Toddlers Inn Nursery

The outside area/garden is out of this world and the children are lucky having such a large space. Excellent food and snacks and wide variety and healthy. Couldn’t be happier and would recommend to everyone.

Looked after my grandchild during lockdown. The staff are friendly and helpful. The school is very well kept and clean. Can't fault it in any way in. There is a car park opposite which is so helpful when picking up the children.

My stepson has attended Toddlers Inn for the last two years and has enjoyed every day - he even asks if he's going to nursery at the weekend and he would if he could. He has learnt so much during his time there and loved his 'forest school'. I believe his love for learning has come from this outdoor learning environment provided by the team. He will miss his friends and teachers when he goes to school in September. A brilliant nursery and foundation for school.

My son only started in March 2020. At first, we considered ourselves lucky to find a place during lockdown even though he qualified for such a space. However, it did not take us long to find out what a little jewel Toddlers Inn is. He slotted in straight away and has been happy ever since. The kindness and warmth of the staff are the highpoint together with learning activities provided and how the children are introduced to a myriad of opportunities of discovery and understanding. Keep up the great work!

Toddlers Inn is a wonderful nursery. When my usual childcare provision suddenly closed, Toddlers Inn accepted my son willingly and at the very last minute. Staff are all incredibly kind and caring and he settled in really quickly. He always came out smiling after a fun day each full of structured activities, wholesome food, playtime and wonderful outdoor adventures. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Both of our boys have been attending the nursery following the closure of schools and the loss of grandparent childcare due to Coronavirus. The nursery has been nothing but excellent in this difficult time for us all! Our youngest is only just a year old and has never been in a nursery setting before. He is a happy and bright child each and every time we collect him, and we never have any issues dropping off; he’s happy to see all the lovely staff. Our eldest normally attends the local school which closed, and although he would be able to attend another local school for key workers, we chose to keep our boys together, and Toddlers were able and willing to do this for us! They have been flexible and accommodating to our shift work! Plus amazing with our fussy eater, which was always something we struggled with at other nurseries when he was younger. Ultimately though our boys are happy and well cared for. We will continue to use Toddlers for the foreseeable; thank you!

I thoroughly recommend this nursery. They are excellent at settling my eldest slightly reluctant son when he started. Although my children only attend for two mornings per week staff really get to know them and adapt activities to suit each individual. My children look forward to attending and I feel confident that they are being well cared for.

The staff at Toddlers Inn are so friendly and welcoming like an extension of your family. Both my sons have been here one is new at Chailey St Peters, the transition was seamless. My 5-year-old now uses the after-school club which is so convenient as a parent to have one drop and one pick up. The Jewel in the crown is the outdoor space, there is so much for him to do and they go out in all weathers, just perfect. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

My son moved from another nursery to Toddlers Inn. The staff were so helpful and supportive with the transitioning period. Each day the staff provide feedback on how your child has been. I have seen my son reach milestones from being there, very talkative, bright and growing in confidence.

Toddlers Inn is a great nursery. My son and daughter both attended from age 2 and have really enjoyed themselves. The staff are friendly, it is a lovely setting with a great garden and the nursery run varied activities to keep the children entertained and help develop their learning.

This is a fantastic nursery, the staff are all extremely caring. The learning and development that each child receives is excellent and made fun. 'Tapestry' is used as a communication channel which gives you updates on what the children have done as a group and also individual observations which may include photos, this a great way to receive communications. The staff are all very professional and very easy to talk to if you have any concerns in relation to your child. I experienced potty training for my son difficult compared to his older brothers, the staff were brilliant at working as a partnership to help my son get through this development stage. The setting of the nursery is also lovely, they have their own outdoor area with a separate section for forest school for the older children and they can also use the outdoor facilities of the school. I strongly recommend this nursery, I have a very happy, ready for school little boy who has made some great friends along the way.

We have had two children at Toddlers Inn and we couldn't be happier. Staff are very competent, caring and friendly. Each day we have had a handover about his day and the tapestry log shows us how he has been progressing. Our son loves going to nursery and talks about the new friendships he has made. We would highly recommend this nursery so they are so in tune with the children and families.

A caring and child centred setting located in Mid Sussex. Toddler's Inn has a brilliant outside area which children are free to explore. The staff get to know all children as individuals and encourage them to learn according to their own interests and abilities. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
