At Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton, caring, qualified staff observe and assess children's development and most importantly provide a variety of learning experiences that are fun and build on what the children already know.

Calm tranquil rest is a prerequisite for babies and younger children and the nursery has sleep rooms equipped with cots and sleep mattresses. Each child has their own bed linen which is regularly laundered in house.

Children are given delicious homemade, nutritious meals and are offered five portions of fruit and vegetables every day. The team ensure they have the opportunity to spend time outside every day throughout the year for fresh air and exercise. When children prefer to stay indoors, an alternative physical activity is provided such as yoga and dancing.

CCTV operates throughout the nursery for the protection of children. Parents have fingerprint access directly into the nursery to drop off and collect children.

An app that shows you what your child has been doing throughout the day. E.g., sleep times, nappy changes and any food or bottles that they have consumed. There are also pictures and videos that are sent directly to your phone whilst you're at work to give you that extra reassurance.

Both of our children attend Banana Moon and we are extremely pleased with the service they offer. All the staff are kind, attentive and helpful. They offer so many very varied activities for the children making nursery really fun! They make them nutritious meals and snacks which they love.
The whole
team are friendly and approachable and we would highly recommend the nursery.

My son has had a great experience and did lots of different activities. The app was updated every day for our peace of mind. The members of the Mini Moons teams knew exactly how to settle him in such as his favourite toys and books and were able to summarise how he got on each day at pick up time. Highly

We have been so impressed with Banana Moon. The staff are approachable, helpful and knowledgeable. Communication is excellent. The app ensures that we get all the information we could possibly need in one place. They have well thought out systems to connect home learning and in the nursery, learning
to keep parents informed and involved. The provision in the Full Moon room has really suited our child. The mix of free flow and planned activities work very well. The food is excellent and they make the most of the outdoor space that is available.

This nursery has been a pleasure from the beginning! My daughter was a pandemic baby and premature she started this nursery at 8 months old and now is nearly 2, the way she has met all her milestones is amazing the constant care and attentiveness the staff offer is amazing! The staff will go the extra
mile for your child to make them feel comfortable, the app was a selling point for me it's updated throughout the day with constant pictures and videos as well as your child's daily routine! You have an assigned key worker for your child also and this has been a huge help and support for us! We have always felt safe and comforted knowing our child will be looked after and cared for in the best possible way! The activities they offer and freshly cooked meals are outstanding I have no single complaint about this nursery they are fabulous, thank you to all the staff for looking after my little one especially all the staff in baby moons!

Having placed my daughter here in May, I was nervous especially as she hadn't interacted with many children due to covid restrictions. From the first settling-in session I was at ease, you could tell the team genuinely cared for her and are very friendly and approachable. I feel that my daughter has
developed so much since starting here and it's great to see this and I love seeing all the activities she does during the day (via the app updates) as it's stuff I would never think to do with her.

Both my children have attended this nursery, and I’ve only had positive experiences. The staff are fantastic. They are genuinely friendly, attentive and caring. The app is brilliant and keeps me informed of my daughter's day and the fun activities provided. It’s hard leaving your child, but I know the

Recommended by others when I was applying for my daughters Nursey place.
I can’t say one bad word about this nursey, my daughter absolutely loves it here.
They’ve always got new activities daily, always learning about something new and they take great pride in ensuring the children are well cared
for and looked after.
Amazing range of breakfast, lunch and dinner choices for the children also.
Love having a look at what my daughter has been up to whilst at nursey also with the online portal.
I would highly recommend this nursery to friends and family!

A fantastic nursery with a really close-knit community feeling. The staff all take a very personal interest in the children and form strong bonds to support their development. Via the app you are kept fully up to date with several photo and video stories daily. Even in a Covid situation, we've always
felt connected to what our child is getting up to and he loves watching himself back when he gets home. Between the app and regular check-ins at pick up and drop off, we feel informed and supported by the staff.

It's always difficult to leave your children in the care of someone else, however, I've never felt so confident leaving my two at Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton. There aren't enough words to describe just how brilliant this nursery is, considering where we have been to previously. I have a hard to
please one-year-old and a sociable two-year-old and the staff at the nursery always go above and beyond for both children, very attentive, caring and always fun! There's always a huge range of activities within minutes of my children arriving, there's often a picture popped up of them doing something already and the app to keep you updated is fantastic. Seeing pictures and now videos throughout the day is a massive added bonus. Not to mention the meals provided are lovely, both my children eat them along with seconds most of the time.

From the first day we went to look around the nursery, we knew Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton was the right place for our daughter. As nervous first time parents we felt reassured and found all the staff we encountered to be polite, friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and above all - had the children’s
best interests at heart.
My daughter has now been at the nursery for 3 months, she has settled well, engaging with all the staff in the baby room, interacting with the other babies, playing with the huge selection of toys that encourage learning and sensory play, enjoying the garden and the many different activities such as painting, biscuit making, card making, finger and foot printing to name a few. She naps well at the nursery, we regularly liaise with the staff to ensure her naps are consistent with what we do at home, she eats well - there is always a good variety of healthy meals and snacks. We get regular updates via the app and at pick ups from the staff and we are really happy with Banana Moon!

Banana Moon has provided excellent service from the first day I contacted them about my son attending. As a first time, Mum I was worried about my son starting nursery especially during COVID but the staff at Banana Moon were excellent in providing reassurance and making sure both I and my son were
happy and comfortable through him settling in.
My son has settled in well and thoroughly enjoys his time at nursery. They cater for his allergy and he has progressed so much in his abilities in the short time he has been attending. The response to COVID has been excellent at Banana Moon and I have absolutely no worries about my son being there. I would recommend them to anyone.
I love everything about Banana Moon but for me, it’s the staff that really make the place shine.

My son joined Banana Moon in January 2020 at the age of 3, I was so worried that he wouldn’t settle with joining in an older group but all the staff were so supportive and made him feel welcome. Fast forward 11 months and he is so excited to go to nursery on a Monday morning, refers to the staff as
‘his friends’ and has come on leaps and bounds with his writing, spelling and counting. The daily updates and photos are enough to make any parent smile, and my son's stories of his days are enough to tell me he is very happy there too.

I am very pleased with our choice to send our daughter to Banana Moon. I love that I can keep up to date with her day via their mobile app and see all the activities she gets to enjoy with the other children.
Given 2020 we’ve been unable to attend baby classes, the staff at the nursery have done amazingly
with my daughter and she has learnt so much from them and the other babies.
She is always so happy to be there and I have peace of mind knowing she is having a great day.

When Banana Moon opened in Nottingham, in 2018 we went to visit the nursery, which was the first nursery that we visited and we knew straight away that the nursery would be a safe and happy place for our son.
Our son loves nursery and has progressed leaps and bounds during the last 2 years and we
are very happy with the staff and services provided.
The staff are very professional, friendly and supportive, and the managers have always been very helpful and accommodating with regards to our childcare needs.
Highly recommend this nursery to all.

My son started at Banana Moon in July and he loves it. All the staff are very friendly and they helped him settle in really quickly. The facilities are brilliant with lots of space and activities for the children to have fun and develop. The big smile on my little boy's face every time I pick him up
tells me that he's being well looked after.
