Nursery on the Green

Our son started at Nursery on the Green in September 2021 and immediately settled well. His key worker and other staff quickly got to know him and he soon felt happy and confident in their care. As parents, having regular updates throughout the day has helped us feel connected to him and reassured us that he is happy. He loves going into nursery and has developed so much since starting. We are so pleased with our choice of nursery, and very grateful to all of the staff who work hard to look after him so well.

Very impressed with this nursery. The staff are friendly and know and care about my son's wellbeing and development. Throughout the day we get photos and commentary of his activities, which are varied and imaginative. They spend plenty of time outdoors in the garden and go on regular field trips to nearby parks. Highly recommended.

Now that my eldest is at school it's apparent how much his time at Nursery on the Green helped him thrive and prepare him for what's to come.

We are so delighted with Nursery on the Green, our daughter settled easily and is thriving and enjoying her time there - we always get a big smile and a clap in the morning when I tell her it’s a nursery day! The staff are fantastic and caring and the daily updates with photos, videos and messages help set my mind at ease. I can’t recommend the nursery more.

This is the best nursery in Enfield. The staff simply love kids and are keen to see them develop at their own pace. They have loads of activities from yoga, music time and a learning hub to ensure the kids explore new things.

All the staff are amazing but a big shout out to the manager and the staff.

Both of our daughters attend Nursery on the Green full time and have flourished there. The care is second to none and they are stimulated so much better there than they would be at home. So much variety every day.

All the staff really care about each individual child but also about their parents and wider family unit. This was evident recently when they immediately offered support to us all with some sad family news.

Our eldest will leave to start school in September which is sad but she is more than ready thanks to Nursery on the Green preparation. I just hope the school will support her creativity and challenge her learning just as well as Nursery on the Green. At least our 2 and a half year old will continue on.

My grandson has been at the nursery for a little while now and is having a lovely time there. The staff at the nursery have helped him settle in well which has in turn has put our minds at ease when leaving him there. It is also great to have the updates from them on Tapestry to see what he has been up to. He is always coming home telling us how he has enjoyed the fantastic activities and loves playing in the garden. The care that the staff show and the relationship between them and the children is outstanding and I would highly recommend this nursery.

My nephew recently started attending the nursery and he loves it! We can’t speak highly enough about how much it has already helped him in a short amount of time. His confidence has grown and leaps and bounds and he doesn’t stop talking about the friends that he’s made and all the lovely and helpful members of staff!

My daughter absolutely loves coming to the nursery. The staff are caring and provide detailed feedback on a daily basis. There is always a great range of activities for the children to engage with and the children get to go out for forest school outings locally. We are so happy with the nursery setting.

Both of my children have always loved going to Nursery on the Green, the staff have been so accommodating to each of their individual personalities and have been a huge support for their development and happiness. It looks so much - non-stop fun they have each day. Amazing nursery.

We joined the Nursery on the Green family when our eldest son transferred during the height of the Covid pandemic, our youngest son subsequently joined Nursery on the Green at just 9 months old.

Settling our children in a new environment during a global pandemic was a huge source of anxiety for us, it was a massive relief that both settled in amazingly well.

Our eldest son came out of his shell and found his voice and his self-confidence. His love for learning was nurtured and the nursery provided him with excellent tools and guidance as well as the teaching of key skills to help prepare him for school. Our youngest son absolutely loves going to nursery, he goes to and leaves nursery every day smiling and joyful.

Children thrive from child-directed activities with sensory and messy play to the various outings, phonics lessons and forest school.

Nursery on the Green staff are all extremely talented, dedicated to providing an atmosphere where children feel safe, loved, comfortable to be themselves and a keen curiosity for life.

Best nursery in Enfield - caring friendly staff, nice outdoor playground, great development program that takes into account child's personal needs. My son goes there with pleasure and will be sad leaving it for school. Highly recommend!

With apprehension and nervousness in the middle of 2021, we sent our little boy (our 1st) off to nursery at 15 months. Thanks to lockdowns he hadn't had spent much time with other people, let alone other kids his age, and we were anxious about how he would take to being away from us. Of all of the nurseries we looked at, Nursery on the Green stood out as a nurturing and personal environment and even then it has consistently exceeded our expectations. Within a couple of hours, his care worker had discovered all his preferences and the quirks of his character and reassured us by playing these back in a detailed review of his first day.

Almost a year later and our son has flourished — frequently talking about not just his primary carer but all of the staff with fondness. We can clearly see all of the care and attention he gets every day, and his activities are fun, engaging and varied. He's constantly stimulated and we love seeing the updates in Tapestry. We've registered our second and recommended to friends!

My son has absolutely loved his time here, the staff are incredible, accommodating, kind and my son has come on leaps and bounds since joining. We are going to be very sad to leave for school in September!

My daughter attended this nursery from 8 months old to when she entered reception. She absolutely loved every minute of her time at Nursery on the Green and even still wants to pop by after she has left to say hello to the staff that made her time there so memorable. Her development and social skills certainly benefit from her time at the nursery. The nursery was always on hand to answer any questions I had but I rarely needed to as her whole day is captured on app that, as a parent, you could view in real-time. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent who is considering putting their child into a nursery.

This nursery is fantastic and we are so happy our little girl got a place here. The nursery puts on wonderful activities- fun but educational, the staff are brilliant and so caring, and the facilities are excellent. Our little girl is so happy here.

Our two girls are so happy at Nursery on the Green. The staff are wonderful and the activities they organise are fun, varied and go well above and beyond what we do at home! This week they have been doing Easter activities including an egg hunt and making Easter biscuits and our toddler has loved it. Staff are very supportive with everything from weaning to potty training and I know will help us to get our children ready for school as well.
