Finkley Down Farm Nursery & Pre-school Andover

I cannot recommend Finkley highly enough. Previously, our son was at another nursery where, in my opinion, the care was not good. His speech was not progressing, and he was becoming very nervous, insecure and developing behaviour issues. In their opinion, he was becoming a problem child. Finkley and especially one lady has really turned things around. He now is a talkative, confident, loving little chap. This I believe certainty wouldn’t have happened if he had stayed where he was. There is a definite air of professionalism, and the staff are really hard working. They give development opportunities that would be nearly impossible to give at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to say this must be one of the best nurseries in the country. No wonder they are so popular!

We as a family absolutely love Finkley Down Farm Nursery & Pre-school Andover! All the staff are so kind, caring and incredible with the children. We noticed so much growth and change in our children all thanks to the nursery! We highly recommend this nursery to anyone thinking about it! The daily activities they set up are amazing, our boys love the regular trips to the farm. They come home and have so much to talk about! Amazing nursery!

My daughter has had an exceptional experience at Finkley Nursery. The staff are all so genuine, approachable and friendly, not only have they helped my daughter developmentally, the care and love they have shown for her is above and beyond what I ever expected, we really feel like part of a big extended family. The setting is amazing and the children do such a wide range of activities on a daily basis, from activities down on the farm like feeding and preparing food for the animals, to baking, reading, crafts, dancing and other physical activities - the list goes on! We really could not have asked for anything more. My daughter has learnt so much from her time here. It has never been more important for us as parents to feel like we have made the right decision in keeping our child in nursery as it has been during a global pandemic. Finkley Nursery have made us feel safe and confident throughout our entire journey with them - we just wish we never had to leave!

Finkley Down Farm Nursery & Pre-shool has been the most amazing setting for my 2 children. The staff are exceptional, the setting is amazing and the farm is on the doorstep. The farm trips are fantastic and one of the nursery's unique selling points. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. We are going to miss it.

I honestly can't recommend the nursery more if I tried. My daughter has flourished being there and I will be genuinely sad when she leaves to start school this year. She has only attended for a year as we waited to receive the free hours and I wish we had enrolled her as soon as she turned 2! Keep up the good work team.

We've been fortunate to send both our children to Finkley Down Farm Nursery & Pre-school Anodver since it opened, from when they were two and three. The care that our children receive from all the team is exemplary, we have total trust in them and the conduct of the management team is incredible, always going above in various ways. Our children are very different. One is outgoing and confident, the other is quiet and a thinker but the team and key workers know exactly how to be with both of them to ensure they both grow and develop their skills. Overall an incredible nursery and we feel very fortunate to be able to have our children go there!

My son has attended since August 2020 and I couldn’t be any happier with everything he has received since being there, we have seen a huge difference in him in all aspects of life and I can’t thank them enough. They go above and beyond in order for you to have the most up to date information regarding your child and this is also updated throughout their day. During this pandemic and not having access to a parent evening to discuss their development, the staff have added this all onto their app and broken it down into developmental stages. This is done for each child and each stage they achieve. This takes the upmost time and attention, as well as giving our children the best day at nursery. Highly recommended.

My son started at Finkley Down Farm Nursery & Pre-school Andover in September, six months after turning two. From the day he joined, we have been overwhelmed with how much they have to offer at Finkley Down Farm Nursery & Pre-school Andover and the variation of activities they do on a daily basis. The staff are absolutely wonderful and show nothing but love and care for the children and help them so much with their development and next steps. The handovers at the end of each day are so detailed, along with pictures and videos, you definitely feel after reading them you have been on the adventures with them throughout the day. This also helps when you ask your child what they have been up to. If you're thinking about sending your child here, don’t think about it too long as places get booked up and you definitely won’t look back once you have signed them up. They have so much fun every day here, along with the added bonus of the farm onsite too, it really is a fabulous start to early learning for any child.

Finkley Down Farm Nursery & Pre-school Andover is such a fantastic nursery! My son took a good few weeks to settle in but the staff were always really helpful with encouraging him in in the morning. He used to be such a shy boy and now he has so much confidence! The children have such a range of activities planned for them and I love that they have regular access to the farm. The nursery have been fantastic over the last year with the lockdowns. They provided regular activities and photos over Facebook and have provided such a stable environment for the children, where possible. The staff form excellent relationships with the children and are active on social media, encouraging children and parents to share things that they have been doing at home. I would recommend Finkley Down Farm Nursery & Pre-school Andover without hesitation.

