At Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton, caring, qualified staff observe and assess children's development and most importantly provide a variety of learning experiences that are fun and build on what the children already know.

Calm tranquil rest is a prerequisite for babies and younger children and the nursery has sleep rooms equipped with cots and sleep mattresses. Each child has their own bed linen which is regularly laundered in house.

Children are given delicious homemade, nutritious meals and are offered five portions of fruit and vegetables every day. The team ensure they have the opportunity to spend time outside every day throughout the year for fresh air and exercise. When children prefer to stay indoors, an alternative physical activity is provided such as yoga and dancing.

CCTV operates throughout the nursery for the protection of children. Parents have fingerprint access directly into the nursery to drop off and collect children.

An app that shows you what your child has been doing throughout the day. E.g., sleep times, nappy changes and any food or bottles that they have consumed. There are also pictures and videos that are sent directly to your phone whilst you're at work to give you that extra reassurance.

The nursery and the staff are amazing at keeping my children happy and settled in the nursery. I have two children attending the nursery and both are always happy and playing, eat well and sleep well. They have a fantastic relationship not only with the staff but with other children too. They are taught
how to be kind, share, to express their feelings and emotions which has been fantastic for their development and progression. My children are thriving in this nursery and I am very happy with their development.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton! The care and attention our child received throughout their time in the baby and mini rooms have been exceptional.
Our child recently transitioned to the minimoons and the staff handled the move with such professionalism
and care. They organized several settling-in sessions, which helped our child get familiar with the new room, routines, and educators. The team was always on hand to answer our questions and update us on how our child was adapting, which really put our minds at ease.
The environment is wonderfully stimulating, with activities that encourage learning, creativity, and independence.
We've also been impressed with how seamlessly the nursery has integrated educational elements, preparing our child for their next steps in learning while keeping everything fun and engaging.

My son has recently left Banana Moon Day Nursery to attend school nursery now but his experience at Banana Moon was amazing. He was there for just over a year, starting in the toddler room.
I expressed my nerves before his start date as I was concerned about his development and additional needs. Not
only did management point me in the right direction to get all the help and support I needed outside of nursery but were a massive support within the nursery setting too. The girls there really understood his needs and worked around him, including the lovely chef. He is a picky eater and the chef would always accommodate him and never give up trying new foods.
Everyone was so patient with him and it really built up his confidence, activities were made and his interests were really thought about to keep him engaged and helping him achieve his targets. My son's speech was delayed but now he is talking so much more and I believe he wouldn't be where he is today if he didn't attend Banana Moon.

My nephew has been attending Banana Moon since 2023. He absolutely loves all the staff there, which isn't hard as they shower all the children with love and warmth, creating a nurturing, yet stimulating environment to thrive in! He's adapted and learnt a great deal of social and learning skills during
his time at nursery. He's a very fussy eater and the chef always caters to his needs, preparing him meals which tie in with his dietary requirements. I can't thank the staff and nursery enough for the care and love they provide him, and supporting him throughout his journey at Wollaton!

My baby girl started immediately in the new year after her settling in sessions pre-Christmas and my anxiety was heightened after never leaving her with anyone previously. 2 days later she doesn’t even look back, she’s settled in so well over the past month and I have zero worries or concerns for her
well-being. The app is the best thing I could have hoped for! Keeping me in the loop, messages, updates, pictures, her little daily diary. I can’t fault the staff, they are attentive, knowledgeable and just a credit to the nursery. I’ve recommended Banana Moon to others and if we have another baby I’ll be putting our names down as soon as they are born!

After my firstborn child attended this nursery back in 2020, I decided to apply for my youngest to start here in 2023 and I am so glad I did. The staff are still as good (if not better) as they were years ago. They always go the extra mile and I feel so at ease leaving my son there. The app updates
are great as you are kept in the loop whilst your child is at the setting. I would 100% recommend Banana Moon to any of my friends or family with young children.

Both my children have been attending this nursery, my daughter has been going for nearly two years and my son started in January 2023. He has a pacemaker. The nursery has been wonderful and even raised money for a defibrillator for the nursery and community to raise awareness.
Both my children are
more confident and enjoy going to nursery as they get to do a lot of different activities. The lunch is also good compared to a lot of other nurseries.

Banana Moon Day Nursery Wollaton has been an amazingly supportive, caring and fun place for our little one.
We struggled to get him to sleep, but the carers were so supportive and helped us without judging in a kind and gentle manner.
Our little one has shown some behavioural challenges, but the staff
have recognised concerns and spoken to us in a collaborative, non-judgemental and productive manner. The amount of love, care and cuddles the girls give is superb.
They have an on-site chef whose food is just amazing!
The nursery staff really encourage each child's needs, whether they love animals or numbers they've always got a new fun activity to include everyone.
The nursery also gives little activities to do at home, which we think is such a lovely idea. Like make your own play dough, recipes etc.
It's so easy to see what your child is doing with the app and to book extra days etc.
The outdoor space could be a bit bigger ideally.

My daughter loves going to Banana Moon Day Nursery, she's always so happy afterwards, she has made lots and lots of friends and brings back nice paintings and drawings she loves her (nursery teachers) and always talks about them. A lovely nursery with wonderful staff who go above and beyond. My son loves attending nursery and we get lots of updates throughout the day so we know what he’s up to.

Me, my husband and little one think that Banana Moon Day Nursery is amazing! I was quite worried about my son starting there at 11 months old but he settled in so well. Now 7 months on he absolutely loves going and adores the staff. The staff are incredible, they welcome my son like he is family every
morning and shower him with so much love. They keep me up to date with what he has been doing at nursery with lots of photos and videos. Plus they always have time to talk to me at the drop-offs and pick-ups too. My son has learnt so much at nursery, he now can self soothe himself to sleep, he knows more words, he is very sociable and he is beginning to share with others. They provide him with so many exciting opportunities every day which I can’t provide at home. I cannot think of a negative thing to say about the nursery, they are truly fantastic and we feel so lucky to send our son there. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work and dedication, it really shines through.

Banana Moon is an incredible nursery. The warmth that we receive when we walk in the door puts both my child and myself immediately at ease. Staff are enthusiastic, confident, compassionate, respectful, creative and so fun. All the staff in the baby room have gotten to know my child and know her and
her interests really well. They always make it a point to tell me what she's been up to and I love all the pictures and updates we receive through the app that they use. The food is excellent and the staff are brilliant at teaching my child to eat properly and to eat a variety of foods. My child loves all the activities and I always feel like she will be having an amazing day when I drop her off- a good feeling because I miss her so much during the day. I know she's learning and able to do wonderful activities we don't do at home. My older child (now in school) also loved Banana Moon and staff still greet her when we pick up the youngest!
