Pear Tree Nursery West Road

My daughter started at Pear Tree Nursery West Road at 10 months old when I returned to work last October. I was obviously very nervous about leaving her with strangers three days a week but the team have been fantastic and settled any nerves I had. Seeing how much my wee one enjoys her time there and how much the staff seem to care about her and her individual needs/wants had made the whole process much easier. I know how hard everyone at West Road has worked recently to overcome some challenges and the results are obvious. I love seeing daily photos and updates from her time at nursery and she normally seems to be having a great time.

The Staff are amazing, and really provide a safe and stimulating environment for my daughter, who loves going to nursery every day. They really find out what the kids are interested in and provide experiences to develop their interests further. They are currently raising tadpoles and hatching chicks.

Pear Tree Nursery West Road have been working extremely hard to improve in every area after the decline in standards and the bad feedback they got after they were inspected. I cannot fault the care my son now receives and how wonderful the current staff are! The difference now from last year is like night and day. My son generally loves going to nursery and has such a fun time and his social and learning skills have increased and improved so much. The staff in his room (and throughout the nursery) are amazing so happy and chatty and generally care a great deal about the children and their jobs. Couldn’t be happier!

My son loves his time at Pear Tree Nursery West Road. He is cared for and nurtured in such an amazing way. His interests are encouraged and learnings are based around these. Communication is great and the team are first class.

Lovely staff and always very accommodating. My little one has taken a little while to settle but the staff have been so warm and loving. They have great activities and I have noticed a big change in development from my little one since starting.

Our son has attended this nursery since September 2022. In the last 7 months, we have seen a huge improvement in the nursery standards and our son loves attending nursery. He is thriving, building confidence and generally loving life at the nursery and this is all thanks to the amazing staff and loving environment.

This year our daughter (2 years) has really enjoyed her time at Pear Tree Nursery. There has been a great deal of time and effort invested by all the staff, and their care and dedication is clear to see. We get daily updates and photos on what is happening with our child at the nursery with lots of fun activities and learning opportunities each day. Weekly updates also inform us what is happening throughout the whole nursery. Our daughter has really enjoyed her nursery experience this year and we would recommend Pear Tree as a safe, fun and nurturing environment for others.

I have two children with the nursery (aged 1 and 3) and have been using the nursery for two years. The team have worked incredibly hard to turn around some challenges they were experiencing and we are really proud of what they have achieved in a short space of time. The team provide a stimulating and nurturing environment for the children and our kids love the staff. There has been an increased focus in getting the children out in the community during the day for walks and picnics which they really enjoy. We get pictures and updates each day so that we can see what they have been learning and the fun they have been having!

Such a great idea to have a Lifeboat team visit to promote safety at sea. My grandchild took in a book about volcanoes. The nursery has highlighted this and is taking the subject forward. This not only develops knowledge with friends but makes my grandchild proud of his input.

The nursery has undeniably had its issues in the past year. However, the improvements the nursery has made in the past couple of months have been huge - from the investment in their staff to the materials and equipment they have for the children. My daughter loves going to Pear Tree Nursery West Road, the updates we get daily are fantastic and it is clear from the planned activities in her room they are really focusing on child development.

My daughter absolutely loves being a part of Pear Tree Nursery. She’s excited to arrive in the morning and I can see from the photos that we get that she has a fantastic time during the day. She has also developed so many skills since she started in August and is now walking confidently. The staff are so supportive and nurturing, it’s a wonderful environment.

The staff at Peartree are really caring and provide fun and engaging activities for the kids. My little girl loves going there and has an excellent relationship with all the Teachers. They have done a fantastic job with the kids in the past two years. They welcomed them back into the building with open arms. They also helped to alleviate any concerns from parents about how lockdown affected the kids. My daughter loves the food there. The menu is excellent.

The Pear Tree staff went over and above for my son. They have also supported me through a very difficult time and provided support and met every need. I can't rate the team enough. The deputy manager took the time to call me and offer support and guidance many times. Many thanks to everyone.

Cannot fault Pear Tree Nursery West Road over the past 2.5 years! My daughter absolutely loves it here. I've seen her come on so much since she joined at 8 months old. Drop off she forgets to even say goodbye most of the time as she is too busy running in! And at pick up, she always leaves with a smile, and sometimes doesn’t even want to leave! The food is good and varied. The staff are just fantastic and supportive, she adores them and is always excited to see them. They do lots of great activities indoors and outdoors and get good communication and updates through the app. Would highly recommend!

Before I found Pear Tree Nursery West Road my son was in another nursery. To keep it short, there were certain things that I as a parent wasn’t happy with. I was considering giving up my career to just care for my son as I couldn’t find a childminder and due to my bad experience with the other nursery, I just assumed all the other nursery’s would be the same. Thankfully I found Pear Tree Nursery West Road. This nursery has completely changed my view. The staff are just amazing with my little boy. He is one handful to say the least but not once have they complained. I get constant updates about his day on the app which I appreciate, having that reassurance. I love how active the nursery is with them taking him out daily. I feel the staff listen to me and they are not afraid to speak up if they find your little one is struggling in a certain category and they go above and beyond to try and rectify this. This nursery is beyond all my expectations and I am truly grateful for all the staff.

The staff have tried their best to keep as much normality over the Covid restrictions as possible.

Hard working in difficult circumstances. Very adaptable to the regular governmental changes. The communications via their app are working well. My child rushes in forgetting to say goodbye which I reckon is a great sign!

My boys loves going to Pear Tree Nursery West Road. They have a large garden and do lots of activities outside which he loves. He always looks forward to going to nursery and always comes back happy. The staff are all lovely and have a great relationship with all the kids. The nursery have been very supportive of my role as a key worker during this difficult time and have helped us out when we have needed them.

I have two children attending this nursery and they both love it. The staff are brilliant, facilities are great and the children spend lots of time outside. I’d one hundred percent recommend. They’ve also been excellent over the past year during these difficult times.

We have been extremely satisfied with the care that Pear Tree Nursery West Road provides for our little boy, he is very content there and Pear Tree Nursery West Road staff are keen to support his development. They often make the effort to bring the children outdoors to interesting places and organise good activities, I would highly recommend Pear Tree Nursery West Road.
