Bright Horizons Romsey Day Nursery and Preschool

We are really impressed with everyone at Bright Horizons. All the staff have such a lovely relationship with our boys and they absolutely love coming to nursery/preschool. Can't thank them enough.

We have been part of the Bright Horizons family for three years. My two girls have been here from babies through to preschoolers and love coming to nursery. The staff are very friendly and the resources are great. We would highly recommend.

We had two boys attend the Romsey site and they would always arrive and leave with a smile, which always gave us confidence they were getting the focus, support and entertainment they needed. The staff here always put the needs of our child first.

Both my daughters love going to Bright Horizons Romsey. They really look forward to it. The staff have always been amazing, and have been outstanding during the pandemic. Always friendly and ready to help.

I have two boys that attend Yellow Dot Romsey and I think it's fantastic. The staff are friendly and caring. Everyone is exceedingly helpful regarding queries or issues that arise. Everyone is amazing with the boys when they are unsettled in the morning and throughout the day. One of the best things I can say is the boys come home filthy which for me means they've had a great day.

Transition room is excellent for our son. Very kind and helpful and they encourage him in every step he takes. They also support me in his development, I appreciate this. He enjoys coming to nursery and this is because of the excellent effort his keyworker and the staff make. We are very pleased, thank you.

Fantastic! my daughter was very shy and nervous when she joined the nursery. Through the care and fantastic teaching and attention she has received here she has absolutely thrived, she has grown so much and become confident and that is thanks to all those who have cared for her in transition. Huge thank you top all. They make her and my day easier.

I am very happy with how my daughter gets on in the transition room. She is very confident and happy at nursery. The staff interact very well with her (from what I see at drop-off and pick-up) and she really enjoys their company. She talks about them and play's nurseries at home. Staff are also good at conveying info at the end of the day. Although I obviously think staff need to concentrate on daily activities and care of the children, I would also like a few more tapestry updates (I get 1 a month on average).

I find the staff very friendly, my son seems to love coming and enjoys the activities and learns a lot, overall I find the nursery very welcoming.

We as a family love Yellow Dot Romsey, from the very beginning all the staff have been fantastic. Really easy to talk to and the children get on with all of the grown-ups. We love the nursery as a building as well and think the open space downstairs is great so different ages can mix nicely. Thank you.

My son has really come on since joining the transition. He feels settled and secure, which is all down to the staff. They all understand his quirks! and respond really well to him especially when he's grumpy when he wakes up. He talks really fondly of all the team and I'm confident that they all take extremely good care of him when he's at nursery.

My son has been in the baby room since November 18. In seven months he's had three different key workers. I feel in an environment like the baby room, this is poor and hasn't been the nurturing experience I had hoped it would be. The staff that I have encountered have been caring but I don't feel a particular connection has developed between them and him. I think previously the baby room staff have been more engaging and proactive taking the babies out and with activities to stimulate.

Great nursery, very caring staff. Two children that attend both love their time here.

My daughter loves going to nursery. The staff are all brilliant at communicating how her day has gone. She has so much fun and I have had an overall very positive experience.

My grandson has been coming to Yellow Dot Romsey since it opened. He settled in really well and is always enthusiastic about attending. He has made lots of friends and will be sad to leave next month to start school. Our only criticism is the food, several times we have been to collect him to find that most of the children haven't eaten it, feel that it needs to be more basic rather than things like fish curry.

My four year old has been at Yellow Dot for one year and just been joined by her younger brother. I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at Yellow Dot. My daughter always tells me about the exciting activities they have done and they both are really excited when dropped off, to spend a day there. They make my children happy and care for them extremely well. I can't fault them on anything.
