Nursery on the Green

Nursery on the Green is a fabulous nursery and we feel so lucky that our twins get to attend. The staff go above and beyond to update us on their progress and really care about our kids. The building is beautiful and open plan meaning the babies can watch and learn from the older kids. They've also been great with the twins' food allergies.

Staff always have a range of activities available for the children, including theme days. Plenty of outdoor space as well as opportunities to go on local trips. Communication with the nursery is great with daily observations on the app as well as adults giving feedback at the end of the day when picking up. A great nursery!

I am very happy with Nursery on the Green and would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a warm, caring, friendly environment for their little one.

My daughter has been attending Nursery on the Green since the baby room and is now thriving at 3 and a half years old. The care provided each and every day is beyond anything I could have ever wished for. My daughter comes home talking about how much she loves her time there, the staff and all her friends which makes any parent feel at ease about being at work. The manager is always on hand to answer any questions and the support for parents from all staff is amazing! I will be very sad when my daughter leaves next year to go to school but I know she will leave well equipped for her next chapter.

We’ve been using the nursery for 3 years and I’ll be continuing to send him there until school.

I am always very confident when I drop my child at Nursery on the Green that they will be entering a caring and fun environment. The team are super helpful and it has always been clear they know my child really well. I can't speak highly enough about the service provided.

Nursery on the Green has been excellent. The children do creative activities and the reporting back is very detailed. The staff have been very caring and attentive. The children get to do fun-packed activities that would be difficult to set up at home. Pre-schoolers get to stand at the learning hub and get prepared for school which is fantastic.

Our son attends this nursery full-time (5 days a week) and we couldn't be happier, the nursery itself is managed well - clean, spacious, and full of games, books, and educational sessions and we love the fact that they rotate and refresh the activities to keep the kids engaged. Food is always fresh in (I see the Sainsbury's deliveries every so often) and they encourage a balanced diet which is important given he gets the majority of his week's meals there. The staff have always been lovely, and most importantly our son looks forward to going there every day and always returns with a smile on his face. Thanks to the manager and the rest of the team.

I couldn’t recommend the nursery more highly!

Both of our children have been through the nursery - our daughter is entering her final few months before heading off to school. We are really happy - it has been a supportive, safe, and stimulating environment for our children. We couldn’t ask for better.

Our daughter is our first child so it is always quite stressful when choosing a nursery, but we couldn't be happier with Nursery On The Green. The nursery offers so many activities and we can see how our daughter is developing with her speech and confidence, which they have contributed to. Our daughter is happy to arrive at nursery and often leaves without a backward glance so is evidently content and comfortable which is reassuring for us.

Our daughter enjoys going to the nursery. It is a very clean and organised environment. The staff are very professional and always spend time at the end of the day talking to you about your child and their day. We get regular updates throughout the day on the app. A good range of activities is offered, including plenty of outdoor time. Nice touches are also offered, like the coffee morning at the weekend for parents and children to go to the nursery for refreshments, to play, to meet other parents and children and to spend time getting to know the staff. Would highly recommend Nursery on the Green.

The love and nurture they give the children is fantastic. The planned daily activities for both babies and older children are amazing. So much time and effort goes into everything they do, such as themed snacks and fruity Thursdays. I'm excited to find out what my children have been up to each day and feel lucky they attend Nursery on The Green.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful nursery. Our daughter absolutely loves it there and is full of smiles every day at drop-off! The staff are so caring and creative and really go the extra mile for the children. We love getting updates on the Tapestry app so we can see what she has been getting up to, how much she has slept, eaten, etc. Overall, we feel very lucky to have found such a brilliant nursery for our daughter.

I currently have my 2 sons there and dreading my first one leaving for school in September as he’s developed the most amazing friends and wonderful relationship with the carers. It breaks my heart! They have always been super friendly, and accommodating and always go out of their way to do creative things with the kids. They truly love the kids and have fun with them. I’m very proud to have my kids there and they definitely have their very best start there. There is an amazing manager, super energetic and friendly and that vibe carries on with the rest of the staff!

We have been incredibly happy with Nursery on the Green. Seeing our daughter smile and reach out to the staff for a cuddle when she arrives is very reassuring. She has a great time and especially loves the messy play as she doesn’t get to do much of that at home. We love seeing the photos of what she gets up to during the day. The staff are lovely and so enthusiastic. They take a lot of pride in providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for babies and children. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the nursery to anyone looking for childcare.

My child has been happy since the day she started at Nursery on the Green. A different activity every day. The manager and her team are amazing - Nothing is too much trouble and you can tell all the staff love working there and the children. I highly recommend.
