Toddlers Inn Nursery School is based in North Chailey, on the site of St Peters Primary school.

Toddlers Inn’s fantastic custom-made building sits in a stunning setting. The beautiful oak tree garden, secret forest school garden, and light, open-plan classrooms are all in the striking hills and playing field grounds of St Peter’s Primary School, North Chailey.

The nursery has childcare places for 0 to 5-year-olds – the space is large but still remains intimate.

In this leafy, vibrant spot, there is no doubt the nursery can provide children with fun-filled days that will awaken the senses and kick-start social skills whilst establishing new, firm friendships.

At Toddlers Inn Nursery School, children have the freedom to explore a natural environment and can develop a sense of wonder about nature. It’s also a place where children learn to cultivate and nurture. In the gardening club, children can grow fruit and veg and eat them for lunch. How lucky!

The team and children are outside as much as possible to keep healthy, but when the children are ready to come back in there is a warm, homely space, a friendly face and a cuddle if wanted to welcome every child.

Pre school children access Forest School everyday, with their large outdoor classroom, two yurts and allotment, the children flourish in the great outdoors. During pet club they are able to learn about chickens, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs and giant African land snails!

This is an absolutely fantastic, rural nursery that provides a unique setting for children. My boys are almost always outdoors and come back full of stories and wonderfully exhausted! The care is completely personalised and I couldn’t wish for anywhere better to send my children. We are so lucky to
have Toddlers Inn Nursery nearby and I have been actively encouraging everyone I know with young children to send their kids there!

I have two boys currently at Toddlers Inn. I can’t recommend them more. They have all the amazing facilities you would expect, but the thing that is most important to me is that my boys are just so happy there. The staff treat the kids with kindness and genuinely care. You can tell when kids really
like people, and that to me is everything.

I cannot recommend Toddler’s Inn enough. My daughter loves attending and always comes out at the end of the day with a big smile on her face. She’s gained lots of new skills, the environment is brilliant, and the staff are just wonderful. We feel lucky to have such a wonderful nursery.

Everyone at the nursery is so caring and kind. It amazes me the time and effort they put into coming up with new games and ideas to teach the children. I also love how much they use their outside space. My son has been welcomed there with open arms from the moment we went to see it. Couldn’t ask for

Toddlers Inn is fantastic! My daughter loves it there and loves all the staff. Everyone is so friendly and kind. They know her so well, and her development has come on so much, which is so lovely to see. The number of different activities they do in a day amazes me! And if I am working on something
with my daughter at home, for example, her please and thank you’s the nursery also encourage this whilst she is with them! My facilitate bit about the nursery is the amount of outdoor space they have and the all-weather facilities they have for the babies and children. I couldn’t recommend the nursery more! And my son will be going soon too!

I cannot even begin to put into words what an amazing nursery this is. I am a first-time mum and was obviously nervous about sending my daughter, especially at 8-months-old. The staff here are amazing. They are so kind and caring and really make you feel a part of your child’s day every time they are
there. They share what they have been up to and how they have been throughout the day. They are always checking how I am as well. The videos and photos I have seen of my daughter playing have been magical. She even smiles now at 10-months-old when we arrive at the nursery.

Toddlers Inn is a truly fantastic nursery that we are very fortunate to send our daughter to. The care that our daughter receives is fantastic; she has learned so much from the very attentive and caring nursery team. Our daughter thoroughly enjoys attending the nursery, and her personal development
has been massively helped along by team there.
The nursery itself is extremely well looked after - it is is modern, clean, safe and fun.
During the pandemic, the nursery has taken extra steps and been extremely careful about hygiene, social-distancing and maintaining a safe and clean environment for the children to be in. This is helped by the fact the nursery has access to a wonderful outdoor area that is not only spacious but filled with fun activities and locations for the children to enjoy.
We highly recommend Toddler's Inn. We looked around a lot before coming here and compared to other nurseries in the area it's leagues above the rest.

