In the Woods Nursery

My daughter started September 2026, she is non verbal and is currently going through assessments to see if she has any additional needs and this nursery is perfect for her, she's only been attending just over a month and already making progress in some areas in my opinion. All the staff are lovely and welcoming, she runs in and seems to really enjoy going. Fantastic communication from staff. she currently does 3 mornings so I can't comment of the food but the menus look lovely! I just want to thank everyone who works there, couldn't be happier.

The nursery have been amazing with all 3 of my daughters and I even recommended it to my niece who attended and now even have plans for my unborn niece to attend here when shes of age! The staff here are great with the children and help them reach every milestone, I highly recommend!

Starting our daughter in nursery was an anxious time for us all. My daughter is a very anxious and nervous child around new places and new people. The nursery put our minds at ease with frequent updates and allowing her to do 2 induction days to help her into the transition. They are always there to listen to any concerns and you can tell they care so deeply about the children. They let my daughter lead them allowing her the space to feel comfortable and safe. The staff are so kind, calm and caring to my daughter. She settled in within a week and I dont think that would have happened if I sent her to another nursery. My daughter loves it there. She comes out so happy and has such connections with staff. I feel confident sending my daughter there knowing the amazing work they do, teaching her skills in a playful approach and listening to what she needs. We all love this nursery and i would be completely happy sending my youngest daughter there too.

Been sending my little one to 'In the woods' since she just turned 1 years old, she's now 3.5 and absolutely thriving. She's come on leaps & bounds with her communication and is always ecstatic when talking about nursery, the friends she's made and her teachers. She's always blabbering on about activities she's done and how it's made her feel. The staff are always brilliant and attentive. They're always reassuring with any concerns we have regarding development, behaviour, relationships and supports us in any issues at both at home and in nursery. They also always answer random questions I have and try and find a solution. I truly cannot fault them at all. The nursery offer a wide range of external activities too and have had my 3 year old speaking Spanish phrases to me! They're also very vigilant regarding illnesses and always get in touch if anything is concerning which I appreciate more than anything. I cannot wait to send my youngest here too x

Excellent nursery. Amazing staff and my daughter has come on leaps and bounds nice beginning in august. I can not rate them enough. They engage constantly and feed them amazing selections of meals. I look forward to my daughters future there.

Being a nervous mom, it was nice to have a nursery with Great and supportive staff to help ease my worries. My daughter seems to be settling in really well and learning new things, which is lovely to see. Lastly I'm very grateful for the constant updates and photos uploaded onto the app, as this helps me see her progress and journey.

Nursery are great overall. Alot of updates, previously really personalised but now more general (I'm guessing due to term time and more kids), so got a little used to seeing things about just my child. Otherwise, my child is safe, happy and learning so much!

The menu is a wonderfully varied ensuring all food groups are hit as well as giving children the chance to try new things.

I couldn't recommend In The Woods nursery enough and I am so pleased I chose this nursery for my daughter.

Overall, we would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents. A big thank you to all the staff for everything you do!

I am truly happy with the nursery staff and management. They are looking after my little one since June 25 and making such an effort to ensure my child is settled in, safe, happy and entertained. They are watching closely her development which I am very happy about. They went all the extra miles to make sure she is more comfortable with English language and support her learning by using different materials. She is settled now and has good relationships with the staff. She talks a lot about her peer person, Kayleigh, who is truly lovely and my child misses her on weekends. It makes me at ease to know that my little one can bond with her. The communication is top level, the nursery staff communicates everything to me promptly and trying to accommodate all our requests. They proved to be very flexible and family focused. Sarah is going a great job, ensuring the kids are safe and sound and encourage us parents to give them continuous feedback, opinions.

I feel my baby is very well looked after at nursery and she goes into the setting daily always happy to go and play, I know I never have to worry about her and always look forward to a detailed handover at the end of the day from her key person.

Really recommend this nursery. The workers are great and always update you on the family app. The nursery has great facilities and is a good set up. My child struggled to settle at the start but the staff was very understanding and helped him to settle in.

I am very pleased with the nurdery my son has progressed so much with confidence, speech and socialising since been at the nursery. All staff are very kind and polite, always give me a full handover of how he has been. The entertainment and interaction is brilliant.

Nothing but praise for the team. My child always wants to go to nursery. The different learning and play activities have been great. I love the outside activities are outstanding. i would and have recommended the nursery to friends.

Excellent nursery. Fabulous staff. Large setting for all ages. Variety of healthy tasty meals for different diets. Helped my child for potty training and learning new foods to eat which we've now been able to carry on with at home. Thank you

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. After a previous negative experience with a childminder, I was extremely anxious about my daughter starting somewhere new, but the staff quickly put me at ease. From the first visit, I was impressed by the professionalism of the team. The manager clearly explained safeguarding, infection control, and learning and development, which reassured me that my daughter would be safe and well cared for. Although my daughter is still in her settling-in period, I already feel at ease knowing she is being so well cared for. On her first day, staff knew exactly who they were expecting and knew her name straight away. She is always greeted warmly by staff, even those who are not her key workers know her name.I love the app updates, which give me peace of mind and let me see the fun activities she enjoys each day. I also attended a parent workshop held by the nursery, which showed how much the nursery values supporting parents, too.

My son has been attending since February 2025 and absolutely loves it there! The staff are fantastic - friendly, caring, and really know him inside out. They've been amazing with his potty training, offering so much support and encouragement. He's not keen on most of the meals as they can be quite adventurous, but I really appreciate that the nursery provides a snacky, picky-style lunch alternative when needed. He loves learning makaton and we now use it as home aswell! It's clear they care about each child's individual needs, and I couldn't be happier with the warm, welcoming environment they've created.

The app is updated regularly and I find this very helpful as a parent that I can check in on what she's been getting up to.

In the Woods is a wonderful nursery where my daughter has truly thrived. She's only been attending for a few weeks, but the positive change in her socially has been amazing - all thanks to Sarah and the team. The staff are so kind and supportive and always keeping parents updated through the app. They provide healthy lunches each week and arrange a variety of activities and visitors to keep the children engaged. My daughter runs in happily every day she attends, even after just 4-5 weeks, which to me says everything about the care and attention they give each child. I definitely recommend this nursery