My son joined Finkley Down Farm Nursery & Pre-school Andover about six months ago. He can’t wait to go every morning. He has grown in confidence and learns so much there. The team are fantastic and nothing is ever a problem. They all go above and beyond with their effort, thank you so much.

We cannot rate Finkley Nursery high enough. Not only does our Daughter love going, but we have also seen so much progress in her speech, communication and relationships. The Finkley staff go above and beyond and are great at providing updates on Tapestry so we know what our Daughter has been up to. Finkley have been especially great during covid, we were apprehensive about our daughter starting Nursery in June 2020, but the procedures they have in place are excellent. Thank you Finkley!

My child could not be happier at this nursery. The nursery goes above and beyond my expectations, and a huge relief knowing my child is happy, safe, and thriving in her own confidence, learning and development.

Finkley Down Farm Nursery is a fantastic nursery. My daughter loves going here and enjoys all the activities they do. They have a great outdoor space and the setup is really good. She gets to go to the farm daily and soft play. She’s learnt so much. Her key workers are amazing and she speaks highly of them. She is so happy going into nursery every day. We never have tears. She goes 4 days a week so I am so pleased she loves it so much! The staff are all lovely and they have done such a great job keeping our kids safe during the covid lockdowns. They have had great procedures in place. I am also really impressed with the meals she eats - there is a great variety and she’s become much less of a fussy eater since joining Finkley. I can honestly say it is such a fantastic nursery and will also be sending my little boy here when he’s old enough.

Our son has been attending Finkley Nursery since December. He took a few weeks to settle in but now absolutely loves going. All the staff are so friendly and kind. He has a lovely relationship with his key worker, who really helped him settle and takes great care of him. Communication is excellent. Management always responds promptly to emails and phone calls and the parents' app is a fantastic way to share photos and videos - especially since lockdown. The children are so lucky to have the farm. Our son gets so excited about collecting eggs and loves telling us about the pigs and cheeky goats! The play areas are amazing too. We couldn’t be happier with Finkley Down Farm Nursery and would recommend it.

This is such a lovely nursery which my son loves going to. Even in these difficult times, they have been in regular contact with activities for us to do at home with the children and doing live videos for the children to interact with and see while they are not able to attend, which my son has enjoyed very much. Such lovely people and such an amazing nursery. Will be sending my youngest there, and will definitely recommend to anyone that asks.

I first viewed Finkley Nursery before it officially opened and there was just something special about it that made it the right choice for us. The location is ideal and we loved the fact it was linked to the farm. We cannot rate the staff highly enough. They have always been so caring towards our son and also supportive to us as parents. Nothing is too much trouble. My son has really come along in so many ways and I feel confident sending him off to School after spending 3 years at the nursery. They have helped him grow into an independent little boy, full of creativity and he has a love of learning. He loves going to the farm, seeing the animals and playing in the range of different areas. We will be sad when he moves on from the nursery but excited for our daughter who starts in the Autumn. She will absolutely love her time there for sure. We booked her in when she was born as we know it’s so popular! Thank you to all the staff at the Nursery, we can’t wait to come back!

This is a great nursery. My daughter has come on loads since she started in terms of her confidence with meeting and speaking to new people. She’s formed a very close bond with her key worker and there’s always lots of updates and photos of the fun activities they get up to each day. They all get the opportunity to go to the farm each day and meet the animals which my daughter loves. There are also generally lots of outdoor and indoor things to do and keep them entertained! Well done guys, highly recommend.

All the staff care and are happy to take the time to talk to you about your child’s day. I have found it extremely helpful having Tapestry to track what my son is learning and how much fun he is having. The nurseries communication is brilliant, all communications and diary dates are emailed with planning emailed weekly. It is a fantastic learning environment with exciting farm visits each day! I couldn’t be happier with the service they provide and would highly recommend them.

I cannot recommend Finkley Down Farm Nursery highly enough. Our daughter absolutely loves her Finkley days and cannot wait to go. She loves the variety that is offered with lots of outdoor play, learning about the animals, book of the week, show and tell and many more activities. It is great how they also encourage values like tidying up, being helpful, being kind and caring. Having a key worker is great to have that consistency of care and monitor her development. The nursery is very up to date with technology, almost too much for us. The childrens days are logged on Tapestry we, unfortunately, do not have the time to log in and catch up with events on a regular basis. Overall a great nursery with happy staff and happy children!

Her key worker is always available at the end of the day to tell me what she has done and how she has been which is a great opportunity for me to be updated and discuss and concerns.