I'm so thrilled that my son is able to attend Toddlers Inn Nursery. The care he receives is outstanding, and the staff are excellent. I get daily updates and feel that, although in these uncertain times, I can't enter the nursery, I can still get a feel for how the day has gone. The manager is always
on hand to answer any questions I have. The children spend lots of time doing fun activities and playing outside. Attending Toddlers Inn has certainly enhanced my son's development, and I can highly recommend the manager and her team to anyone looking for childcare in this area.

What can I say! My 4-year-old son absolutely loved his years at Toddlers Inn and still now talks about the things he used to get up to and all of his teachers. He made his best friend at nursery and they have gone up to school together which has been lovely to watch. The nursery and all of the staff
nurtured him and helped mould him into the confident caring boy that he is today. My 1-year-old son, although he has only been going to the nursery for a few months, loves going in. I always leave him with a smile on his face and know that he is having fun and being well cared for while he’s there. His confidence and character have grown so much. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Toddlers Inn to anyone. Thank you to all of the staff.

Absolutely love this nursery and my daughter has the best time. The staff are absolutely fantastic, kind, caring and informative. The staff always provide daily feedback on what my daughter has been up to and I always feel very kept in the loop. The activities the children do each day is outstanding,
well organised and educational.
The outside area/garden is out of this world and the children are lucky having such a large space. Excellent food and snacks and wide variety and healthy. Couldn’t be happier and would recommend to everyone.

Looked after my grandchild during lockdown. The staff are friendly and helpful. The school is very well kept and clean. Can't fault it in any way in. There is a car park opposite which is so helpful when picking up the children.

My stepson has attended Toddlers Inn for the last two years and has enjoyed every day - he even asks if he's going to nursery at the weekend and he would if he could. He has learnt so much during his time there and loved his 'forest school'. I believe his love for learning has come from this outdoor
learning environment provided by the team. He will miss his friends and teachers when he goes to school in September. A brilliant nursery and foundation for school.

My son only started in March 2020. At first, we considered ourselves lucky to find a place during lockdown even though he qualified for such a space. However, it did not take us long to find out what a little jewel Toddlers Inn is. He slotted in straight away and has been happy ever since. The kindness
and warmth of the staff are the highpoint together with learning activities provided and how the children are introduced to a myriad of opportunities of discovery and understanding. Keep up the great work!

Toddlers Inn is a wonderful nursery. When my usual childcare provision suddenly closed, Toddlers Inn accepted my son willingly and at the very last minute. Staff are all incredibly kind and caring and he settled in really quickly. He always came out smiling after a fun day each full of structured activities,
wholesome food, playtime and wonderful outdoor adventures. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Both of our boys have been attending the nursery following the closure of schools and the loss of grandparent childcare due to Coronavirus. The nursery has been nothing but excellent in this difficult time for us all! Our youngest is only just a year old and has never been in a nursery setting before.
He is a happy and bright child each and every time we collect him, and we never have any issues dropping off; he’s happy to see all the lovely staff. Our eldest normally attends the local school which closed, and although he would be able to attend another local school for key workers, we chose to keep our boys together, and Toddlers were able and willing to do this for us! They have been flexible and accommodating to our shift work! Plus amazing with our fussy eater, which was always something we struggled with at other nurseries when he was younger. Ultimately though our boys are happy and well cared for. We will continue to use Toddlers for the foreseeable; thank you!

For the last four years, my daughter has attended Toddlers Inn Nursery school. The team at Toddlers Inn are some of the most amazing people to teach your children. Kind, warm and compassionate and over the course of the last four years, have helped shape my daughter's future into a bright one.
Superb
facilities and a quality of teaching and staff that I seldom see elsewhere in an eight-year career of education on the south coast.
I can't thank the team enough for the quality of care they gave to our daughter. Please please please use this amazing nursery.

Toddlers Inn is a fantastic nursery. Both my son and daughter have been attending for over 2 years and are so happy there. The staff really take the time to get to know the children and have created a warm and nurturing environment.
The outdoor area is brilliant and my daughter loves Forest School.

I thoroughly recommend this nursery. They are excellent at settling my eldest slightly reluctant son when he started. Although my children only attend for two mornings per week staff really get to know them and adapt activities to suit each individual. My children look forward to attending and I feel
confident that they are being well cared for.
