay
and send us regular updates on any news or changes going on at the nursery. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone as they are flexible. Thank you!

Both our children have been to Pippa’s Nursery and have absolutely loved it. They are also very good at keeping us informed, provide childcare for long days, if needed and are able to provide extra days support, where possible. I definitely recommend them.

Our son has had a fantastic time at Pippa’s House (Reigate) and has grown so much in his time there.
The staff throughout the organisation are helpful, knowledgeable, diligent and above all caring.
The children have space to play and are taken outside often. The nursery arrange lots of fun activities
for the kids, bringing in external groups such as sport programmes and petting zoos.
I highly recommend prospective parents take a look and see if it is what they want for their little ones.

Our son has been with Pippa's House since he was 8 months old and is now 20 months, and the staff have been fantastic with him. He really enjoys the staff, the other children and all of the fun development activities they do on a daily basis. I would highly recommend this nursery for your child.

Samantha Sawyer

Job Title: Senior Nursery Manager Joined: 2021

Sam joined Pippa's House Reigate in September 2021.


She has over 22 years of childcare experience and has a Level 5 and Level 3 in Childcare and Level 3 in Leadership & Management. Sam is based at Pippa's House, Reigate, but has recently been promoted to senior manager supporting our other settings based in Surrey.


Sam is Pippa's house Senior Designated Safeguarding lead. Sam also has SENco experience. Sam is passionate about supporting children and their families.


Sam has 2 children, Chloe (17) and Bobby (12). Chloe is Type 1 Diabetic, so Sam has experience managing this condition.

Lena

Lena Nielsen

Job Title: Senior Deputy Manager Joined: 2022

Lena joined Pippa's House Reigate in April 2022.


She is originally from Denmark, where she studied for a bachelor's in Social Education, which is equivalent to a level 6 in childcare here in the UK.


Lena loves to travel and go outdoors, so her goal is to give the children experiences that help them to achieve their full potential and understand the world around them.


Lena is our EAL Coordinator and will support children and families with English as an Additional Language within our settings.


Lena started as a Nursery Practitioner but has since progressed to Room Leader, Senior Deputy Manager. She recently covered for a year as nursery manager (maternity cover) at our Guildford site, returning to Reigate in September 2025.

A note from Yiota...


I have been working in childcare for 23 years, both in nurseries and as a nanny. I am level 3 qualified-working towards a level 5 lead. I still have a love for crafts and creating fun learning experiences for the children. I joined Pippa's House Reigate in April 2024 as a room leader. I was recently promoted to Deputy Manager in December 2024. I also regularly travel between Pippa's house and the nurseries, mentoring new members of staff. I come from a huge Greek family, and we all look after each other, which is why I realised at a very young age I wanted to work with children. I am now also mum to a baby girl, who attends Pippa’s house. Honestly, when looking for a new position for myself, a big part of wanting to work at Pippa’s house was seeing how happy the children were when I visited and how engaging the staff were. I’m really excited to progress my own qualifications within the nursery and to make it as fun as possible for all the children in my care.

My speciality dish is moussaka - the children absolutely love it.
I've been working within the catering industry for over 20 years. I have experience running community centre kitchens, so I have cooked for all age groups and a vast range of allergies and dietary requirements.

I have worked here at Pippa's house for 3 years now. Since joining I have progressed from practitioner in baby room to baby room leader. I live at home with my mum, sister and dog called Casey. I have always wanted to work in childcare for as long as I can remember especially with babies. I love getting to watch them grow and learn new things, and creating bonds with the children!

A little note from Nia....


Hey, my name is Nia. I have been working at Pippa's house for 4 years, starting as a nursery assistant in Boppers, and I have stayed there since. Whilst being at Pippa's, I have progressed massively, after seeing strengths in my behaviour management, I took the role of behaviour coordinator for the nursery. Sometimes, even travelling to other settings to create different tools and give them support in behaviour areas. After three years of being at Pippa's, I was then given the role of room leader for Boppers, loving the role and the responsibility that comes with it. In my years here, I have made great bonds with families, children, and also staff - I have made many memories and have enjoyed my time here.

I have worked in childcare for just over two and a half years, while working in childcare I have achieved my Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification-Currently working towards my Level 5. This has allowed me to develop my skills and knowledge to ensure that I provide the best possible care to the children to allow them to develop to their full potential. I love working in Pippa’s House Nursery as the children are amazing, and when working with children every day is different as well as the opportunity for growth with my professional development. My favourite activity to do with the children is messy play, especially painting, water play and food play. My favourite aspect of my job is to watch the children grow in independence and confidence as the school year goes on.

I joined Pippa’s House Nursery Reigate in May 2019. It has been the most personally rewarding work experience in my career.
I have over 10 years of childcare experience and a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
I am currently working as a Room Leader in Preschool Room and providing support to new members of staff across other Pippa’s House Nurseries.
I have a 13 year old son and husband. I do love working with children and supporting their families. The benefits are greatest when practitioners and families work in respectful partnership.

In my career I have over 30 years experince working with children of all ages. I have a BA in Education with qualified teacher status. My main focus over the past 15-20 years has been children's language development. I am Pippa's house Reigates Additional needs coordinator working to support the children with a range of needs. Recently I have completed an ELKAN language and communication course which refreshed and gave me a new enthusiasm for getting the best for our children.
