Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Bath

The facilities in the baby room are fantastic. The space is bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed to stimulate and engage the babies. There's a wide variety of toys and activities that promote both physical and cognitive development. I am particularly impressed with how the room is organized to ensure safety while also encouraging exploration and play. Communication with parents is another area where Happy Days Nursery excels. I receive regular updates on my daughter's progress, including detailed notes about her activities, meals, and any milestones she achieves. This transparency has been incredibly reassuring and allows me to feel connected to her day even when I'm not there. The staff's dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive community is also evident. They organize regular events and opportunities for parents to get involved, which has helped create a wonderful sense of camaraderie among the families.

The caregivers in the Explorers Room demonstrate a genuine passion for childcare and take the time to get to know each child individually. This personalized approach has made my daughter feel valued and cared for, and it's clear she loves her time there. The team is always warm, approachable, and ready to provide feedback and support to parents. The room itself is equipped with a diverse range of toys and learning materials that cater to the curious and adventurous nature of the children. It's clear that a lot of thought has been put into creating an environment that encourages exploration and learning through play. The activities are varied and engaging, helping my daughter's development. One of the aspects I appreciate most is the excellent communication from the nursery. I receive regular updates on my daughter's activities, progress, and any new skills she's developing. These insights are incredibly valuable and help me stay connected with her experiences and growth at the nursery.

My child has attended Happy Days from a very young age. My child has a superb routine and dropoffs and pickups are a very pleasant experience. Happy Days has some really lovely staff who are competent and friendly. The school days are structured and varied, and meals and snack times are the same. Overall, I am happy with Happy Days and would recommend the nursery.

As for the staff, they are excellent. I'm sure looking after so many kids they don't feel like smiling at the end of a long day, but they do, every day. When I pick her up at the end of the day, the staff seem to love telling us how she's got on during the day during their brilliant handovers, and when we leave she always points at the photos of the staff on the door which gives us great confidence of a strong relationship between child and staff. Thank you so much.

Happy Days is a lovely nursery, we've been very pleased with our daughter's experience there. The staff are excellent and the varied activities provide lots of different opportunities for development. The modern, purpose-built space is unusual in the area and a real strength.

I would recommend Happy Days Nursery wholeheartedly. They have made the potentially difficult situation of leaving my son in nursery every day very easy because he absolutely loves it! This is due to the care he is shown every day and also the structured play that is planned every day. The children here are challenged to become independent and are given the time and space to achieve that. Each day/week has a theme which allows us to follow up and support the learning at home.

Highly recommended. They care about the kid's development.

We are so happy with our experience of Happy Days Bath. Both of our daughters attend the nursery and the staff have been fantastic from the beginning. We have a great connection with our key workers and trust them to help support us, with our little ones. I have recommended the nursery to a lot of my friends; I really appreciate the free flow between the garden and room, so children can easily access the outdoors. My youngest is 5 months and I have worked with her key worker on what her next development stage will be. For my eldest, the play is structured, with lots of activities for learning and development. We are notified of the week's topics (space/nature/book day) so we can talk to the girls at the end of the day. We love seeing the photos captured in the diary and it’s helpful to have the food and sleep diary on our phone apps. The office staff and managers are really friendly and have been helpful with any questions or settling-in sessions. I highly recommend Happy Days Bath.

They’re amazing with my little girl, she has suspected Autism and they’ve been amazing in trying to help and understand her needs. Without them, I wouldn’t be so close to getting my daughter diagnosed so quickly and early. They’ve helped make her experience so lovely and welcoming and my daughter loves every single one of them.

The only thing is that we have to pay when it’s the bank holidays, but I’m not too concerned as I’m really happy with the nursery!

Best nursery I have sent my son to, they are fantastic and he loves it. He is always so happy when I pick him up.

All the staff at Happy Days Nursery in Bath are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are fantastic and very modern. We chose this nursery partly based due to its location but mainly because of the set-up, outdoor space and facilities within the nursery. Their communication is very good with monthly newsletters and keep everyone updated with any staff changes. They also prioritise transition into nursery with settling in days and into new rooms when children get a little older. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Our experience of Happy Days has been exceptional from the very first phone call. We can't recommend the nursery and everybody who works here highly enough!

Our son seems to have a really good time at Happy Days Nursery. Started at 9 months old attending 2 mornings a week for the past year. The settling-in phase worked really well - an hour a day, 2 days a week for 6 weeks gave him a long and gentle build-up. Definitely come home having learnt new language and communication skills which have pleasantly surprised us, including sign language (please, thank you, more) when preverbal which has helped transition to speech, sharing with other children, and motor skills through play, including artwork. Delightfully blows the staff kisses as he leaves demonstrating the good bond the staff have with him. They give good feedback and genuinely seem to have an interest in his development. The app is nice just to have that little heartwarming update. A wishlist; more trips out, a bigger outdoor space, more activities like playdough making? They run a lot of events (Halloween, fancy dress, etc.). Would recommend.

My daughter loves this nursery. She is in the Preschool room and especially loves one member of staff in particular who has helped her settle in so much and made a huge difference in her experience. She’s learning and progressing really well and is always asking to be taken to nursery!

We are also really impressed with the food options and care dealing with food intolerances.

Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School have been wonderful for my little boy. The staff are warm and very friendly. They have been wonderful at settling my very anxious son in, and they still are when he is struggling. The staff really help to put my mind at rest, and they always take the time to talk to me and update me on his day. He enjoys different activities and has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Happy Days. Would highly recommend.
